Guys...you should seriously watch out for Hellbindi. He knows about the Exosuit and Serums.

He wants them.

If he knows about them, who says that the Rebels don't know as well? Want to leave it at that?

The DC was in the 850-ish.

I say we give them to Hellbindi, he's Loki's brother & in an alliance with Loki in case people forget. Let's not be all paranoid when Loki is stronger than the rebels.
The rebels aren't exactly hostile either, so we shouldn't escalate.

Turn Twenty-Eight Results
[z] Plan: Loki's PR and Social Bonds
-[z] King
--[z] Meet with the people of Jotunheim personally. DC 50
--- [z] Loki (Tetiary)
Roll: 65

Loki once again meets with the people, and as King, as one who commands respect, the people greet him happily, especially with Hellbindi nowhere to be found. The people clamor around Loki, letting them know how much they appreciate him and the advances he's made in Jotun society. They were finally above Asgard in something again.

--[z] Visit just the General, Hagen. DC 50
--- [z] Loki (Secondary)

Roll: 61

Loki visits the General to get a feel for him and how he looked at Loki and current Jotunheim under his rule. The General is polite, as much as a warrior can be, and admits that Loki's done a fine job of elevating Jotunheim and begrudgingly relays how the tech is...helpful when it comes to fighting.

Loki appreciates his words, and the two continue to talk about the military, about Jotunheim, about life. The General mentions Hellbindi a lot, his strength, his...uniqueness and how he'll both help and hurt Loki in the long run. Loki takes it into consideration.

--[z] Try to get the warriors, the military on your side. DC 65
--- [z] Loki (Primary)
Roll: 153

With General Hagen's support, as well as Hellbindi's and Loki's own strength, the military, the warriors are eager to meet the King. Having seen the results of the open challenge, they all admired his power, and appreciated the new weapons he gave them to fight with. They all bow, honoring Loki as their King and swear themselves to him.

Warriors swear themselves to Loki as King.

--[z] Have an official school of Jotunheim built. DC 50 x3
--- [z] Hellbindi (Tertiary)

Roll: 47
Roll: 20
Roll: 99

Hellbindi advocates for a school to be built in Jotunheim...and it is done. It doesn't happen when he advocates, but it seems the threat of Hellbindi hovering over the populace's heads...seems to 'inspire' them to complete it. And now there is an official school of Jotunheim.

--[z] Build Barracks for military coverage. DC 55 x3
Roll: 8
Roll: 73
Roll: 27

Three attempts are made to build barracks, and only one succeeds. They're built in the middle of the town, amongst the people, for further protection.

--[z] Build an official University of Jotunheim. DC 90
--- [z] Hellbindi (Secondary)
Roll: 136

Hellbindi's will continues to be enforced upon the Jotun people as they also acquiesce to his demand for an official University of Jotunheim, on top of the school. It's built quickly and with the highest of quality they can find, as they try to avoid Hellbindi's wrath.

--[z] See if Laufey had any other children/heirs/family. DC 40 x2
Roll: 14
Roll: 1

Loki tries as much as he can, assigning people to look or Laufey's other family but they always come back empty handed and with less information somehow. By the end of it, there's doubt that Laufey ever even had another family member, and if that person did exist, they're long gone by now. At least that's what reports say.

--[z] Root out the rebels from the government and other organizations. DC ???
--- [z] Osmond (Primary)
--- [z] Hellbindi (Primary)
Roll: 48

One thing Hellbindi cannot enforce his will on is...the rebellion, it seems. Try as he might, he cannot locate anyone specifically who may be part of the rebellion, who seems to want to turn against Loki, openly.

Osmond is busy with other things.

--[z] Make a habitable location for Sigyn x2

Roll: 18
Roll: 24

The attempts at making a habitable location for Sigyn fail terribly. At first, when trying to heat things up for an Asgardian, an area of extreme warmth is made, not fit for...anyone but a Firedemon. The second attempt to fix that, only makes things worse as BOOM! A giant explosion rings out, destroying much of the surrounding area and truly turning the area into a Muspelheim-like area.

