It's not going to be invisible. It's still a rainbow beam.

No he just analyzed what it actually was and ran some tests. And like Stark discovered an AI was inside of it.

Because he didn't make it in 2 days like Stark. He waited until he could make sure he could control it/make it loyal. He learned of the Infinity Stone by running tests on the Scepter.

Canon MCU Thanos had no such motivation and no reason to run tests like this one did.
Stark did not in nowhere near discovered AI like that. Nowhere. Have you watched the movie?

He has all the motivation to run test in the MCU. If he could create Ultron then that would be easier then looking for the stones.

Edit: what's the DC to create captain marvel powers using the cube? @KnowledgeKing

Stark already had an AI framework planned and made, and after not being able to realize it he discarded it.
When Banner and Stark were inspecting the sceptre, with the help of JARVIS. They found a set of neurons in the sceptre that looked like a brain. And they used these neurons to fill in the AI program, Ultron. But they kept failing, so JARVIS kept on running simulation after simulation and by a stroke of luck one of these simulations passed and Ultron came to be.
@KnowledgeKing

Edit: So unless Thanos already had an AI and he knew that the Sceptre housed a code which could help him create a quantum AI... It is very unlikely that Thanos would have Ultron-ripoff.

Alright, then by the time the Serum started working would Odin be up soon after? By up I don't mean fully restored but at least enough to communicate?
Didn't I point that out before?
Edit: No, I asked about it before.
Well, could be. Are we sure that Odin would wake up next turn? coz I understand Odin healing from the serum, but waking up from the Odinsleep?

Yes, did you? That's the exact thing he did.

Yes, that's running tests on it. And making an AI from it.

No he doesn't. It's not an expectation that Ultron is in the scepter. He needed to run tests here because he was desperate to save his planet. Canon MCU Thanos is not desperate. He has a clear plan and a method to achieve it. Also Ultron doesn't really make searching for the stones any easier.

Probably another turn tbh. Odinforce has to recover.

Let me ask something, would it be bad for Thanos to attack next turn?
1. Asgardians defences
2. Heroes.
3. No Titan defences
4. The rush to atrack

Edit: @KnowledgeKing what is the DC to create captain marvel abilities?

Yes, I did. I am doing it right now on Netflix. How did you think I wrote the part explaining what Stark and Banner did? without knowing what I was watching? (I know how you are with citations) So I watched the movie, before writing that, you don't take words of Wikia, and now what you won't take the word of the movies?

No, no. That's like running a glucose test on blood and running a calcium test on blood. Both things are way too different. But are being done to a same thing.

You, sir, have fked up. Giving Thanos, so many power-ups, and you forgot to check whether one of them was viable. Oh, boy. This certainly brings a smile to my face.

Let me reiterate here. Stark and Banner knew what they were doing, they had a set of neurons that they got from the sceptre and they were integrating it with an already created AI-program.

Whereas Thanos just got Morpheus like after running a general test on the Sceptre? Is that what you say? Thanos didn't know of the code... he damm well didn't know that he had to find an encrypted code within the sceptre and decrypt it and then fuse that code with an AI framework to give life to Morpheus (And this was a stroke of luck for Stark and Banner, but we won't count it here.)

You messed up.

Eh, should point out that since Titan is a high civ they may already have AI and thus Thanos would have a framework to work from.

Good Sir, I have taken that into consideration.

Edit: Point 1, why would Thanos create a quantum AI through Sceptre if he already had an AI.
Point 2, unless Thanos knew what exactly Mind Stone is or what its basic function is. He won't be trying to find a set of neuron activity on the sceptre to create a quantum AI, like Morpheus.
Point 3 Unless Thanos suddenly hit an Epiphany, that made him deconstruct an AI and change its core with the decrypted code which he (did not) find on the Sceptre. There is no way he would be getting a quantum AI.

What i think he meant is Thanos did not go in to the test to make AI like Tony did but for something to save his people. So unless he started his plan as a way to steal from Loki then it does not make sense he would jump to AI as the solution.

What's point 3? Anyway I think it would depend on the info that Thanos found on the stone. After all the Stones were a known factor among some and there have been cases of people experimenting on them in canon.

I am sorry, I am down with a fever and have a running nose. Editing now.

As mentioned someone may have done before or had an idea to but either was not allowed/banned for some reason and/or didn't end up going through with it for say ethical concerns.

Then the Plot armour is thicker than ever, coz QM clearly mentioned that Thanos, ran a test on the Sceptre and got Morpheus in return.

And yes, someone could have experimented on the Mind Stone and found that brain-wave frequency, that set of neurons, that act as the base of Ultron. So I ask in return, where is the previous awakened quantum AI?

No I didn't. I knew all of that and that falls under "running tests". Yes the code would be discovered and so would the neuron-likeness of it.

And I determined that he'd make an AI out of it. Especially since he's at least as smart as Stark and Banner and has more time.

So no mess up. I knew exactly what I did. And would stand by it. Over and over again. And I wouldn't change it.

You just kinda added unnecessary details tbh. Stark arguably just ran 'generic' but extensive tests. No reason Thanos doesn't do the same or more. Stealing resources was always going to be a thing. One way or another. The scepter just gave him the best way.

So unless he started his plan as a way to steal from Loki then it does not make sense he would jump to AI as the solution.

Which he did.

Edit: @KnowledgeKing what is the DC to create captain marvel abilities?

In the hundreds. Mid hundreds.

@KnowledgeKing Is the tablet fully explored comparable to captain marvels abilities?

Edit: with the roll mechanic for king, when we crit does the reroll include the characters that were put towards the action?
If we take the research Infinity stone option multiple times does the result combine?
Can we have Osmond put everything on a closed network when he is doing any research?

So Thanos, discovered this encrypted code... and he went like, why not implement this in an AI framework? No Logic, no rhyme. Just use this code that I found as a personality matrix for an AI? Is this what Thanos did? And you stand by it?
(Remember the running test, and implementation was done by JARVIS, another natural AI.)

Nope, I added no unnecessary detail.
Stark and Banner already had an AI planned out with no core matrix for it to function.
Whereas Thanos, just got Morpheus after running a test on the sceptre.

@KnowledgeKing

It could be. Not with like energy powers though.
Crit only includes the highest modifier.
No but it's cumulative.
You can try to ask him to, though there's no real reason for Loki to do so.

@KnowledgeKing can we steal learn ice magic?

You could.

...He then decrypted it. Found the neuron-like structure. Said hey, this could be used in my plans of taking resources. As an AI. It'd make it a lot easier.

And remember, Jarvis was needed to do it in less than a week. Thanos had years.

So Thanos picked this risky brain wave pattern over a standard AI, why again? (You do know how fishy this seems, right?)
And why didn't this AI go Ultron?

Yes, that's why I mentioned JARVIS.

Yes, that's why I mentioned JARVIS.

Because it came from the Mind Stone and he wanted to further study it. It didn't go Ultron because he made sure of it before he implemented it.

But...JARVIS is irrelevant since Thanos had more time.

Lets not have the peace conference next turn. After the other realms hear of Asgard failing to defend one of its protectorates then bets are off. We not even retaliating at all, this turn the dwarfs next turn the mages. We are giving him 5 more years to advance Ultron and build bodies to replenish the ones lost in this fight while we do nothing.

Especially since he's at least as smart as Stark and Banner and has more time.
Um, not to rude or anything, but we are talking about the guy who's first reaction to depleting resources was "Better kill half of everyone!" And then when people from the future show him how much that backfired, he decided to reset the universe just so he could do the exact same thing but without people bitching about it.

He's not exactly a super-genius, is what I'm trying to say.
