Can Animations last permanently if not broken/tampered? (Like animating a golem butler or something and having him eventually become a named NPC/minion)
Can we animate instantly/mid battle

Well, the difficulty could be scale-able. Start with 1 stick, then as we get better with 1 stick dodging, the DC to increase martial/dodging will go up.

Then we do 2 sticks.

Ideas are simple, get some aid from mother in training since our trainer isn't nearly as impressed or amiable with us as our instructor, so we get the trusted guidance of our mother instead to prove the trainer wrong that we're not pitiable.
We try again to make friends (its the easiest Diplo-action and we shouldn't be resigning ourselves to being a loner just yet, give it another chance, its been 2 years.
All in on trying to be even better at stewardship under father, we've high-rolled it so far so why not?
Try and get more information on the world we've been held up in the palace explore a little even if it is essentially just our backyard.
Try to further impress our Instructor, simple.
Finally, its just better to try and practice whatever magic we pick, we want to go deep not wide, and it just makes sense to spend our time exploring whatever magic we've unlocked.
Edit: Changed to the Frigga Question, has better long term effects now.

Better than what alternative? I think my option where we directly ask Frigga for help learning to control our Magic is perfectly timed so the Amora incident is as fresh in everyone's minds as possible.

Asking questions has no known way of resolving given we have the training under mother action as an example, there will likely be two rolls involved, and that raises our chances of failure as the two rolls mean two chances of failure with only one chance at success. Likely an Intrigue or Diplomacy roll, beside a Learning Roll, instead of a Learning/Magic roll on one dice. Basically the enemy we know over the enemy we don't (not that either is an enemy). Also I can't support your plan, because you don't want to attempt to make any friends, lets not be a complete loner 8-year-old, that only talks to adults and teachers, please.
 
If we ask her for help learning our magic and that roll succeeds, even if the subsequent roll for how well we learn from her isn't as good, asking her to "continue her lessons" should become a new learning action we can do. It's not like we would have to convince her every time afterwards.

@KnowledgeKing A few questions about the alternative options

[] Wibbly Wobbly And Overall Unstable (Prophecy)

Does this mean something like, we can see what a few of the dice rolls are going to be before we vote? Or is it more that, we will see possible ramifications of various actions, and how the DCs are expected to decrease/increase in the future and why?

[] Sharp, Like a Steel Blade (Mind Magic)

Could we copy people's skills/knowledge by reading their mind?
Could this allow for enhancing Loki's mind as opposed to affecting others? Such as a mind vault for organizing thoughts or having "slow time" from being able to think faster, or having a perfect memory which could allow for easier time learning new things?

I think if we wanted to hyper focus on magitech, doing this could be useful for acquiring sheer knowledge of how the world works, which sounds like it could be a good fit for forging.
