Matter of Faith (BTVS / OC)

[X] ...sign me up, I think I'd go nuts waiting on the side lines for my 'Destiny' to get here with this guy charging forward like he does

[X] Faith thought about it for just a second. But not much longer. Destiny had never been something she cared about - but one bit of that resonated more than anything she knew about the whole slayer gig. "The call for help answered, huh? Yeah. That's five by five."

I just like this better than the other one, even if they both amount to the same thing. It just seems more like Faith.

So I've been reading this quest for a while (and it's really fun), but before I vote, can somenone please point me to a list of The Thirteen with their pros and cons?
My quick forum search amounted to nothing..

Can we make use of knowing when she would have become a slayer? Since that indicates when one have died will her passing on that information change it?

Here's a question.. Faith went to Sunnydale cos she got told to by the Watchers Council right? It was that or she heard about Buffy after becoming a Slayer and legged it there when Diana got rekt.

So, if she's not a Slayer, is there any reason for her to turn up there?

I mean, wasn't Faith kind of important to the survival of some of the Scoobies and saving the World?

-[X]'sides, something about slayers sounds sketchy to me: I'll probably be better off.

Because, you know, demonic pseudo-exaltations should always give people the creeps, even when they have no clue what it actually is.

This is basically all info we have.

So I haven't missed anything. Thanks anyway.

I'd actually rather have Faith become the Slayer, but that's not going to happen anyway and being the Handmaiden of War has a nice ring to it. We also get a step closer to a better version of the mirrorverse scenario.
Now we only have to get Astral up there and have him shout "Vermin" at those creatures:D

And poor Faith, finally in a stable relationship and gets to see twelve girls dancing around her boyfriend.
Thankfully Astral is Mr. Nice Guy:cool:

:(

I still don't agree with this choice. Or really being rewarded for it because it was essentially backing down like a bitch from the plan like a coward and leaving Astral to handle the burn.

We didn't have Astrals back this time and that's not cool

What are you talking about? This was the plan. Just having Astral tank the normal method of death was the plan. Becoming collateral because we decided to jump head-first into a mind-affecting ritual without knowing all the ins and outs of it wouldn't be cool.

We are, right now, mostly sober, not tired, and not having to deal with any of the influence of the Greek/Roman god of partying/excess/drunkenness, protected from it by the Light or not, so if bad things go down Faith can still help Astral out.

The plan was to go into the ritual blessed and blow it up and salt the eart by pissing off Dionysus at them.

Yes. Astral is blessed. The whole point was that he's supposed to die of Alcohol poisoning, but cleanse negates it. Astral is already a chosen of the Light, so his mere presence in the ritual is enough to screw it up. Two people screwing with it will not increase the amount of not-getting-any-more-blessings-from-Dionysus that will be happening because the ritual was corrupted/subverted. Where were you when we came up with this plan?
