I am being humorous...As I said SV dice either go high or low, you certainly got the high block. And please lets not relate what dice get rolled beside a plan with the success of the plan. Its humorous but not prescriptive.
HOLY OVER REACTION BATMAN thor did NOT scalp Amaura, he cut her hair, this aint abuser in training, this is DUMB ASS KID SHIT, like if you don't seem to grasp that kids do ill thought out stupid shit, you do not understand childrenWHAT IS EVEN THE FUCK THOR????????
EDIT: Fuck doing anything with Thor. Pranks, friendship, training, any of that shit, fuck it. This isn't just "boisterous older brother", this is "abuser in training" shit here and I am beyond frustrated the adults did fucking nothing about Thor fucking scalping a girl.
Like, fuck me, Frigga, where the hell are you???
Does the action [] Exercise, increase your strength, speed, and stamina, DC 35 lower other physical actions if it succeeds?
Does the action [] Pay extra attention to your Classes and try to excel! DC 15 lower learning actions if it succeed?
Will this action [] Study the classmates you don't know. Get the full rest of the picture. DC 15 allow Loki to figure out why he is disliked? @KnowledgeKing
Yeah, Thor just cut a girls hair, not scalp her. Kids do stupid stuff like that all the time.HOLY OVER REACTION BATMAN thor did NOT scalp Amaura, he cut her hair, this aint abuser in training, this is DUMB ASS KID SHIT, like if you don't seem to grasp that kids do ill thought out stupid shit, you do not understand children
He asked if it does and you said "yes but it doesn't?"
Thor forcibly cut her hair. This wasn't some cutesy "oh can you be my hairdresser" thing, this was Thor having fun at the expense of someone weaker by doing something to their body against their will.HOLY OVER REACTION BATMAN thor did NOT scalp Amaura, he cut her hair, this aint abuser in training, this is DUMB ASS KID SHIT, like if you don't seem to grasp that kids do ill thought out stupid shit, you do not understand children
I don't think kids do that or properly parented kids anyway. I never did anyrhing like that when I was little and my brother didn't, we just knew that wasn't acceptable behavior because mom was strict and we were thought that from young. I think a strict parent wouldn't produce someone that would do that period.so knight is proving that he just does not understand how stupid kids can be
*Edit* also he's acting like frigga wont tell him why he can't and shouldn't ever do that again, but thats par for the course with this thread
And Kids from a Superpowered alien (for Earth) Kingdom where some rules and laws are from the 9th century and Men rule?I don't think kids do that or properly parented kids anyway. Does men really rule because Frigga wipes Odin like a dog in private, maybe they just don't rule in public. All she got to do is say your sleeping on the coach tonight and it is over. And Kids from a Superpowered alien (for Earth) Kingdom where some rules and laws are from the 9th century and Men rule?
My only fear is that if we roll low, perhaps Loki becomes reliant on being around Frigga and gets a negative trait related to that...-[X] Personal: Relationships: Spend time with some of your favorite people in the world! (Mother)
I don't wish to risk it getting worse, I think Loki should take a break to sort himself out. Lets deal with Odin first to get him sorted out, and hopeful improve the relationship and if it doesn't then not a lot of harm. Also him as a stewardship option is only a 5 difference but the reward would be greater because it is a named character. We should also awaken magic because we can not learn it from books. Also will not get a negative trait unless the dice roll is a massive failure like the one with Thor. Two hours are up.
[X] Plan: Low DC Loki
-[x] Study: So you could be a great tactician instead? A general even.
--[x] Strategy, DC 20
Willing to swap this, but its the lowest DC right now. And could be an alternative option if training continues failing, to lead from the war room.
-[x] Bring a present to the instructor or trainer, it couldn't hurt to have them like you more. DC 12
-[x] Request Lessons from the Instructor on finance and how to run the kingdom. Surely he'd listen! DC 50
-[x] Pull pranks on Thor. Those were always fun, and he never saw them coming! DC 15
-[x] Pay extra attention to your Classes and try to excel! DC 15
-[x] Ask a question: Ask Frigga why Thor, Odin, and every person on the <classmate list> do not like you.
Let's address Loki's loneliness before it becomes a negative trait like Baby Brother.
Apparently, failing by even less then a margin of 10 bumps our DC, so rolling too low on any action carries risk. At this point, I'm trying to build a plan based on what I want to happen rather than strict metagame risk mitigation. My only fear is that if we roll low, perhaps Loki becomes reliant on being around Frigga and gets a negative trait related to that...
Actually that would be hilarious.
I am just scared that twice in a row will cause as many problems as failing horribly but I do agree otherwise.[X] Now with Feeling
- [X] Train: The expectations haven't changed
-- [X] Hand to Hand, DC 35
- [X] Make friends during your lessons...and during training! DC 30
- [X] Request Lessons from the Instructor on finance and how to run the kingdom. Surely he'd listen! DC 50
- [X] Pull pranks on Thor. Those were always fun, and he never saw them coming! DC 15
- [X] Pay extra attention to your Classes and try to excel! DC 15
- [X] There was...something in you. You could feel it. Try to tap into that. DC, ??
We should try and get some ability in combat, and hand-to-hand is more interesting than sword, the difference is minor, also we have to put down Megathor for is barbaric actions. We need friends we have a few options, and with young children sometimes persistence is key (I mean really its just horrid rolls but narrative justification). Because Loki needs and outlet and Thor was a jerk we prank him, that its can raise our intrigue makes it even better to prank. Though that intrigue action forces the Instructor lessons because that is the remaining easiest. Gets our basics down, and finally, we've studied magic, heard about another student spontaneously developing it, let's try to obtain our own.
