We can't get the power stone right now, the water in that planet has to receed for us to get to those ruins. That's the reason why it took so long for Thanos to find it.
We still have to wait until the time of guardians of the Galaxy to get it. We really need to visit Odin's library. I want to know all the treats and secret s Asgard has.

Mean, Thanos wasn't particularly in a rush and even if tech alone isn't good enough we got magic to back us. We apparently already have the Space Stone, so we could always teleport it out.
Still, the Power Stone would be probably the easiest for us to collect. The Time & Mind Stones are owned by powerful groups, the Reality Stone is in a pocket dimension, and the Soul Stone involves giving up something we truly love.
We still have to wait until the time of guardians of the Galaxy to get it. We really need to visit Odin's library. I want to know all the treats and secret s Asgard has.

Another problem is that it's OOC knowledge. Loki doesn't know about the stones. I guess we can build a sensor for powerful artifacts but God knows what we will bump in to. Actually now that I think about it, how did Hela know there were more stones last quest?
Then when we have free time why not explore it? I mean, unless we fear someone observing our steps (Thanos or any powerhouse) we have nothing to fear. Yet.

-[z] As King
--[z] Promote Amora to Head of Magic. DC ???
---[z] Amora (Secondary)
---[z] Lorelei (Secondary)
Roll: 52.5
The crowd goes mild as Amora has been promoted to the new Head of Magic. Everyone accepts it, though her and her sister announcing it to everyone did her no favors. It's only once the acting King, Loki, confirms it, does everyone truly believe her. She's relatively unknown however so a lot of people see it as favoritism, which doesn't make Amora very happy at all. She was cast out by the royal family after all, how could it possibly be favoritism?
--[z] Train new soldiers for the army. DC 30.
---[z] Erling (Tertiary)
---[z] Sif (Tertiary)
Roll: 35.6
Bare success!
Sif and Erling are focused on far more important things than training new soldiers. Like getting the current ones up to snuff. As a result, there's not too many new soldiers being trained and added to the ranks, as adding new, weak soldiers, doesn't really mesh well when the current ones need to be improved.
A handful of new soldiers are added. Numbers are not yet replenished.
--[z] Train the current army and improve their capabilities. DC 70 x2
---[z] Thor (Primary and Secondary)
---[z] Erling (Secondary)
---[z] Sif (Primary and Secondary)
---[z] Tyr (Primary and Secondary)
First Roll: 185
Second Roll: 54.5
Thor, flatout ignores the 'weak King' as he calls him, and continues doing his own thing of...Odin-knows-what. So it hurts the training of the current army, just a little. But Sif is not one to be counted out or denied, and with Tyr, the former commander's help, they do manage to make some ground. By the end of it, the soldiers wish for reprieve, but she will give them none.
Perhaps...she should however as they quickly get worn out. But despite that small...hiccup (weakness is what she calls it with a sneer), Sif gets results.
Average Asgard soldier is now 19 in Martial, up from 17.
--[z] Train up new pilots for the ships. DC 50
---[z] Thor (Tertiary)
---[z] Tyr (Tertiary)
Roll: 65.667
Again, Thor refuses to do something so trivial as train pilots. He has 'real work' to do, he claims. In fact, since that request, Loki doesn't see Thor at all in the proceeding five years...but he has more important things to worry about. Like Asgard itself.
Without Thor, Tyr still manages to train up some new pilots, now having an abundance, as there are actually slightly more pilots to ships. That'd have to be remedied soon.
--[z] Get a report of the going ons in the Nine Realms. DC 60
---[z] Hogun (Secondary)
---[z] Fandral (Tertiary)
Roll: 31.5
A bad failure.
Perhaps Hogun and Fandral weren't the best to get a report from or...maybe he had them doing too much. Either way the crown gets nothing outside of 'Jotunheim=cold' and 'Muspelheim=hot' from the report. It's downright terrible and useless.
--[z] Incorporate Magic as part of the every day Soldier's training DC 85 x3
---[z] Amora (Primary)
---[z] Loki (Primary)
---[z] Eir (Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary)
First Roll: 584
An incredible success! Divine.
