Why did Hinako hate Daji so much?
Dunno how much I can spoil so I will put it in a spoiler box
It is revealed in LB3 that Hinako is not human, but an elemental, meaning that she has lived a long time, she was know as one of china 3 beauties by the name of consort Yu and was the wife of Xiang Yu, she probably had to deal with so much of Daji shit during her time as consort Yu, when you have a deranged madmen you probably had to deal with it is of no surprise that you will hate them for the rest of your life, let it me mortal or inmortal.

Loving it so far; it's a fresh twist on a boring singularity.

Though, do you mean Ascelpius here?

Yep, will fix that quickly! Thanks for pointing that out.

Why did Hinako hate Daji so much?

Because even if Hinako doesn't like humans, she's tacky and excessive. It's a case of Everyone Has Standards, and just from Daji's wikipedia article she was a class unto herself when it came to pointless decadence and torture.

Yeah. Given that Empress Wu and Elizabeth/Carmilla have Torture Technique at rank A, Daji would no doubt have it at rank EX, if not some even more vile skill.

I wonder what the connection is here between Daji and Tamamo? In canon it's kind of vague, especially given the existence of Tamamo Vitch who seems to embody all of those aspects, but she can't actually be Daji because the Tamamo Nine didn't exist until Tamamo's CCC ending. She went full Nine-Tails to save Hakuno then cut off all the extra tails after she was done and threw them into Imaginary Number Space, where they became the other 8 members of the Tamamo Nine. Plus there's the fact that Daji predates Tamamo's legend according to wikipedia (although take that part with a grain of salt because wikipedia).

My guess is that they were all aspects of Amaterasu? She is stated to be a potential Beast...

Tamamo no Mae might have simply summoned the rest of the 9, maybe?

My guess is, since Tamamo is an aspect of Amaterasu aka a big name goddess, she might have been going for longer than Tamamo-no-Mae, including during the twilight days of the Shang Dynasty to be Su Daji (Daji was the big corruptor of the last Shang king according to the books Fengshen Yanyi, but they also state Zhou was already fated to be the last Shang king and on his way to end it all. Daji was pretty much a catalyst here). My take on this all during FGO was that when Tamamo split up, Vitch took most of her inner screeching raging evil bitch tendancies (shei is an Evil Servant after all), and this aspect of Tamamo's personnality coalesced around her experiences as Daji...

Unless Imiginary Numbers Sea is a place allowing some form of time travel, and after Vitch inherited Tamamo's nastiest tendancies, and then she arrived during the last days of Shang China to begin her journey of carving up her own identity distinct from Tamamo by becoming Su Daji.

Don't forget, the Servants can always teach a few things to the Masters and staff. Not just Magecraft, either...

Well Seraph will show up in some form or fashion, and I might do something Shimosa-adjacent as an event. Shinjuku and Salem I don't really have plans for, as most of my favorite characters from them will be either incorporated into a mainline Singularity or event by their own merit.

I am skipping Agartha.

When I say I want to finish this fic in a 'season', I mean I want to wrap things up at the Time Temple or an equivalent. Trying to re-format EoR or the Lostbelts is an exercise I don't want to try my hand at. Now I might continue as a sequel looking at some continuing adventures of Matthew and friends, but I want something that can be a firm ending in its own right.
That would be for the best, yeah. A fanfic that can stand on its own, even if the original continues on or goes on a different path is great fic.
I'd feel sad for Agarth- No, sorry. Can't even complete that sentence; my disdain for that dumpster fire is far far to much.
As for the other EOR, well you've already got plans for Shimosa and the characters from Shinjuku(Probably just Sherlock and Mori tho) are far too entertaining and noteworthy to ignore.

If you ever successfully finish this story, Salem and its insanity would probably be a great gateway to a part 2.
Huh, didn't know that. Thanks for the info!

After double checking, I didn't give Caesar's class, so I'll putter around Wikipedia before I decide if I want to home brew a Rider class or have him be a Saber as is.
Mmm, well, the same artist who drew our tubby Caeser DID draw a hypothetical Rider Caeser.
Since alt forms of any servant is usually drawn by the original artist, this is canon in all but name.

This was a nice and meaty chapter, keep up the amazing work.

Be... Bedi... Bedivere... And Mordred... In bunny costumes...
Though when Mordred meets Matthew should be interesting. I mean what would they be considered since Matthew's Morgan didn't create her. Half siblings, cousins, half-brother and sister?

One thing I can see is Morgan emitting a gigantic mental squee (giving Matthew a headache) on seeing Mordred, and demanding that they take her home with them immediately.

Mordred is either gonna be enthused at having a little brother or be annoyed at the prospect that Matt gets more attention from Morgan.

Camelot is gonna be a doozy though, what with Gawain and Agravaine also being Morgan's sons, not to mention Gareth being their sister and all. Is that one gonna have much changes??

...I don't think Mordred would be as pleased.

Nooo, I've caught up.

This is great. While I love the idea of Fate and the Nasuverse it's always been way too tragic for me to get into myself (I go on wikidives occasionally and generally know the broad strokes of what happens). But this appears to be averting or ameliorating the darker events of F/GO before they happen.

Really hoping Morgan isn't a nascent (or fully-fledged) Beast herself (that one scene with her shifting between silver and black was worrying), but Merlin and the rest of the faction would likely have noticed and refused to join her if she was.
