MakeAmericaSaneAgain. A 2016 political campaign.

Admittedly, I'm a bit worried all of these endorsements from the rap community are going to hurt our appeal to the Republican Base.

[X] Plan Trumpicide

Gonna Stump the Trump.

I'm open to changing it if anyone comes up with something better. All I want is a speech that'll work and hit hard.
I've been asking for suggestions since char creation ended. We shouldn't be having to have this discussion.
Trump is a rascist sexist prat, we could go for equality? Would chime with our support base. We could talk about how ludicrously impractical his wall is, but I don't want to spend an action that never gets us momentum.
I have literally never heard the name of that other lady before this update so I've got nothing there.

Fiorina is to put it lightly, a vampire. Takes Lucent Technologies and ran it to the ground while playing accounting tricks to drive up stock prices and hide misdemeanors, put together a merger with HP and Compact that went nowhere...

In short, an incompetent Mitt Romney. Murder her.

I honestly have little problem with @Chengar Qordath 's plan. But the one fault I have with it is attacking businesses for certain practices. We may want to take the momentum away from trump, but not end up becoming Trump 2.0. And I really don't want to alienate high paying donors.

Like I've said, I'm open to changing the topic of the speech if we can come up with something better.

Perhaps you can go for the angle of how companies that have had to file for multiple bankruptcies should count themselves lucky. Or something along those lines, as long as it can't be seen as direct attack against business.

Or we could grow a spine, since that might get us elected.

EDIT: To put it differently, look at the reasons why Trump won the nomination and Bush lost. Part of it can of course be explained by charisma but the majority of the reason why Trump won was because people were sick of the establishment. We need to establish ourselves as the sane anti-establishment candidate opposed to Trump's brand of anti-establishment and cozying up to big business(at least in public) isn't going to get us there.

Put simply, merely saying, "There are some businesses which do corrupt practices and get away with it, like people I won't name (Trump)" is not going to have business running away from us.

Even businesses stand, at least publicly, against corrupt/bad business practices.

We're hardly chanting "Occupy Wall Street" here.

Had another thought for a different line of attack while at work.

Let's give a nice big speech about the greatness of American democracy, and our historical roots going all the way back to Athens. Then mention how demagogues were responsible for ruining Athenian democracy and ultimately destroying it with "Politics of hate and fear that divided the populace." No need to name names, but folks would draw the connection to Trump. And a general theme of "America is awesome because democracy" should be a pretty inoffensive topic for a speech.

im assuming trump is extra lucking cause I dont remember him being this popular this early in the campaign

Why do you think we can't do better than Bush among blacks?
Current problems this year that have incited racial tensions that might also arise in this quest?

We could migate that if we continue to court the African - amercian vote but we need to be careful about "alienating" our normal vote base.

People don't give a shit about Athens or history. Talking about how great America is isn't a bad idea but I don't know how many voters you'll appeal to, particularly if you want to hurt Trump.

... I give a shit about them.

But maybe you're right. Historical parallels might go over the average american's head.

Yes, I should have elaborated because I certainly give a shit as well. The problem is that the average voter probably doesn't know or care about the history of democracy. As far as they know, democracy was invented in America in 1776 and the rest of the world just copied the US because it was so awesome. Talking about Athens("that's them people with all the debt, right?!") and the fall of democracy there isn't going to interest most Americans because most people aren't interested in history.
You have to know your crowd when you're doing a speech. If we speak at a university, I could see this type of speech being effective but outside of areas with high education rates, something like this will have extremely limited appeal.

is the slogan "Make America Great again" already linked to Trump? we need a catchy slogan like that...