A heatwave emanates from the explosion, and every Jotun can feel the effects. It's like the opposite of the Casket of Winters has been used, and Jotunheim is near springtime in weather now. It's very uncomfortable for the people. Hopefully it calms down.

Also any workers on the location, on the habitat, are engulfed by the heat, and live no more.

Morale lowers.
Dissension raises.
Jotunheim's environment heats up.

-[z] Loki
--[z] Send communications to your mother. DC 40
Roll: 52

Loki manages to take some time to send communications, a letter, a call, etc. to his mother, hoping to be able to talk with her. Luckily she answers, and sounds like she is well. She tells Loki about all the exciting things in Asgard, the good things and advancements she's seen, and how she appreciates Amora as a regent, as Odin rests. She gushes about her grandchildren, who she takes time out to see every day, and brags on how bright and wonderful they are. She asks about Loki's life and his work, and he tells her., much to her delight. Despite her facade, Loki can tell she's worried, worried about Odin, and about his unusual state of non-recovery. He assures her that everything will be fine.

--[z] Meet with Amora. DC 50
Roll: 197

Loki and Amora meet as friends, and as King and Queen of Jotunheim and Asgard. They discuss the states of their realms, and their personal lives that they missed last time. They also discuss magic, and have some nice banter on the the advantages of technology vs. magic and vice versa.

Overall it's a good time, and Amora reminds Loki about the Tea Party, and he promises to be there.

--[z] Spend time with your new brother, Hellbindi. DC 80
Roll: 39

Hellbindi doesn't have much time for Loki and vice versa. It's unfortunate that the two brothers can't fit it int heir schedules to hang out together.

--[z] Figure out a way to have children despite the serum. DC ???
--- [z] With Osmond (Primary)
Roll: 58

Loki tries and tries to discern what would be needed to cure the infertility of the serum, and he gets no definite answers. Theories of Binding/Sealing, Shapeshifting, and Transformation prevail, but he doesn't confirm them...until Osmond intervenes and says that he's correct with Shapeshifting and Transformation. Life Magic can also be used.

Transformation and Shapeshifting can be used to get around the Infertility. So can Life Magic.

--[z] See if you can use your Forge to...make something. DC ???

Roll: 1140

Loki uses all of his expertise, his intelligence, and his forging abilities to forge...something. It's really quite impressive what he does make, and it's made out of almost all cold material. An artifact worthy of the Dwarves.

What does Loki make?

[] A crown
[] Armor
[] Gloves
[] Gauntlets

And what effects does he put on them?

You get a +13 for any magic except level 10s, which cost double.
[] [Forge] Write-In

--[z] Reforge Tyr's exosuit. DC ???

Roll: 1455

Loki also takes time out to reforge Tyr's suit, going all out for him, to give him the best. Tyr was right, Loki did owe him, and he'd repay that debt in kind.

What does Loki add on to Tyr's suit?

+16 for any magic, except level 10s, which cost double.
[] [Tyr Exosuit] Write-In

--[z] Relationships: Spend time with some of your favorite people in the world!
---[z] Sigyn
----[z] Give a Nanite Exo-suit to her
----[z] Ask her to move out to Jotunheim with him.
Roll: 22

Loki meets with Sigyn and she seems to be her normal self. The two laugh and converse and confide in each other. However when Loki tries to give her an exosuit, her smile fades. It's well known that Sigyn doesn't like fighting and an exosuit is used for one thing and one thing only. She hesitantly accepts it, but doesn't seem happy. So when Loki asks her to move out to Jotunheim...for the first time ever, Sigyn says no.

It's rare for her, but she explains it well, that an Asgardian cannot survive well in Jotunheim, and overtime would freeze and get progressively weaker and weaker. Before it was with sickness, but with the snap from Thanos...it was unknown what would happen. And she didn't want to hurt Loki by dying because of his decision.

-[z] Company
--[z] Gather information on Alfheim. DC 15
---[z] Generic Assistant
Roll: 39

The assistant comes back with information on Alfheim, how they're very magical and consider magic to be sacred. They look down on technology as trying to subvert the sacred gifts, and look down on science for the same reason. Everything is magic and magic is everything.

