I'm going to propose a new technique
[ ] [Technique] Yin-Yang Universal Shift: Palm. Offense. A catastrophic blow that targets one part of the anatomy of all races, a spot below the dantian that is root of yin and yang. With one hit, the physiological yin and yang of the victim is inverted in a painful explosion that undoes what the Heaven's have decreed. Even if the target survived, they will wish they didn't.

You're joking now, but it was an actual technique used to devastating effects in the Strongest System. Sometimes I wish brain bleach was an actual thing.

This last ditch technique involves sacrificing part of your cultivation base as a massive explosion. As the Qi of your cultivation base is much thicker than normally stored Qi and much more attuned to your essence, the explosion would be cause damage at least tenfold of that caused by normal Qi and would not damage the user. However, few are willing to accept such a setback in their cultivation.

A branch in your hand can block out a bolt of thunder tribulation. Mundane objects cannot be used more than once, disintegrating after intercepting a single hit. A treasure sword might be used twice and for better defensive power. It is rumored that an offensive version of this technique exist.

Monkey Steals the Peach or something like that, yeah. Read it a few weeks ago, tried to blank it out after. I have so many problems with Xianxia stories. Why can't they be like Forge of Destiny dammit?!
Because Forge of Destiny has the xianxia paint job but lacks its essence.
That or you need to learn to laugh to crude Chinese humor.

...What essence is there besides edgy-tryhardness? Seriously, I wanna know.
Depends on what you read, some are about infinite power ups (MGA), some are about understanding the Tao and being enlightened. Things like ISSTH have some pretty big emphasis on philosophy of characters. But forge of destiny is pretty far from a normal Xianxia, so you might just not like the genre.

Respectively, Earth and Mortal Rank. The first is just mixing energies differently but gets bumped up a rank for assumed difficulty in energy manipulation and sensing. The second can just be a different form of body refinement based around an innate trait.

I'm really enjoying inventing things. I want to invent at least one thing for each tab in the shop. All I have left is armor and a trait.

It's really helpful. I've never used googledocs excel but maybe I should start. Way easier than posting everything on here and then having to trawl through spoilers and text. I'll give it more thought once the next chapter is done with.
Yup, the two would work well together.
Armor shouldn't be overly complicated. Xianxia doesn't really focus on enchanted armor and such in my experience. Everyone just wears increasingly elaborate and expensive robes. Which tend to look badass all things considered.