Loki being a magician himself, sees the value in having magic be a part of Asgard's military might. Besides the Bifrost, it was the one advantage they had over the other technologically advanced worlds that weren't in the Nine Realms. And so he gets with Amora and Eir to teach the soldiers how to use magic, and incorporate it into their combat. And along the way, Loki manages to learn a few things himself.
Soldiers get 7 Magic added to their stat. Choose the Magic (Point Buy). Example would be
[z] Mind Magic (3)
[z] Binding Magic (1)
[z] Healing Magic (3)
So the points need to add up to 7.
Choose.
[] Mind Magic (up to 7)
[] Enchantment (up to 7)
[] Binding (Up to 3)
[] Healing (up to 6)
[] Teleportation (1)
[] Defensive Magic (up to 7)
Loki gains Binding/Sealing up to 5/5 (Martial)
Second Roll: 55.5
Failure.
Third Roll: 9.33
A horrendous, terrible failure.
However, once Eir is left to it on her own...it doesn't have the same effect. Whether it's the soldiers having trouble respecting her or her magic ability, or if its her inability to really use her power in combat and to fight...It just doesn't work. At all. It's clear Eir has no business trying this on her own.
--[z] Fortify Asgard's Defenses. DC 60
---[z] Volstagg (Tertiary)
Roll: 82
A success.
Volstagg does good work fortifying Asgard's defenses. Turrets are better protected by better built walls, the shield generator and observatory have thicker walls, and turrets now protecting them, and the palace have personal turrets as well. It's all made easier by the advancements in technology, but credit is still due.
--[z] Place sanctions on Titan and all who work with them. DC 50 (Cannot be done multiple times)
---[z] Ylva (Primary)
---[z] Erling (Primary)
Roll: 63+20+17=100, CRIT, 37+20=57 (157)
A great success!
With the guidance of Loki's old trainer and his old teacher, Asgard is able to easily place sanctions on Titan, citing their attack (put in politicalese) as the cause. Further more, Asgard places sanctions on any allies of Titan, and any who would ally with their allies. Normally, one could maybe live without Asgard, but with Phoenix Financial being subject to said sanctions, everyone quickly abides. Titan is as Asgard wants it. Isolated, with nary a friend on its side.
--[z] Make a public speech to boost morale. DC 40
---[z] Sigyn (Secondary)
---[z] Loki (Tertiary)
239.666667
An incredible success! Divine.
Sigyn is good at helping people. Loki knew this before, and he is officially reminded of it again when the two make their speech, as King and Queen, to boost the morale of Asgard. Thanks to Sigyn, they do a lot more than just boost morale, but also productivity, and faith in the crown and the new King and Queen. Sigyn does such a good job that even Loki himself feels better...despite his mess ups and issues with Thanos, his parents being crippled and maimed, and his pet and friend having its neck snapped. Wow. That's a lot to unpack. But still, Sigyn's words helped immensely. And looking out into the crowd, he can see that it did the same for many many others.
Public Opinion is swung very hard to Loki and Sigyn's side.
--[z] Have a day of memorial for the fallen men and women. DC 50
---[z] Sigyn (Primary)
---[z] Loki (Secondary)
---[z] Ylva (Tertiary) (Getting advice, as someone who has personally seen Odin/Frigga rule for much longer than Loki has)
Roll: 50+8.66667=58.666667
The memorial isn't a smashing success, but it isn't a failure either. For most, it's obvious that the wounds are too fresh, and even for Loki, that much is true. Still, despite all of that, it's something that is necessary, and thus...it happens. Nothing more, nothing less. Maybe it will give the men and women peace in Valhalla or wherever they should lie.
--[z] Officially marry Sigyn and make her queen. DC 15
---[z] Sigyn (Tertiary) (Getting her approval/help setting it up)
Roll: 22
Bare success.
Announcing Sigyn as Queen doesn't sit right with many in Asgard, as the old Queen, Frigga, had just got hurt, and maimed, and it looked too much like a takeover of sorts. Loki was their hero, so no one suspected him much, but suspicion did fall on Sigyn herself. It didn't last long however, due to how sweet she is and how much she is willing to help any and everyone, but the beginning is definitely shaky.
