Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

If they're post Leviathan, explaining her past self and the Undersiders/Travelers more indepth might have been important given that they did end up being major players.

Also yeah what's wrong with Chun-Li? Is Ritsuka not a fan of good walkspeed or good pokes or charge inputs?
Don't forget the first character in the roster who could wall jump as well as easy flips over the opponent to press the attack from a different direction.

So I can only assume that Taylor chickened out and didn't explain her early career after all, until any evidence to the contrary. I mean, there's difference between the narrative glossing over Taylor explaining Master Stranger protocols and literally nobody reacting to her confessing she used to rob banks and conquer city blocks.

That's going to be a fun conversation in Brockton Bay. It's almost funny just how much context they are still missing despite what they were already told.

Anyway, Jeanne Alter probably doesn't even know who Chun-Li is, lol. Depends on how much time she and Mordred spend trying to metaphorically bash each other heads in through the medium of the gaming console, as opposed to literally.

Rika insulting ABB's everything was also pretty hilarious. Lung would've been that second act extra tryhard wannabe in a Yakuza game.

My favorite moment is Emiya taking the entire shindig with superheroes personally.

Of all the things to skip details on, did she seriously tell them almost nothing about the Undersiders and the Leviathan attack? It's good to be optimistic, but the Leviathan attack is a defining event for 2011 Brockton Bay, and the Undersiders are going to be key characters no matter when our heroes show up unless things have derailed so badly that half their info is useless. She can't claim she's preempting dramatic, trust-breaking reveals and then withhold the dramatic reveal!

Paul Bunyan, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, hell, I wouldn't have bet against Betsy Ross, although I had no idea what she would look like as a Servant when most of her legend consisted of 'sewed the first American flag for George Washington.'

I can already imagine Taylor going through the "All the Statesmen" event... then after that, summoning Altera in all her 'good civ/bad civ' glory.

The Masters will be accompanied by Mash, Emiya, Arash, and Aífe, and the Rayshift will be in twelve days, on the morning of March 29th.
Well, at least they'll have a couple weeks to get prepared before Taylor fights Lung on her first night out. Choo-choo, next stop, stations of canon!

Also if Aife doesn't get the chance to wield Armsmaster's halberd at some point I'll be disappointed.

Modern Taylor: "They're just a small time gang of criminal idiot teenagers, we probably don't need to worry about them."

Solomon Geotia: "I appreciate what Taylor did for me and my plans so much I gave her a holy grail!"

Skitter: "Another me? Damn, we missed one from Echidna."
Lisa: "I must know everything."

Huh, kinda suprised Taylor didn't think about Tesla, given Tesla is a very famous american and someone they know is summonable as a heroic spirit.

So have we discussed that one Worm Villain whose power was Time-Travel that got mentioned as being one of the Villains getting ready to attack Brockton Bay a little before Taylor left?

Cause that one might be relevant to this story.

Chapter CLXXIV: No Capes
Truly the wisdom of Edna never fails
Naturally, fleshing out the profiles of the rest of the Slaughterhouse Nine was a part of that, too. Bonesaw being a biotinker with access to cybernetic enhancements and engineered bioweapons, Mannequin having enclosed himself into a system of hardened ceramic spheres and kitted them out with weapons. Crawler being sturdy and adapting to whatever didn't kill him outright. Burnscar being a teleporting pyrokinetic. Cherish having the ability to sense and manipulate the emotions of other people within a very large range. Siberian being a projection that bent the laws of physics over her knee, but with a completely normal master controlling her.
Honestly when it comes to the S9 they're kinda of a mix of "Oh thats not to crazy" to "Wut"

Like Bonesaw and Mannequin honestly reminds me of mages who have just gone off the deep end and become a sealing designation but just doesn't give a rats ass......like its weirdly easy to image Touko having lunch with them whilst they discuss their research/some of the more freak shit they've done.

But then you have Siberian who has the power to become an unstoppable object or immovable object that's described as an "all or nothing" and can give this effect to those she's touching.

Weirdly enough I feel like she belongs in the same club as Accelerator from Toaru, Regulus from Re:Zero, and Gojo from JJK. They're all pale white haired unstoppable nutjobs who are basically untouchable. Like it goes beyond the "If I had a nickle" meme.

