So for Fou, in FGO he's a potential Beast IV that is defeated by accepting the good parts of humanity and making a sacrifice of his sapience to preserve Mash. It's less that he's hiding and more that he's observing. If humanity failed its trial in canon or here? Advent Beast IV, Cath Palug/Primate Murder.

I don't know about the magecraft being stronger. I'd say that they're no stronger or weaker than normal because incinerating human history has effects on everything else. Just because one thing fuels the fire more doesn't mean nothing else is consumed.

Matthew was initially grown in a lab like the rest of the Demi-Servant experiments. Even with Morgan's modifications he still has human influences, so is subject to both Alayashiki and Gaia. One of these is under direct attack, and has Opinions about humans connecting to the Origin. Using the Universal/Original/Unified Language involves connecting to the Origin, which left an opening.

Now, thanks to Morgan, he is also available to be tapped by Gaia due to his fae heritage. ...it would be a little awkward, to say the least.
He has both on his ass to fix shit. Gaia wants the demons off, Alaya wants humans back. Both don't really care how, just do it, normally. Right now both are actively pissed at what Twice is doing to the point they don't care if anything exists afterwards. Oh look, a fae with universal language who is friends with a counter guardian. FIX IT RIGHT NOW.

Imagine an AU in which Romeo and Juliet survive Shakespeare's angsty boner, now imagine that for whatever reason the prince decides it's a good idea to invite both the Capulet and the Montagues to a party... so suddenly a semi public high class social gathering became a public family reunion that include a bloody and prolonged blood feud and idiotic kids...

Now imagine that you're just a random merchant that was invited to the party and you don't even know who the heck are the Capulet or the Montagues...

This level of awkwardness, Blink? xd

"Sir, this is a Wendy's." That level of awkward.

It's more than just wanting the demons off. Humanity wasn't the only form of life incinerated by Goetia's plan; there's literally NOTHING alive on Earth outside of Chaldea and the singularities during Part 1, with the possible exception of the Wandering Sea.

Are you sure about that? I mean we dont know what happened to Type Mercury and Archtype Earth. They should be able to survive Incineration if they existed in FGO universe. Also this black and red color scheme that appeared. Is it Matthew's Unseelie side?

Arcueid hadn't become Archetype Earth by the time of Incineration. Believe you me, THAT would send up red flags that neither CHALDEAS nor Goetia nor Merlin/Morgan could possibly miss. Morgan's actually aiming to become Type Earth in her own right, if I've interpreted @Blinktwice13 correctly. As for Type Mercury, it doesn't count as Earth life, so it doesn't matter to Gaia whether it survived the Incineration or not.

I mean Arcueid can get backing from CF. Like in this case she should been notified by Gaia. After all True ancestors are defense system of Gaia.

Btw can they use servants as catalyst? Like using Saber Artoria to summon Lancer Artoria for example.
No sign of it but they haven't done that much directed summoning with catalysts etc. They got Cú Chulainn with a copy of the Tain but the rest of the 'on screen' summons have been pretty much 'I call upon one who would help us restore humanity' sort of thing.

So I try to keep things to a 1=1 for Servant identities. If FSN!Cu is on screen, don't expect Caster or Proto for example. As Alter is a Grail-Born alternative, he slides under the bar. So no Halloween Liz and Normal Liz, no Bride Nero and Nero, and no Saber and Salter.

If we used Servants as catalysts, though...

Gilgamesh would either crank out Ishtar or Enkidu, assuming he allowed it in the first place. Artoria could get one of her knights. Roman could use himself or his ring to get the Queen of Sheba. And there are more catalysts, it's just been that there hasn't been a need for specific summons - the glut of helpful hands coming back from singularities alone has beefed up the teams.

From Orleans: Artoria, Jeanne, Joan, and Sieg. And then Charlie, Bradamante, and Astolfo showed. Then so did everyone else sans Atalante and Lancelot. Even LaVoison dropped in.

Fuyuki netted them Kuzukimon and Musashi, both incredibly powerful combatants.

From Septem we got Hakuno, Sitonai/Illya, Cleopatra, and Brynhildr 2.0. This was after Sigurd came for Ophelia, mind you. And Rider Caesar eventually showed up to boot.

At the very least all the allies from SERAPH are going to find their way back one way or another. Meaning Nero, Tamamo, Lip and Melt, and definitely Gawain. Not to mention more of BB might be seen, and I haven't scratched the surface of what's up with Kiara. And Andersen too, I guess.

And for the ones unrelated? Koujiro Sasaki, Medusa, Waver Velvet, and frickin' Gilgamesh walked in. So far Chaldea's doing pretty good.

On a side note, taking a break has done great things for me and I intend to get back to work soon. Thanks for your patience!

(Also I caved and restarted FGO since my OG file borked itself. Expect my Friend Code and crappy, crappy Servants to plague my signature soon.)

And Andersen too, I guess.
Don't dump on Andersen. If anyone thinks to do so, Chaldea could have the guy writing up all the after-action reports in such a way to leave all the Magi in hysterics enough to leave everyone alone. Not that I think anyone would let them shut everything down like they did between parts one and two, but...

Also, Waver needs another sane, erudite drinking buddy. NO ONE ELSE at Chaldea currently counts.

Also it is fortunate that the reprise of the Prisma Codes event is happening rn. Good luck and hope the salt is little in this new account from the Chaldea Bros Verse

Thanks for all the friend codes! I'm not doing too badly for myself, but every bit helps.

Trust me, Andersen is a favorite. He's just so fun to bully as well :)

Glad to hear you're taking care of yourself. We'll all be here when you next update, whenever that is.
