Pretty sure she is curt in private, too. I could be wrong, I guess? I'm not an expert on ZnT.

Its never really spoken of in ZnT iirc.Pretty sure she is curt in private, too. I could be wrong, I guess? I'm not an expert on ZnT.
Yeah, actually. I forgot about it until you brought it up, but I wonder why it didn't show her real name. I mean, it showed that Colbert was the Flame Snake. Its never really spoken of in ZnT iirc.
...you know is it just me or is it odd that her nameplate says Tabitha?
Colbert still thinks of himself as the Flame Snake.Yeah, actually. I forgot about it until you brought it up, but I wonder why it didn't show her real name. I mean, it showed that Colbert was the Flame Snake.

Also, I hope Karin takes her on a training trip at some point.
Tabitha just shook her head. No, La Vallière's eyes weren't the same as before and neither was the way Louise used them. Kirche hadn't noticed, but Tabitha had. Louise's eyes sometimes looked into something that wasn't there.

There is still this issue
I think the best solution would be having the max MP cost increase along with the effects, but she can choose to spend less MP for less effects. That would prevent spells from being unusable in most situations at a high level, and wouldn't run into the issue of extreme inefficiency.
<Secretary?>Everybody had one set over their heads. Nobles, commoners, Louise herself. It spelled out the letters 'LV' and a number, the person's name and sometimes their position on top. Monsieur de Smet had been a Magic Physician, his assistant, a commoner, was a Physician's Assistant.
Lv33 Mathilda Longueville?
And now Miss Longueville was, apparently… a secretary? Why was that even a question?
No, she did.
She'd have to try really hard to screw up her self-esteem now that Louise has The Gamer. No matter how unrealistic or unreasonable her training is, Louise has the ability to reach those goals.Only if Karin actually helps Louise with her self-esteem/need to prove herself issues. Otherwise I fear she would do more harm than good.

I don't think Karin is the best person to teach her how to deal with loneliness... actually, I don't think she even knows anyone who could help with that. But are those goals really what she wants? She has decided to become a powerful mage to prove to her classmates that yes, she is just as good as them (which is much better than just rolling over) but that won't make her any less lonely. Her mother is a very powerful mage/warrior/hero. Someone needs to press to Louise that becoming a level 100 Gamer will guarantee her sycophants, and enemies. It doesn't guarantee her friends or people that will care for her versus what she can do for them. Karin is very good at not getting across that she cares to her daughters, Louise does not need an example that being a super powerful war asset is what she wants to be her end goal in life.

Duke has his estate, Karin has her rule of steel, Cattelya substitutes animals, Eleanore is forever alone, Kirche is a player, Tabitha... let's not even go there, Guiche is a manslut, and Montmorency is a yandere.
Yeah she's probably going to have to figure that out herself.
Louise bought him, and he hasn't been mentioned since.
Louise should add Derflinger to her party once she figures that ability out, would be all kind of interesting to see what adding points in agility would do for him. What about Derflinger though? I mean theres no one better to confide in about something that sounds totally insane, than a completely inanimate object capable of sapience and speech.
Louse: "These floating texts appear and instruct me and tell me I have gained wisdom and give me quests! "
Derf: "Well, I would say you are mad. But I am a talking sword, so lets just roll with it and figure the whole thing out!"
And then with Derfs help, Louse becomes a minmaxer and becomes the greatest wielder of the sword ever.
Whatever happened to Derflinger anyway?
Because she doesn't have him with her yet.
Edit: ninjas"Alright. I'll take it." The merchant looked disbelieving, but undeniably happy. Louise didn't let herself regret her words. "The sword and the dagger, with scabbards and belts. Also, the sword should be cleaned and polished. Sharpen it anyway." The shopkeeper nodded, taking note. "How much for it to be ready by next Voidsday?"
She paid to have Derf cleaned and sharpened, she will pick him up in a few days.
Eh. Karin's not that bad. She has friends, if they're still alive like the group of Knights she first joined for the manticore knights she led. Or the Vampire sisters Daphne and the other one.I don't think Karin is the best person to teach her how to deal with loneliness... actually, I don't think she even knows anyone who could help with that.
