So, Now that this story has ended, I wonder what Shade will be doing now.
Perhaps, given his obsession with birds, A Totally Accurate Battle Simulator SI as a Chicken Man? :p

Confusion: It's over?
Reluctance: We didn't want it to end, yet we were ready for it to finish.
Assurance: This was a truly wonderful story. Compliments to the chef.
Panic: Author. We meant author. Author did good. Yes.
Offhand: We always enjoy a good FoZ story. This was more than good.

Having paced myself since my discovery of this fic and reached the end only shortly after it was completed, my hat is off to you, Shade. I enjoyed the ride, and look forward to future stories. You have earned my first user-follow.

I now wish for a Shade Fic. in the JoJo!verse

Or a crossover with Ars Poetica's One Foot. Joseph and Anna return to earth to find themselves in the Pineapple Confederacy.

"Holy Sh-- we've gone back in time!"

"You mean this isn't your Era?"

"No this is back when the first rich dude bought up the debt of the United States and made his own Empire. Setting a precedent for all the other times the United States would find itself in debt."

"Interesting, how long would it be for the next time they are willing to sell some land?"

Thus, it is the beginning of the derail.

Granted, it sort of started happening as soon as the story ended, but here we are.
I thought we were in the Corner, had that open along with a bunch of other Shade threads. In response to the whole "JJBA Shade" comment, even had that comment in quotes one the other thread. But I somehow typed and posted my reply here...

Thank you for your work author!

Didn't exactly search out this kind of story, but really glad that I came across it. Dug the world, it felt vibrant and the characters had depth. Although by no means a short work the pacing felt spot on.

So, Much Kudos.

Okay , since you just joined today, I'll let you get off relatively unscathed.

Generally, if a thread has not had any comments posted on it for more that a week, then that thread is considered inactive.

Threads like this one, which have been inactive for months, are considered dead.

Now if you comment on a thread which has been pronounced dead and you are not the original poster, you have commuted an act known as the necro. What this means is that you have started up a dead thread, and have thus annoyed everyone who is following it.

Always look for the post date of the last three posts in any thread. If the have been posted within a week of you, then you're good. Any more than that, and, well you've earned the wrath of pretty much everyone with a necro.

The Author should write Completed into the Thread title so one can comment on the thread if one likes without anyone thinking the story might continue/get a sequel.

Bah. If people yell at you, ignore them - if they can't be bothered to read the update notices to see that it wasn't the OP, then it's their own fault for getting their hopes up or whatever.