Either way, the wedding was beautiful, and even Thor showed up for a small moment (in his armor) to murmur a congratulations and then take off with his swinging hammer.
Sigyn is Loki's wife. And thus is acting Queen.
--[z] Implement the new discovery of electronics to all of Asgard. DC 65
---[z] Osmond (Primary)
---[z] Ylva (Secondary)
---[z] Elym (Primary)
---[z] Lorelei (Primary)
Roll: 882.5 God. Titanic. Leviathanic success!
Only a short while ago did Osmond aid in discovering electronics at all, and shown Loki their use. Computers, programming, AI, and more were discovered to try to help the customers at Phoenix Financial, and Loki and Osmond had a thought of making an electronics section to Phoenix Financial, and ruling the market. That...is now not even close to possible. By order of the crown, Osmond gathers his team, his 'friend' Elym, his old teacher, and his co-worker Lorelei, all bright people, to help guide Asgard to a new age.
They...may have skipped a step.
Somehow in the short five years, in only half a decade, Asgard has become completely computerized and integrated with electronics. Every citizen has a computer, the crown has a supercomputer or 5, ships have automatic controls, as do turrets, weapons have trackers on them, there is automatic detection in the walls and doors, and even the shield generator has an automated and manual (but ranged) electronic component. It was done so well, that Osmond is able to expand the scope of some of the areas of their electronic, automated lifestyle, and he presents them to Loki, to the King, to decide.
Choose up to 5 points.
[] EMP weapons (1)
[] Authorization Systems (And Clearance Levels) (1)
[] Weapon Guidance Systems for Turrets (1)
[] Electronic Weapon and Armor Locks (2)
[] Electronic Ship Locks (2)
[] Electronic-based Turret Locks (2)
[] EMP shielding (3)
[] A Railgun (3) (Multiple is 5)
[] Self-Piloting Ships (3)
[] Remote-Piloted Ships (4)
[] Auto-Fighting Weapons and Armor (4)
[] Electronically/Computer/Remote controlled Bifrost (5)
--[z] Train a specialized group of soldiers (invasion, stealth, defense, assassination, destabilization, range only, etc.) DC 75
---[z] Volstagg (Primary)
Roll: 51
Volstagg attempts to train a specialized group of defense soldiers but they're far too tired, exhausted from Sif and Tyr's prior training to learn or do much of anything. Perhaps next time they should coordinate this...
--[z] Do a rundown of Asgard's Strengths and Weaknesses militarily. DC 70
---[z] Fandral (Primary)
---[z] Volstagg (Secondary)
---[z] Lorelei (Tertiary)
Roll: 71.6667
Bare success!
Fandral is put at the head of the project, to give the King a rundown of Asgard's Strengths and Weaknesses. He's allowed to employ others to aid, and of course he picks his good friend Volstagg. It's almost baffling to Loki that he chooses Lorelei as well, but then he remembers Fandral from his class...he could never resist a pretty face.
As it is, the three do...adequate work. Very adequate work. As of right now, Loki knows that Asgard is lacking in manpower from a numbers standpoint. Which is obvious, and something that likely won't change. They also rely a lot on close combat, which makes some sense given their enhanced strength and durability (when compared to others).
Asgard is great at their formations and generally had/have good defensive capabilities with Heimdall/the guardian, the Destroyer, and the shield around the palace. But a weakness in this, is that the citizens/the city doesn't have much protecting it.
There's also little in anti-orbit weapons and defense.
--[z] Set up Anti-Theft Measures on Asgard's Valuables. DC 65
---[z] Hogun (Primary)
---[z] Fandral (Secondary)
---[z] Osmond (Secondary)
---[z] Elym (Secondary)
Roll: 92
Success.
With electronic technology being spread everywhere, this becomes simple. Though the physical approach of Hogun isn't to be underestimated. Due to his leadership on this, Asgard's most valuable items are chained down inside the vault, and the vault is given heavier doors and chains on them as well. It takes about five men to move one door now. Due to the technological revolution and Osmond and Elym's involvement, there is now detection in the vault, and on the items, as well as proper tracking on them.
