Late in the year, it appears Amora has awoken...and Egil is calling for aid, as he believes she is possessed, is draining Asgard's magic, and may be a threat to the Nine Realms in total. Does Loki help and answer Egil's call? With his Chitauri?

People want to compromise with the former rebels when we've succeeded without listening to rebel nonesense so far. Wasn't Sigyn raped by the rebel faction in a previous update? ugh.

Actually it seems to be implied that Hellbindi was behind that, note that the retconning of the rape had him seemingly killed preventing it, and the guy was considered a demon by every other Jotun. And considering we killed his brother he may have acted in response to that.

Besides that we have spent time getting friendly with these guys and they seem to be genuine which was the point. And they do have legit reasons and by them I mean the rest of the Jotun people. Loki has made some serious fuck ups before including wrecking the Climate of an entire planet for one person who wasn't even from said planet.

Also you seem to be one of the people extremely biased towards giving up any control no matter how small with serious control freak tendencies.

Seriously, not compromising when we should have has repeatedly bitten us in the ass and in this case we have made some serious fuck ups that ended up pissing off most of the population. Now seems like a good time to freaking compromise with the people of Jotunheim.

Why are we going Chaos route again?

My reasons still stand. I fking don't want Chthon or Shuma-Gorath.

    Loki speaks his words, but Thor does not seem pleased by them.

    "Serve Asgard. Then...why here?" The Thunderer questions. Before Loki can respond, he continues his short and simple thoughts. "Join Asgard again or....con...con...judge..." Thor furrows his brow as if trying to say a word or think of something. "I destroy. Megathor is REEEEAAAAADYYY!" And then he's gone. From what he's saying, Thor is giving Loki an ultimatum of rejoining Asgard or suffering the consequences.

    Bellos' lips tighten for a moment, and he seems to take some time to craft his words.

    "I think you misunderstand Loki. While we can certainly rule in a council together, you hold no true power here. You have raised the power of Jotunheim enough that...without all out war, which would be foolish on both ends, there is no way to impose your will. So I offer you again, and this time it is much more strict, you can either rule with the council holding veto rights, because we do trust parts of your judgement and your expertise, or you can step down and allow someone else to rule. Those are your choices."

    Loki has to think about it for a moment. Ultimately his choice is...

    Loki agrees to sign his book, and even gives the young man a...headpat. Ryt's eyes light up, as he accepts Loki's perceived praise. He then vigorously shakes Loki's hand and thanks him in a rapid fire manner (thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!) and even gives him an appreciative hug. Loki's not sure what to do besides awkwardly pat the young man's back.

    It is a serum of complete unpredictability, one that is seeped in chaos, with unknown capabilities. As Loki looks at the serum in caution, Egil is quick to grab the vial and looks to down it when he suddenly stops and looks around as if hearing something.

    "Lady Sigyn..." He says in a whisper tone. This gets Loki's attention.

    "Sigyn? What about Sigyn? Is she alright?" Loki asks, concerned. Egil shakes his head slightly.

    "No, she is...there appears to be a robot of sorts that is attacking her, sent from Nova Corps. I...do not see Lorelei's play here, I must say, and am baffled as to why she would order such a thing." He then turns to Loki with a serious look. "You may want to wait on taking the serum, Loki as it may have adverse effects and it may take some getting used to. I..." He trails off and brings the vial to his lips. "I have more experience."

    Egil's words ring in Loki's ears, about Sigyn being in danger and being attacked, as well as about the chaos serum. Does he heed the guardian's words? Or does he simply take the serum and hope it will help him in this instance? He is torn...

    Right before creating the serum and letting it sit, Loki and Egil work endlessly on a machine, one to find whatever it is possessing her, and tracing it. Together they make a machine that is likely to work, likely to trace the energy, now they only need to get to Asgard to use it. Given what is learned about Sigyn, Egil asks if Loki wishes to come with him to Asgard so they can try the machine out, does he accept?

    • Fuck, why did we not explain to Thor that the ruler of Asgard literally asked us to rule over Jotunheim? That literally would have taken a single line to add on.

The child will have to gain the approval of the council and will be born and raised on Jotunheim while having contact with Loki and other members of his family on Asgard to have better relations with Asgard and Jotunheim.

    Well seeing as Thor as forcing our hand here might be better to step down. That said we did plan on having our heir's take the throne and this just speeds up the time table a bit. Until then we can have the council of Jotun rule. Which seems like something they would approve of since they did want the Laufeyson line to continue but to have a Jotun both born and raised on Jotunheim to rule it. I am really glad we took the time to improve relations with the people taking over the council until now.

    Anyway going to trust Egil on this and wait on taking the serum.

    Going to Asgard since it's our home and Sigyn is in danger.

    We hold no power or sway. You should just step down, no conditions and inform them of the new ruler rules. We had them placate and then we pushed it. Should thank them for the time we had to rule

    @KnowledgeKing How does Loki think the Jotun higher ups would take this compromise? It seems like it would make everyone involved happy in that the Jotuns get not only someone from the Laufey line on the throne who would actually be raised on Jotunheim but they would have to get their approval to claim the throne. It can also be justified that Loki would want someone who would at least be sympathetic or have good relations with Asgard. Especially with the trade deal giving them a lot of resources coming from Asgard itself.
