Anyway seeing as the QM mentioned that we could take multiple actions in regards to creating the Lokiforce think we should spend four actions to make it likely to pass. Even if it's just the starting point it's been noted that it helps with everything so even basic Lokiforce seems like it would be helpful to have early.

@KnowledgeKing You said we needed a learning action to start making a magic forge and then a magic option. Does the non magical forge action need to be taken first to be able to take the magic forge option afterwards? Want to make sure. Also why does that involve an intrigue option when we are regent?

@KnowledgeKing, what is Thor's reputation at Asgard and the rest of the 7 realms?

Good. He's known as a protector of the realms and overall a powerful warrior. Jotunheim and Muspelheim fear him...and so does most of everyone due to his recent exploits.

Yes.

What intrigue option?

@KnowledgeKing Does Thor have any other children born out of wedlock? Is there anyone that sells gear like the dwarves?

No to both.

Because it's likely the quickest way to gain the Jotun's respect and thus make things a hell lot easier in managing jotunheim. That and instantly showing ourselves to be a very powerful leader.
Their respect isn't that important unless you're planning on being there for a while. And if it's needed, we can always get Amora to force whatever we want. Loki is weakened, and barely stronger than a regular frost giant soldier, probably needs more protection rather than exposing himself to be smacked imo.

If you're planning on staying on jotunheim and claiming full kingship, I'll support that choice, otherwise there's really no point.

No to both.
Can you tell us what Thor chose to sacrifice in exchange for his power increase? And also why he's so mad at Loki for being a frost giant?

Think for Jotunheim we absolutely avoid any military related actions for now since Asgard is suspicious and just work on building up Jotunheim including working on education. The open challenge seems like it would definitely help with getting the Jotun to accept us and considering that we are a super Jotun who is an extremely skilled combatant think we can pull it off. Especially considering that most of the elite were likely already taken out alongside Laufey.

First off we aren't really as weakened as we were since we took the serum to speed up our healing and the QM confirmed that we would be healing throughout the turn so we should be fully healed up mid turn. The reason to gain their respect is because it just flat out makes things easier for us. Having Amora force things is just going to make things more difficult. The Jotun liking us means that things become a lot easier to get through.

What intrigue option?
I mean intrigue DC:

[] See if you could build your own forge! (non-magical) DC 70 Intrigue 55 Learning

Not sure why that should be a thing since we are King at the moment.

[] Adaptive Loki
-[] Hold an open challenge to the throne. DC ???
-- [] Loki (Primary)

The reason for the martial action is to legitimatize Loki in the eyes of Jotunheim. Don't wish for other military actions until I am sure it won't look suspicious by Asgard or Thor.

-[] Meet with the people of Jotunheim personally. DC 55
- [] Loki (Tertiary)
-[] Familiarize yourself with the most respected people in Jotunheim. DC 80
-- [] Loki (Secondary)
These actions are to find hero units and integrate with the politics of Jotunheim. These guys control factions and can make things hard if they don't agree.

-[] Build a factory for mass-producing electronics. DC 65 x2
-[] Make a factory to mass-produce weapons. DC 75 x2
-[] Have an official Jotunheim Library built. DC 65 x2

These are low risk actions that have low DC since we don't have heroes. It helps us prepare for the future by saving AP on building. The library is to promote learning among Jotunheim and progress.

-[] See if Laufey had any other children/heirs/family. DC 40 x2

Possible hero recruitment or rival we have to sniff out.

-[] Bring Jotunheim up to Asgard's understanding of Medicine. DC 85
-- [] Osmond (Secondary)
-[] Elevate Jotunheim's sciences to Asgard's levels. DC 85
-- [] Osmond (Primary)
-[] Improve Jotunheim's technological level. DC 50 x2
- [] Osmond (Tertiary)

We should focus on empowering our specialties and body. The higher the power the more payoff the sacrifice gives. Biology is there for nerve strikes ND to expand to anything we are missing.

I'm wondering why there is an intrigue DC alongside the learning forge. If we were under Odin I'd get it but since not only is he in the Odin sleep but we are King so not seeing why the need for intrigue for getting the Forge up and running.
It to hide it from Asgard, he did say depending on the ruler they would be suspicious of forges, military build up and mages.

Edit: @Mostlyblue we need to legitimatize because they can just refuse the changes and make the DC harder.

[] Attempt to tame Laufey's Frost Beast. DC 95
Taming the former kings beast is probably a good way to earn respect in a martial society.
[] Try to get the warriors, the military on your side. DC 120
Getting on the good side of a major faction in a the nation is also good.
[] Declare yourself King (not just Regent). DC 80
The best way to legitimize Loki's rule, also this gives Loki respect for taking the Throne and will require less use of Amora's force as the queen of Asgard.

Declaring ourselves makes us permanently king, that's not what we want. Taking the beast is good but we aren't taking over permanently and the military faction will be pushing for build up which we can't do or we look suspicious.

Edit: @radioxaxa I don't think we should go for wide scale tech adoption first turn. Ease them in to it and recruit heroes to help push it. Magic is also a no for now because Asgard could react negatively and this isn't a stable period for Jotunheim. Magic might give to much power to unknown actors. Tech is looked down upon and is our best bet to build up under the radar.

I like your King plan, but I think we should try and master Loki-Force considering that not only is the DC lower but that we also get a boost to everything. Also should try and make friends with Habrok again plus get Sif to let us spend time with Torunn again.
