Had you considered Taylor wearing one of these as a belt? It would mean she could deliver blows to things and people from a good distance away from her, and some pretty strange angles...


Watching her learn to use it might be quite amusing. :)

She'd get the best benefit form one with a shorter rope, I think, so she could spin it without having to tie herself up and let her power take care of extending the hits out to her targets. Maybe something like the ball-and-chain arrangement used for the sport called "hammer throwing," given her biotinker-enhanced strength?

Can we expect Uber and Leet to dress up as Star Wars characters and corner Maul?

She already has Force Jump, Force Push and can sense snarks through the Force and manipulate them.

A good reminder that Piggot is a person, with a sense of humour. Of course, that's one thing this fic has consistently been good about: Showing characters that we often don't see much of as people.

So, I just realized, but I'm guessing this is basically equivalent to the ShardOS throwing an error message for "Resource Collectors Improperly/Not Deployed", and Taylor's BroadcastAdmin ShardOS interpreter translating it into a much more simple format.

Hmm. There are ways of making flexible objects briefly rigid, maybe like by using a force-field? If that was coordinated with Taylor using her power...

Or, she might just like trying to hit things using a meteor hammer. :)

(For extra fun get something which gives the hammer an eldritch glow, to distract them, while she gives them a quick kick with steel-toed boots. :) )

I think again my point still stands: While those weapons look cool, with her power of force projection why would she bother? A meteor hammer extends the reach of a normal person at the expense of time to wind up (same with an olympic hammer) but Taylor can hit as far as she can see. And if she needs more power behind her hits she can swing her maul just as easily as she could an olympic hammer, and it wouldn't have any of the drawbacks of a flexible rope like losing control.

That I would grant you, except her best results when talking to snarks seem to boil down to "Wouldn't it be cool if..."

if...What? All the ideas I have seen are just that it looks cool (which I grant), it extends her reach (it doesn't), or it would allow her to hit harder (see my previous post). I'm totally open to new and exciting ideas for how to mess with the shards limits, just not seeing them in these weapons.
 
Does Squealer count as a moll for Maul to maul with her maul in the mall or perhaps some male moll gets mauled with a mailbox, mate?

Too bad Maul is responsible enough to not use her maul against those who couldn't take it. <_< Unless we can find a way to make Lung or maybe Hookwolf count as someone's moll?
