They're an Elf; while going the Death route would be cool and interesting, it's not necessary. Immortality is in their grasp by default.

I get that Elves are physically mature at ~16, but are they actually... Adults? Even by (modern rl) human standards, Aenureir would be a moody teenager. I bet by High Elf standards they're like, a middle schooler at best. Let's get this kid socialized and/or educated.

Which is a simplification and misreading of the options, granted, but one I find funny

Tyrion was old enough to be fighting duels and having sex with his cousin at 16, so take that for what it's worth?

[X] Death

I think it's fine for this elf to pursue a very dark Wind.

I wonder if Malekith himself understands this irony but is unable to act otherwise.

It might have been genuine initially out of caution, but after a few thousand years you'd think the obvious vampire/ogre/it's Nagash! holes would become apparent.

Maybe it's just that there is a three-is-peace situation in Naggaroth between Hellebron/Morathi/Malekith and lifting the ban now would be interpreted as a move on Morathi.

I mean, he's been doing this for so long that it's getting kind of indecent to stop and change something.
Right now, everyone is thinking, "Malekith definitely knows something, he couldn't help but think about the obvious elephant-sized hole in his plan," and if he really dismisses the decree, everyone will think, "he really didn't think about it."

So I just realised something while reading through the thread:

1. Princess Layla of Copher
2. Ibn Naggazar
3. Shams ibn Jellaba
4. Khar-mel the Djinn
5. Bahr

[ ] [STAFF] Bahr
Ah, Bahr. Bahr the Betrayer. You had lost touch with him after he betrayed Copher for Arkhan

Are these the same Copher? And does this imply it's possible (with Ranald's blessing) for us to employ both Bahr and Copher at the same time?

Because that sounds like the really funny type of bad idea.

WFRP 4e: High Elf Player's Guide, page 23:
From ages 5 to 20, when physical maturity is reached, all youths are expected to attend a school of Hoeth. [...]

Over the next few decades, between the ages of 30 to 50, an Elf is expected to show increasing emotional maturity as they pass from youth into adulthood. This milestone of life is marked with the rite of ascension, a formal celebration at 50.
Physical maturity at 20 (like dwarves), adulthood at 50.
