Ah, yes. The greatest honor a Human can be bestowed for a good deed towards Catkind. To have his bed used by the cat to take a nap. Indeed, it shows an immense amount of trust and kindness on the part of the cat.

Yup, that's how it pretty much goes. Cat just waltzes in and acts like it owns the place. Even if it's the cat's first time in the place.

This actually happened to a neighbour of mine, the cat just showed up in their garden one day, came back a few times and steadily moved into the house and now they've bout it food bowls and stuff and it just sort of hangs around dozing a lot ,while their neighbours cat follows the nominally adopted stray around on occasion before running off at the first sign of acknowledgement.

This happened to my parents as well. They took the cat inside few times, and then it just started to come back, marching inside and laying on the sofa like it owned the place.
 
There was a stray cat that kept sneaking into the house through the dog door. It kept eating the dog food and attacking the cats. This went on for months. Then it just stopped showing up.

    Then it all stops, and you feel Pink Girl pick you up. Pink Girl is all pink and frilly! Just like after she saved you from the big metal thing so long ago.

    "I know how to help you, Homura-chan," Madoka giggles, "You just need love! It's okay, kitty, I'll never leave you."

    Then she hugs you close to her neck. This is okay. You love Pink Girl. If she never leaves you and keeps loving you, that's good!
    You mewl and hug her back with your tiny kitty paws.

    "That's an admirable wish, Kaname-san," Hitomi smiles at Madoka, "I hope we'll become great Magical Girls together!"

    Oh, oh, Pink Girl can hunt with you now!
