Theory:
The 'handyman' skill will help Jaune/Shirou later in life when he has the tools and knowledge necessary to make his own weapon. Doing so could potentially add another ability to UBW... if it's possible to unlock that in this life-time.

You improved your skills in your dual wielding style, and even learned a bit of other fighting styles, notably the spear from your mother, but somehow you felt like you weren't at the level you're supposed to be.

"Can I help mom?" You asked your mother once in the kitchen, and she just looked at you, before looking at the counter.

"Oh, alright. Can you wash the rice for me dear?" You nodded and took a stool, washing the rice.

So it went, day after day, with you helping her a little bit more. Since you could handle a sword and had aura, she allowed you peel vegetables and cut them. It was oddly soothing to help her in the kitchen, sometimes with some of your other sisters helping you.

"Looks like my son took after his mother~", said your mother to your father one of those days.

He grumbled something under his breath that you couldn't quite hear, but enjoyed the food nonetheless.

"Here's our little chef newest dish, try it out."

The soup was a little bit more salty than what they were used to, but this was mostly due to the kind of soup they were drinking, Miso Soup, than an error from their youngest. It was different in their opinion, not good but not bad either.

"It's amazing son!" Said Jacques as was expected from him, not that he wasn't sincere, "truly, you can get married now."

"He needs to learn how to tidy his room first", giggled Emeralda making you pout.

Cleaning up your room was hard damn it!

Honestly, you heard about the seven mysteries of the school but didn't put much thought into it. You asked a few first years, but none knew about them, and for some reason or another you let it at that instead of pursuing it further. There's always next year anyway.

It's not like you sleep (much) in class, more like paying attention to the lectures is a bit of a pain, so you took to going to the library to make up for your lack of focus in class.

It was easier to learn from the books, and you felt like you did well enough in class. Quite a bit of people would come to the library, either the play games on the web when the librarian wasn't looking or to hang out since the school was a bit cramped with all the kids. It was made so on purpose though, to give them the impression the place was lively and full.

It was on the library that you think you spotted someone there that you haven't noticed before. She wore a cap on her head and looked to be slightly taller than you, marking her as a possible upperclassman, and she was eyeing your book.

"We can share?" You told her, making her jump in surprise at being caught. "My name is Jaune, Jaune Arc. What's yours?"

"... Shiranui."

"Shiranui? That's a nice name, pleased to meet you Shiranui." You almost added 'san' to the name, but refrained from doing so since in the awaken world they don't say that.

"Likewise", she said after a few moments, sitting down on your table. "I just wanted to read it for reference."

"Oh, can you teach me if you're on the upper years? My professor makes me sleep."

She let out a weak laugh, "I guess I can. What do you want to know?"

"Well..."

New Relationship!
Amatsu Shiranui, Neutral: A second year girl that always wear head gears for some reason. She's friendly, and know quite a bit of the material.

Once more you push your aura as far as you can, increasing it's potency and size with each push. Your aura responds to your will, and slowly it becomes stronger and stronger as time passes.

Something inside of you stirs, almost like electricity coursing through you, almost like something was trying to burst from inside you, but the feeling soon passes. You don't feel it again, but you know it was there before. Perhaps you can explore this feeling to figure out what it was?

This can NEVER! happen, that much bad luck in one place would cause Salem herself to come on by and wreck our shit.

Actually having thought on this we should go over to his house with mom as soon as possible, because in a fight between Scathath and Salem I would bet on Scathath every time. Scathath is the women who was so badass and unbeatable in life that she literally lost the ability to die, as in the concept of death just stopped being a thing for her. It would be a cold day in hell before I bet on someone beating Scathath in a one on one fight.