As far as business opportunities, there seems to be very little. Magical artifacts could go either way, being seen as sacrilege, or as holy, and they didn't see much use in technology or science, as said above.

--[z] Research Nornheim. DC 5
---[z] 2nd Generic Assistant
Roll: 22

Nornheim is more or less similar, weak in technology, heavy in magic, but nothing is sacred. There isn't a ton of magic outside of Karnilla, and there's a lot of general disarray.

--[z] Improve Security at Phoenix Financial. DC 80
--- [z] Jotunheim.
--- [z] Muspelheim.
--- [z] Midgard.
--- [z] Skrullos.
--- [z] Alfheim.
--- [z] Vanaheim.
--- [z] Nova Corps.

All attempts to increase security...fails. It's unfortunate, and some get closer than others, but none succeed.

--[z] Build a new Phoenix Financial branch.
--- [z] Nornheim. DC 65
----[z] 3 Generic Assistants
Roll: 21

Once again, attempts to make a new Nornheim branch fails.

-[z] Improve the Exosuit. DC 850
--[z] Assistant Elym
Roll: 42

With the monumental failure, things go terribly wrong. A wrong move here, a wrong calculation there...it appears that Elym has been consumed by the nanites. There's nothing left by the time anyone finds her, and everyone is shook besides ironically Osmond who is literally unable to feel negative emotions.

Elym will be missed.

-[z] Make something else. DC ??? (Write-In): Fail Safe systems for PF electronics. (Stops people from maliciously using the suits against Loki)
--[z] 6 Generic Scientists
--[z] Jotun Scientists

Roll: 66
Roll: 169, Nat 100

The original scientists do nothing when trying to make fail safe systems, but the Jotun scientist does great work. Through him, all electronics and suits are fitted with fail sages that stops people from maliciously using them against Loki.

Jotun Scientist is +6 now.

-[z] Lokiforce: Mental Magic

-[z] Other
--[z] Hear him out
Roll: 50

Hellbindi sits in his dark abode, sitting in the shadows. Loki approaches him carefully.

"Ah, so you came, brother. My request is simple...I've seen your work, your exosuits, your serums, and your...bodies. What I want is one of each. I want one of those bodies, made in my own image. I want a serum, and I want an exosuit. Consider it...a make up gift for all the missed birthdays." He finishes with a grin.

Does Loki agree?

[] [Hellbindi] Yes
[] [Hellbindi] No
[] [Hellbidni] Write-In

--[z] Accept.
Roll: 34

Loki allows Torunn to come over to Jotunheim and watch him as he works. She looks on with wide eyes as she peers over the ice-world of Jotunheim, and she seems wary of the Jotuns that surround her at almost all times of the day. She makes it a point to watch the warriors train and even spends some time questioning General Hagen.

Like the rest of everyone else, Torunn finds Hellbindi to be odd, weird, and someone she never wants to see again. When Hellbindi sees her, he flashes his sharp teeth.

"Ah...his daughter. To come to Jotunheim may be...unwise." He says with a lick of his lips. "But don't worry, your Uncle Hellbindi will...protect you."

Torunn keeps her composure, but she all but runs out of his presence, and Hellbindi can only chuckle at the reaction.

--[z] Go.
Roll: 55

The tea party is fun for the most part. It appears that it's Tyr's idea this time, and he's invited Amora, Sigyn, Loki, Egil, Eldir, Sif, Torunn, Balder, and Lorelei. It's sort of interesting to have the Nova Corps leader here in Asgard, in the same party with the Watcher of Asgard, the Queen of Asgard, the Crown Prince of Asgard, and the King of Jotunheim. Even if they all originated in Asgard.

At the party, Loki gifts Tyr his exosuit, and Tyr seems to meet with Eldir and give him something as well. Torunn and Balder stay in a weird no-mans land where they're near each other, and yet near their mothers...who are nowhere near other.

Conversation is interesting, and most of it is apolitical, so that's nice. Lorelei makes it a point to congratulate Loki on becoming permanent King of Jotunheim and informs him that Muspelheim may have found their leader as well...for now.