Stealing things just got a bit harder in Asgard.
--[z] Get an expert to look over and increase Asgard's security. DC 75
---[z] Osmond (Tertiary)
---[z] Elym (Tertiary)
Roll: 25.33333
A terrible failure.
Osmond and Elym aren't...people persons. Nor are they fighters of any kind. So asking them to get an expert to secretly look at and increase Asgard's security is...a nightmare to say the least. First, they drive off the expert himself, before he ever sets foot on Asgard. They do this by degrading him every step of the way, and comparing living beings to computers, which are obviously better in every way. Then, they try to do the security observations themselves and...they are terrible.
Sighing, Loki has to throw out their support completely.
--[z] Look for any possible rebels or anything of the sort inside of Asgard. DC 50
---[z] Hogun (Tertiary)
---[z] Amora (Tertiary)
Roll: 91
Hogun and Amora are a pretty good team. At least in weeding out the rebels. As of Sigyn's speech, there doesn't exist much, besides a small fringe group, and even they have quieted down their rhetoric and seem to support the crown again. Dissension is at a low for now so Loki doesn't make a move, but he does keep an eye on the former rebels in case they begin to act again. Some have existed since Odin, some were new with Loki's reign. None of them are currently rebelling. Good.
-[z] As Loki
--[z] Finance a new Business. DC ??? (Depends on the business)
---[z] DARPA (Something like the US govt. version)
----[z] With Sigyn (Primary)
Roll: 93
Loki's personal wealth can go far but...it can't go above and beyond what people are willing to do. He puts a lot of money into his new business: one to discover new innovations for Asgard. However, despite the building and the business plan, and the good intentions...very few seem up to doing that. Everyone has their own agenda it seems, and working to innovate for Asgard surprisingly isn't one of them. Osmond is his only support, but he rather work at his lab it seems.
Barebones infrastructure for DARPA-like business. Not any employees besides staff to upkeep the building. No innovators outside of Osmond. And he works alone AND in Phoenix Financial.
--[z] Ask Sigyn to learn how to heal. DC 2
Roll: 176
Loki and Sigyn have a good conversation about her capabilities as far as magic go. Right now she is working on learning to defend herself...literally with her magic. When Loki expresses a want for her to learn to heal others, Sigyn perks up and seems very interested. When he mentions the hurt and injured soldiers, she becomes determined. And when he suggests learning from Eir and clearly thinks about his maimed parents...well it is now Sigyn's very mission in life at the moment.
+1 Diplomacy to 27
Sigyn sees it as her mission to learn healing.
--[z] Visit Hábrók as he attempts to heal. DC 50
---[z] With Sigyn (Secondary)
Roll: Nat 1
27+15=42
Sigyn and Loki mean to visit Hábrók, they really do it's just...so many things come up. Loki hopes his pet would understand, but it seems the roc knows or cares nothing of his new responsibilities. It gets bad when they literally visit the room next to him, checking on some of the injured soldiers and civilians, and forget to stop by and even say hi, hurting the roc's feelings. And now...now doctors say his recovery has slowed and he's unresponsive to food and drink for the majority of the day, only taking in enough to stay alive.
Loki is crushed and feels terrible, and Sigyn is besides herself. Hábrók did not survive having his neck snapped by a monster, just for...for this.
Hábrók is angry and sad and not recovering well now.
--[z] Build Osmond his lab. DC 50
---[z] With Osmond (Secondary)
Roll: 471
A god-like success!
Loki is good at funding and building things, and Osmond is...not. Osmond knows nothing about costs or expenses, and only knows what he needs and what he wants and...in this case it helps Loki to build his lab to perfection. With his help, Loki gains the materials needed, specs out the size of the building, as well as the staff, and other things, and he manages to make something that would be envied by scientists everywhere.
Not only does Osmond have a lab, but he has a specialized lab inside of his lab, for each branch of science. If Osmond does work at the lab, it's much easier than anywhere else, and the resources are immense. And even if he doesn't, his trusty staff of mini-Osmonds will likely produce results anyways.
