Bianca, Violet, Olivia, Indigo, Sapphire, Emeralda and Azure. Seven sisters, seven older sisters.
As you stare at them in return they pull up another piece of clothing from their closet. "I found this floral piece that will be lovely with his blue eyes!"
"Aren't you three overdoing it?" Asked Indigo looking at her baby brother with sympathetic shudders. She really didn't liked dresses, and was going along with her sisters only because they didn't wanted to play anything else when Jaune was on the room.
"Not really", came the twin reply of both Sapphire and Emeralda, "he's just so cute with those dresses, we can't help ourselves."
"Bianca, can't you make them see sense? You were also against this in the first... place?" She hesitated when she saw her sister with a camera in hands. "Uh, sis? Why do you have a camera?"
"Well", said the eldest, "if you can't beat them, join them. Besides, this is precious blackmail material for when he gets older."
"Bianca, you're seven", deadpanned Indigo. "Why are you thinking of those things?"
"Never too early to have leverage with your younger siblings." She said mysteriously, or so she thought.
"You don't have something like that on me, do you?"
Her eldest stayed silent, before clicking and capturing a particularly endearing and embarrassing pose her brother did.
"Biaaaaacaaaa!"

You graduated from milk into solid food for a while now, and your mother always made you eat everything, even when you made a mess of your food. Like right now.
"No Jaune, say AAHHH~"
You shook your head left and right like your sisters did when they didn't want to do something.
"Having problems with your son?" Asked Jacques Arc with humor in his voice.
She glared at the man before going back to her task. "Remember that you will be doing this later."
"Of course", he replied easily, "I'm not a first time dad, after all. But those rules were set by yourself, you give them lunch..."
"And you give them dinner, yes I know. Now Jaune, say AAAHHH~"
Once more you shook your head, before grabbing a handful of the food on the plate and shoving on your mouth. Hmm... needs something more to it.
"What, my little boy wants to eat by himself, do you~? Well, I will help you with eating differently then." With that said she handled a smaller spoon to her son and started helping him eat his meal, and surprisingly he did so easier than before, even if he still made quite the mess.
"Ah, my son is so independent, truly an Arc Scion."
"Really now", said Scathatch with human in her eyes, "so perhaps you can make dinner for yourself while me and the girls eat out today?"
"But a TRUE Arc knows when to appreciate the help of others." Quickly backtracked her husband, either to try and save his wallet, or to avoid cooking himself. To this day, no one in the Arc household truly knew the reason.

One day, near the end of the year Jacques Arc took longer to come back home from one of his hunts. Much longer.
Weeks had passed with no communication, making all in the household worried sick, even you knew something was wrong and made your displeasure know. Eventually though, Jacques came back in a cast. "Sorry for the delay, but the bullhead that transported us was taken down by a Griffon. We had to walk all the way back to civilization."
"And the cast?" Asked your mother with concern in her eyes, "what happened?"
"I was unlucky and got too close to a crate of dust inside the bullhead. Metallic shards embedeed on my leg and while I could limp back to Vale I will need to go there often to perform surgery to get them out. With the doctor schedule I will be at least half a year out of commission."
"Half a year... that's a long time. I guess there's no helping it, I will go on hunts in your place."
"Scathatch..."
"No, we had promised to take turns working and I didn't really retired, I just never found the opportunity to get back into the fold. With you in that state someone will have to earn money. Just give me a few weeks to take off the dust and I will be back to activity."
Jacques tried to argue, but sighed. "Fine. I didn't want you to return so soon, but it can't be helped, right?"
She nodded, before embarrassing her husband and kissing him, making the seven daughters to make a face. All's well on the Arc household.