Sif seems surprised and questions it, but Loki and Amora confirm it. She gives Sigyn a look, but ultimately nods. Tyr tells stories of his time in Nornheim, and in Muspelheim, apparently something about a strong warrior who defeated him no matter what he tried. The warrior was overwhelmingly powerful, akin to Loki himself, according to Tyr. Before he could get much further, something seems to snap in Egil as his eyes glow for a bit and then he turns to everyone.

"Elves. The...it's the Elves!" He breathes out, incredulous. "The Dark Elves are attacking!" Egil taps his glaive on the floor, activating...some kind of alarm that screeches out throughout all of Asgard. "I must return to my post. I apologize." He says with a bow, holding eye contact with Amora and Balder for a moment. He then envelops himself in Dark Magic.

"Wait, take me with you!" Tyr yells, as he jumps in the beam of Dark Magic. Lorelei looks at Sif.

"Is the Valkyrie Commander not going?" She questions. Sif shoots her a look.

"I have a daughter to look after. Besides...my soldiers know what to do." And in that moment that Sif looks away, Torunn activates her exosuit and jumps into the beam, unseen by her mother. But Loki sees it...

Does Loki try to jump in the Dark Magic beam and go with Egil, Torunn, and Tyr?
[] [Asgard Attack] Yes
[] [Asgard Attack] No

Regardless, what are Loki's next moves?

Osmond:
Roll: 61

Osmond stands there, staring out at the sky.

"Loki...Amora has asked me to become the new leader of Nidavellir. She says that with my intelligence, and my technology, I can make it better than the Dwarves ever have. She's right but...I don't necessarily like Amora. Should I...should I do as she's asked me? I want your honest opinon."

Should Osmond become leader/ruler of Nidavellir?
[] [Osmond] Yes
[] [Osmond] No
[] [Osmond] Write-In

--[z] [Torunn] Write-In: Nanite- Exosuit
Roll: 84

Loki gives Torunn an exosuit, much to Sif's chagrin. She allows it, but clearly doesn't approve. Torunn loves it, and begs her mother to let her start fighting and training with her now, and Sif is noncommittal.

Either way, Torunn gives her uncle a big hug, and thanks him for her gift.

--[z] [Balder] Write-In: Ask Egil
Roll: 56

Egil recommends Loki spend some time with Balder, but Loki doesn't have the schedule to do so, especially with Torunn being by his side constantly, and it wouldn't be much of a present if someone else shared it with him...

So Egil suggests Loki instead gives him something to do with magic and nature...so Loki buys him a dragon, a hatchling.

Balder loves it and thanks his Uncle Loki. And he names his dragon Magni and promises to love it and take care of it, and raise it to be strong.

--[z] [Skrullos] Intrigue
Roll: 12

The Skrulls try but fail at increasing their intrigue abilities.

Who says that we don't have spares lying around...
How we never specified that and I was under the impression we only made it when needed. It would defeat the point of Loki being the only one who can make it. Also the thing with our brother, just straight tell him that the magic serum requires an oath as not to set a negative preceedent.

I say we give them to Hellbindi, he's Loki's brother & in an alliance with Loki in case people forget. Let's not be all paranoid when Loki is stronger than the rebels.
The rebels aren't exactly hostile either, so we shouldn't escalate.
...You have an extreme paranoid in regards to Asgard itself and yet you are completely willing to trust a guy we don't even know well and has been called a demon by people. Just because he is related to us by blood doesn't mean it's smart to completely trust him. I mean for gods sake our biological father literally left us to die as a baby. Being related by blood doesn't mean we should naively trust them.

Nah, you're a hypocrite in regards to Lorelei. You wanted to trust a woman who mind controlled Loki, but fear monger about Hellbindi who's been chill so far?
You didn't keep this energy for Thor, so I disagree entirely.

Edit: Can we keep Torunn out of the fight? She's a kid.

If osmond leaves we wont have anyone to help with our rolls. He'll be busy ruling a realm.

Why not?

What the hell it wasn't even a Nat 1 and we not only lost Elym but Jotunheim got a heat wave. What the hell is with this perverse punishment.

Edit' @KnowledgeKing can we check the nanites for her mind? Also what is the safety guidelines because at this point it doesn't seem like we have any.
