Mauling Snarks (Worm) (Complete)

Maul. She has the money.
If I could get a hold of Maul, she could just fix the pancreas I have.
They got maul-heavy pancia-medic giga-scout Ashia-spy, vista-solider

demoman is the only one I can't match a ward to.
Panacea isn't a Ward; on the other hand, Maul can do Medic as well as Heavy. Also, Vista's the Sniper. As for a Demoman, you'll have to go to the Boston Wards for that.

I personally see Maul being a sort of "roving parahuman specialist" who moves to a different PRT facility every couple months or so as various situations come up.
Between the teleporters and her pocket dimension, Maul will be the Protectorate's roving troubleshooter. She's already had a couple outings as such, and if she and Amy do move into BA's pocket full time, she can be anywhere there's a beacon in the morning, and go right back home at night.

But she prefers to shoot near trouble and asking "this is what happens if you escelate to a gun fight. Are you sure you want to make this a gun fight?" All while causing damage far out of scale to the pistol she's using. That or shutting down troublesome parahumans in melee, assuming she can't shut them down without lifting a finger. Thus she's not a "troubleshooter", she's a "trouble spooker".

Considering the ease-of-use of the teleporters and pocket dimensions, she can be the Protectorate's roving troubleshooter AND a member of a regional team. Probably not the leader of said team, but a member.

That, or they finally agree with her uncle to have her assigned to the S9 Therapy Group.
Not a chance. It would be horrible for PR. Maybe with a complete costume change, a focus on improvised weapons instead of specific loadouts, and a completely different personality. Maybe happy-go-lucky cheerleader? Introduce her as Jack Slash's niece, just for funzies.

Honestly, the closest to working with the S9 I can see Maul going, is being some sort of liason. Since she is going to be a Troubleshooter anyway, she could be sent to whatever city the S9 are in to drive them out. And get some nice time in with her uncle.

[snip]

So in final tally.
We have Four Certified Badasses in Armsmaster, Assault, Dauntless, and Miss Militia. Two of which dwarf the others, but still.
With Two Badasses in all but Experience and Name with Countdown and Wrench Wraith. The latter due entirely to having a rather tight leash at the moment, rather than her not actually having Experience and a Name for herself.
With a Possible in Grue... or Blackout I think it is in MS? I can't recall. T^T
And some decent tag ins with Battery, Clock, and Triumph. If alive.
...I am sure Gallant can get something done. >_> Maybe Gallant can call his Girlfriend to be his Knight.

EDIT:

Oh good, I forgot Reknit, the REFRESHED LEET!

I might be remembering the details incorrectly, but I'm pretty sure that Dragon is officially a member of ENE Protectorate, so that adds the worlds greatest tinker (and one of the strongest parahumans period) on that side as well.

No, just an Honorary/consultant member of the Protectorate and the PRT.
Don't forget loving daughter of a ward, and girlfriend to Armsmaster.
And a member of the Guild, that's important.

Also of note in the Ward vs Protectorate decision matrix, Wards are pretty much contractually obligated to go easy on you, and are generally underequiped and kept from conflict. The Protectorate on the other hand, regularly gets in much more serious conflicts (Maul excepted), and has a use of force policy much more in line with Police. So they may try to not hurt you too bad, but may equally just wreck your day because it's more efficient.

Maul Excepted, none of the wards have particularly lethal options (Offically). Even VIsta's nice new Sniper rifle is "Stun Only". And Vista is decidedly the most dangerous Ward (maul excepted) around, and up there with the local heavy's in the Protectorate as well (even restricted).

So yeah, given the option of picking fights between Wards or Protectorate, I'll take the wards thanks. Unless it's Gallant.

Okay, I am making a guess here: Most of Missy's extended family members are villains, and the leader is Missy's overbearing Nazi killing grandmother. She's tired of waiting for Missy to turn eighteen, so she is trying to kidnap her to bring her into the gang.

Does it hang together, or am I just crazy?
You're crazy. Missy has one parahuman aunt.
Oh my, the Toon dragon can go global if she decides you need punishment. Bugs would be so pleased.
She can only go global if you get close enough to her for her to lock on, that range is just larger than expected.
..... I thought Velocity transferred out, and they were up to THREE Tinkers on the local Protectorate Team, plus Grue.....

A team with Three Tinkers; one efficiency, one vehicle, and one that can make one of Anything. This team should (on paper) be a total nightmare to deal with. Pity the Wards have been getting all the practical experience for close to a year now.....

EDIT: FOUR Tinkers. I forgot the damn Bomb Tinker.....

The current list of Protectorate members in BB, and why they're (still) there, is:
  1. Armsmaster - Protectorate leader
  2. Assault - Nobody wants the prankster
  3. Battery - Married to Assault by now, and he has to go with her, so nobody wants her either
  4. Clockblocker - Is still attending school in the region, will likely be shipped out next summer
  5. Countdown - Has no desire to leave tinker paradise
  6. Dauntless - Eligible for transfer, but other regions wrote him off when his equipment was destroyed and don't realize that he's recovered a lot faster thanks to Taylor. Will likely be shipped out when other regions realize this.
  7. Dragon - Transferred into the region to be near Mother and Armsmaster, spends lots of time traveling though
  8. Gallant - Is still attending school in the region, has family obligation elements also keeping him around right now. May be shipped out next summer anyway, may not be.
  9. Grue - Is responsible for Aisha, who is attending school in the region
  10. Miss Militia - Is the semi-official "more social" buffer for Armsmaster regarding the Wards, and is officially second in command locally
  11. Reknit - Another with no desire to leave tinker paradise at this point
  12. Wrench Wraith - Lots of tinkers with no desire to leave tinker paradise, aren't there?
Irma's name seems familiar. Ring bells for anyone?
Irma and Anne are Rope and Scissors girl in this case. Irma is also the name I believe I gave to Ravager...
God damn Endbringer-worshipping fuckwits.
Wrong fuckwits this time.

You'd chose to fight Maul and Vista? Not me. I especially would refuse to even consider carrying a gun on me if I might meet the Wards. Doesn't matter if I'm committing a crime or not. Maul might beat me down then lecture me on gun safety if I haven't cared for it properly.

Lots of tinkers with no desire to leave tinker paradise, aren't there?

We've been spending most of our lives living in a tinker paradise, built a radio once or twice living in a tinker paradise
