Mauling Snarks (Worm) (Complete)

Ok, I was torn between giving this one a "Like" and a "Funny". Based on Zion's antics, I went with "Funny". Nice to see that the Troubleshooters handling the reconfiguring are getting to the end of the stack, though now I'm wondering if maybe Eden might have an emergency backup tucked away in the final bits of the crash site that just wasn't able to get enough juice to power up. If they really did learn about redundant backups it could happen, at least.

I like how we're coming full circle. Zion first appeared to a bunch of people on a ferry. And this will be his last appearance before he vanishes. Again, on a ferry. I think.

So, Zion has trouble with the socials? Ah, well. :)

Nice job on proceeding with (what seems to be) the wrap-up.

Honestly, i just keep imagining him with all of the hands he manifested palming his face instead of the implied one. So much funnier that way.

Wow. Taylor saw that Missy was upset about Carlos dying and she doesn't say anything other than "Oh". Even if she doesn't care at all about one of her former team members, Missy sure does. And Taylor barely even acknowledges Carlos and instead just tells Missy to stop working out so hard. WTF Taylor, that is now what you do when someone is grieving. Taylor is incredibly callous and doesn't seem to give a shit about anyone other than Amy.

Y'know, this chapter has made me think/realize that the true point of diversion for this fic was ages ago, and could be described as "Zion's line of entities actually learn from their Cycles".

It makes sense to me. She wasn't hit as hard emotionally because she wasn't as close to him and so her priority is to ensure that her friend doesn't hurt herself. I've reacted much the same way when I heard someone died.

To be fair we already knew that these entity's were different since they gave power urges for use not conflict. That in its self implied a previous cycle went very different, but yes this does appear to be the primary divergence

Honestly, I'm still hoping that Carlos will come back somehow. Maybe Helvetia just hadn't come around to his Shard yet, and when his coffin is being lowered into the grave he'll burst out of it like a zombie. I think that'd be funny. If he's gonna stay dead... F for my man Carlos. Rest in peace.
