Well, would there be enough girls without Faith (and would she be able to sneakily keep away, since this was why she was allowed inside)?
Though now I'm leaning towards going with No.

Yea, if Faith joins the ritual, then if things go bad, Faith will be hit by killer bloodlust against astral. And if things go right. Any drink she imbibes will be sent to astral.
Not really sure what would happen if Astral survives the ritual, or what happens to the girls. For one thing, it might cause all the girls powers to be sent to the guy if he survives? It could bless everyone who took part in the ritual, or any number of things.

Faith joining the ritual helps break it and she more or less safe.
...Astral being the 'sacrifice' already fucks over the ritual for the human sacrificing bastards. No need to risk things. *And* we don't want Athena trying to get her hands on Faith.

That's why we even shifted the reward to give Faith the Light's blessings (which would eventually turn her towards one of the Thirteen)

She supposed to join the ritual becuase that's what will shatter it into itsy bitty peices this is a if Fate chickens out choice.

No it does not. It would entitle her to a bit of risk from other factors, but she has the blessing of the light, so the god of parties will not touch her.
