As an aside, if we're really stuck for names we could always use the Metal Gear Solid V: PP random name generator.

I'm rooting for Midnight Moose, personally. That or Panzer Buffalo.

Or Vengeful Goat :V

Oh! Right, I suppose while I'm thinking of it, I should cover missed opportunities for Arc 2:

  • Did not respond to Lisa via PHO.
  • Did not contact Amy or Victoria Dallon.
Those are the big ones that immediately come to mind.

Alas.

...did I mention these are all really neat sounding interludes? Because they are and I want them alllllllllllllll. tell us all the secrets, ToW :V

Heh. I could...but that'd be so much less satisfying than seeing folks reactions if I pull off the various reveals involved in those of them that might involve such properly.

Fun fact: all but one of them involves the revelation of highly relevant information where Taylor is concerned. Other fun fact: that one probably isn't the one you'd likely guess.

[X] Something Ancient, Something New, Someone Broken, and Someone Untrue.
-- At the Beginning of the End of another world, learn how the Scarlet Wedding went far, far worse for everyone involved than anyone present expected.

Bah, I want them all, but back-story seems slightly more intriguing.

[X] Something Ancient, Something New, Someone Broken, and Someone Untrue.

I was gonna go with the Emma one , but it feels like a trap for some reason. I'm probably just being paranoid though.

This came up on the A Champion of Gods & Rogues quest thread:

Infernals can do it too. Not as part of their native anima effects, but the canon version of Tool-Transcending Constructs and Revlid version of Mind-Hand Manipulation both explicitly allow the use of TK to emulate musical instruments.
In this quest Taylor has the Malfean excellency, that is enhanced by any dance and song. We can be our own lead and orchestra, so there is no reason not to use it as often as possible and build a cape identity around that (well, except Adorjan).

I'm unsure how to translate the fact we can use this as a 'almost always on' stunt. Should be easier to use for stunts than the SWLIN excellency (if probably less story movement effective). But i kind of want it to happen in the power testing sequence for the 'wtf'.

Well, we'll have plenty of time to make up for that while chillin' in protective custody.

As for names, I'm not against Apeiron. We could also come up with an Exalted-type name. I could see Uncertainty suggesting something like that.
To offer another suggestion, perhaps Diaspora? Our power and our shoulder demon are both far from home, after all. And we're far from the Taylor we used to be. Though, after thinking on it, we should probably choose a name that reflects our form and abilities. At least our core ones, like the telekinesis and cabochon constructs.

Apeiron works for the cabochon constructs at the very least. If you're looking for something else maybe Diamond Asura? This next one is probably terrible but Extropic Crabtree? Or for something less terrible Extropic Eagle?

And now it's combining in my head with the MGS V method and people in the McDonalds are looking at me funny for giggling aloud but I can't help it.

Extropic Crabtree
Angry Tulip
Vengeful Rutabaga
Persnickety Parsnip

LET ME PLAY YOU THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE! [/Malfeas]

*Proceeds with Middle school band cacophony as performed on the most exquisite instruments imaginable by the most amateur players possible.*

Yay Performance/Charisma 1 or 2.

It's not a trap. It just trades information about plot matters for information about personal matters. Each interlude strikes a balance between those two. The Dragon and Grue ones fall more on the plot side while the Emma one falls firmly within the realm of personal matters.

One dot in CHA, zero dots in Perf. Ouch.

What if we used an MP3 player as a musical instrument instead of trying to do it ourselves?

Could work. Would have to maintain the thing from when the data was transferred to a computer to when it was played, though. Though...a charm to create Malfean crystal data storage would be a valid E3 SWLIHN charm.

Silver Birch With Leaves of Diamond Fire. Diamondfire for short - the crystal constructs and anima flare are distinctive enough and it's not like they can or will be kept secret for tactical advantage.