Osmond's Lab adds +20 to his roll for science.
On it's own, the Lab will produce science in at least one branch with a roll of 50 (It increases with each discovery in that branch of science) It gets a +25 Learning stat to every roll.
--[z] Figure out what the items in Odin's Treasury do. DC 50
---[z] With Osmond (Primary)
Roll: 59
For all of his genius and curiosity concerning science, Osmond has very little...interest in figuring out what ancient and powerful items do. Go figure. However Loki, as his friend (not his King this time), manages to rope him into helping him figure out what things do.
The list so far goes:
Casket of Winters: It's cold, it produces cold, and lots of it. Some say the Jotuns could cause an ice age with it, but Loki and Osmond haven't unlocked such yet. Loki's blue scars react to it very strongly. It caused Osmond's eyes to light up, but he said nothing.
Warlock's Eye: Mind Magic that works based on the victim's power/strength. One would have to be careful not to catch themselves. Osmond scoffs at this one.
Tuning Fork: It summons something...something powerful and dark. But Loki didn't want to experiment too much with it. Osmond pays it no mind.
Eternal Flame: An everlasting Fire. It comes from Surtur and his people and will boost Surtur's power back to the level of the All-Father. It may have other properties of healing. Osmond looks at it curiously, but does nothing more.
Tesseract: A cube of infinite power. It's not magic and constantly radiates powerful energy. It seems to have something to do with teleportation and space. Osmond was very interested in it.
Tablet of Life and Time: It carries an inscription of a formula of some kind. It's unknown what the formula does and Loki's not willing to test it. This had Osmond's attention the most. He almost couldn't be torn away from it.
-[z] Other
--[z] No
Of course Loki isn't going to talk to that madman. Why would he? He...he's getting something, a message trying to come through on Gungnir, one beckoning him to see what's happening with the Destroyer's old, severed head (it had a new one, courtesy of the Dwarves). Would he heed the call?
[] Sure, see what Thanos wanted
[] No. He was insane. Leave him be.
--[z] Discuss away
What Osmond wanted to discuss has already been fulfilled. Now Osmond has a simple request. To run some tests on some, if not all, of the items in the vault. It would be very...scientific. Does Loki approve?
[] Yes, Osmond can run tests.
[] No, Odin locked them up for a reason.
--[z] Listen to it
Amora sighs as she sits next to Loki, looking off into the stars.
"I'm sorry, my King I...what I was going to propose...I had no idea you and Sigyn were so close." She gives a tight, strained smile. "It was nothing more than a marriage proposal, to get...don't worry about it." She shakes her head. "Thank you for your time, my King." She bows.
--[z] Security
Sigyn follows Loki's word and beefs up security. First she does so physically at the branches, and she hires another group of one hundred guards, this time from the Nova Corps.
We should definitely consider getting on the Nova Corps' good side, and perhaps collect the Power Stone since well... literal infinite power would do us a lot of good running Asgard's technology.
There is a reason that the power stones are all kept in different locations. Putting all your eggs in one basket and all. Besides that am wary of overly relying on the stones since it could lead to stagnation tech wise.

I mean, if we have the Power Stone, why would we need to improve energy/power tech? The Power Stone is literally infinite clean energy, so the only thing we would need to worry about is making tech capable of handling immense power without exploding. Really, by necessity we would need tech that makes overloading our stuff to bypass/destroy impossible.
Plus, people studying the Space Stone were able to make incredible technology without relying on it. Heck, we could make our own Captain Marvel just by toying with it long enough- and having a Captain Marvel would be huge for us.
Let him run tests in the tablet of life, he likes that tablet.
Super Soldiers!!
We should really figure out what Thor is doing, I'm kinda scared he is going to cause a diplomatic incident.
Defensive? Asgardian Armor and Shields are enchanted. Idk if you need more Defensive than that, unless you are making them tank a missile.
Teleportation on the other hand is a skill that can differentiate between life and death.
Surprised people don't want Electronically/Computer/Remote controlled Bifrost, given how important the Bifrost is. Would of made things a lot easier during the invasion, that's for sure.
