An amazing comeback for the dreams happened on SB last night. So that option won along with the sisters I think once everything was tallied together.

Year 4 - Smarter Than Me, A Game of Tag

    • Time passed, and you think you mastered enough of the language by now. Some things doesn't have a proper equivalent word on the waking world, so you came to use the words they used, like 'magecraft' or 'prana' and 'mana', alongside the 'magic circuits'.

    Now, you are young but you don't think you're a dummy. So when you heard the old man saying you need to open your circuits, you wondered why dream you thought that meant creating magic circuits. It worked, sort of, but it gave the impression to the old man that you were really, really bad at magecraft. Which in a sense might be right, since you managed to confuse open with create.

    Named Shirou in the dream world, you train by doing something called 'meditation'. It took a while to figure out that there was something different to just sitting still and doing nothing for a long time. Slowly, you figured out that you should watch your breath and try to listen to your power inside you. It's hard to listen to it, but dream you does his best until he managed to create the circuit, though you can feel the agonizing pain that was that action. The old man said that to be a magus, someone who studies magecraft, is to 'walk with death'. Well, that does explain where the saying comes from, even if the moron dream you are clearly doing something wrong.

    During the day you thought that, while dream you was a moron, maybe you could learn what he does? Hopefully without all that pain.

    So you sit still and try to listen to your breathing and find the power within you. At first nothing happens, not on the first, or the second or even the first week, but you continue as even dream you didn't managed on his first few tries.

    One day however when you were 'meditating', you let your mind wander away into various things until you felt something different inside you. You became too excited and that feeling faded, so you tried again, calmly this time and paying attention to what you were feeling like dream you did. Once more you let your mind wander and soon, you felt something different. It wasn't the feeling of your body, the darkness of your closed eyes, the warmth of the sun or the breeze on your face. It was a strange warmth, for lack of better word.

    It was you, pure and simple.

    A hammer strikes the base of your neck where spine and skull meet, and you feel the warmth you had before spreading through your body and you feel incredible.

    "Hah!" 'Take that dream me', you cheer, 'I'm smarter than me!'

    "Hey sis, sis, sis! Look look!" You say to her while trying to find her, "I'm smarter than me!"

    "That's nice Jaune." Said Olivia where she was seated doing homework, "at least you can outsmart yourself."

    "Yay!"

    "Are you sure it's right for us to have him start learning this early? He's only three and a half." Said Violet to her older sister. "I mean, Bianca started when she was five, but she's special."

    "Nah, what's the worst that could happen?" Said Indigo, "it should help him focus and prevent him from being bored. Besides it will be mostly drawing than actual writing and reading."

    "And you're saying that because you don't want to watch him over, right?"

    Indigo looked offended. "I will let you know that I like watching my younger brother!"

    "Well, at least he likes to play with cars. Though you should go after Sapphire and Emeralda since they keep having him play house."

    "Ugh, don't mention that. They already have Azure as a little sister, they don't need another."

    "Hey Azure, want to play?" You asked your sister, and she nodded after a moment. "Let's play tag!"

    As you two started to run away, it became clear that it was harder for her to tag you, so sometimes you slowed down and let her win, but not without giving her a good workout. You didn't wanted your sisters to become lazy like your dream sister Taiga.

    "Hey, what are you two doing?" Asked Olivia before Azure put her hand on Olivia and saying she's it. "Oh, tag huh? Well, I will show you who's best at this!"

    Five minutes later Violet and Indigo showed up. "Playing tag, can we join?" Olivia nodded, and they resumed their run around the house. Soon Bianca, Sapphire and Emeralda joined the game, until you figured out something was a bit off on this game.

    "AAAAHHHHH!!!" You screamed running as fast as you could from the seven girls after you.

    "Get him! How come he wasn't caught this far?" Yelled Indigo hot on your heels.

    "He's not supposed to be this fast!" Agreed Bianca while both she and the triplets tried a pincer maneuver, but you managed to escape by rolling on the ground.

    Azure for her part just huffed and puffed as she ran away before she got tired to chase after you, and you saw her eyes start to water. Taking pity on the girl you approached her and hugged her, which she giggled in delight. "Tag! You're it Jaune!"

    "Do you think we should send them to school?" Asked your mother one of those days to your father. "Or should we keep homeschooling them?"

    "I think it's better to continue homeschooling them for now." Replied Jacques. "When they reach a certain age we can send them to either a primary school or a combat school. I know you don't want to pressure them into becoming hunters, but there are plenty of professions that would benefit from having went through at least preparatory combat schools."

    Scathach sighed. "Maybe I just want them to live in more peaceful times, but with the way the world is, it almost feel like a criminal negligence not to teach them how to fight in some manner. The older girls are already showing interest in becoming huntresses."

    Her husband hugged her from behind, and she leaned on his embrace. "That's because you're such a wonderful role model dear."

    "Flattery will get you nowhere."

    "Really now? Last I checked it gave me eight children."

    Things are different on your fifth year of life. Things became busier, and you started to do grown up stuff, like studying. That's what happens when you're a bright little kid.

    Your parents wants to teach you a form of play called 'exercising', which is basically moving around with a few rules and that you need to repeat several times. Sounds fun, and dream you also does that by now.

    Your parents want you to accompany your sisters to a play date with other kids. It's the first time you will see people outside your family and the family doctor.

    [ ]Stewardship
    Bianca call it Math 010, or basic numbers. Not only that but you also learn how to take care of the house, like cleaning it and helping around. Weird combination, but dream you did all of that.

    Azure wants to take the last cookie from the Jar, but needs your help! Indigo wants to avoid her older sisters from putting her into dresses and needs your help!

    More studying, but this time it is more than math. It's history, geography, sciences and literature.