Considering that when Wildbow was just starting worm in 2013 only Toaru was around it's probably just a funny little coincidence.
I guess they would know better than I did how poorly the Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans all got along, to say nothing of the Vietnamese and other ethnic groups whose names escaped me at the time.
Actual understatement of the century. Racism and hate in Asia is wild especially if we look at the first half of the 20th century.
I didn't tell her that I wasn't even sure Bakuda had been Japanese, let alone purely.
Honestly all things considered I wouldn't be surprised if Bakuda specifically did that to piss off those with Japanese heritage. Not only is she a spiteful narcassist but honestly she's also a bit of a troll who enjoys people being uncomfortable/in pain.
A huff of air escaped my nostrils, not quite a snort, not quite a laugh. "I'll be honest with you, Rika. I don't have the slightest clue."
......I'm still not sure if Taylor has mentioned that Kyushu was destroyed/sunk.
n London, however, people and places were being pulled from a hundred years out of date in either direction, and if that's happening in America as well, then that will tell us something about what we might expect from the last two Singularities."
Oh Ohhhhhh thats going to make things so much more fun~

They're on the east coast so we'll be seeing armies of superhuman Irish battle maniacs.

Meanwhile the presiden is now a beef cake Lion person who hangs around a youthful looking small sassy grandma.
"I'm gonna look like Chun Li by the time this is over!" Rika lamented. "I won't be cute and cuddly at all!"
Whats wrong with Chun Li?
"Hey, hey, what's wrong with Chun Li?" Mordred demanded.
Thank you Mordred!
"What isn't?" drawled Jeanne Alter, who seemed like she was doing it just to stir up shit.
Calling it now Jeanne mains either Bison or Juri.

The Servants: "Ok, these parahumans are kinda strong for living humans, but I'm a legendary hero and can totally take anything they can throw at me. Those Endbringers sound like a fun challenge though."
Taylor: "And to put a sense of scale onto why we will not fight any Endbringers or even try to fight one if it appears if at all possible I will be mentioning Behemoth's attack on India. A Indian parahuman blasted Behemoth with an attack that if Eidolon didn't surround it with a nigh inviolable barrier would've scoured the entire Indian subcontinent of life. All that would've been left is a massive crater and blast flattened wasteland over a third of Asia. Behemoth took the hit head-on and suffered no major damage. Leviathan is as tough as alluminum alloy on the very suface, and roughly doubles in durability every half a percent towards his core. Exponentially. That's alluminum alloy doubled two hundred times over in roughly the volume of an elephant. The more scientifically astute among you may have just realized that gets denser than a black hole. Yes, yes it does. We would crack the planet before we ever cracked an Endbringer."

Of course, since they're taking Aífe along, five gets you ten the first person they run into is her sister.
Oh OHHHHH MY GOSH YOUR RIGHT!

I don't know what I want to see more. The two fighting or actually teaming up like the pair of badass sisters that they are.

Cause we're already going to get a sibling fight when it comes to Arjuna and Karna.
Also if Aife doesn't get the chance to wield Armsmaster's halberd at some point I'll be disappointed.
Eh I could see Aife going "Ok but why" when she see's all the little goodies and gadgets he put into his Halberd. Like the thing is less of a halberd and more like an oversized pocket knife.

Meanwhile EMIYA as someone who's is basically a walking armory and is rather practical would probably appreciate it more.
Yes, yes it does. We would crack the planet before we ever cracked an Endbringer."
I'm now imagining that scene where King Kai tells Goku about Frieza in DBZA

Taylor: Don't even get me started on how Leviathan literally sank all of Kyushu.

So no one wants to talk how the Adepts are the closest thing Earth Beth has to Magi?

Not really something like 90 % of it's body got destroyed reducing it to a skeleton and exposing it's core. Wildbow also admitted that he didn't run the numbers he put so didn't realise they were anywhere near as large plus that was talking about a specific material property not outright durability so that can really just be ignored especially can in Ward Dragon actually manages to send Ziz flying for a few blocks and cut it in half with something that was based on the attempt to knock the moon out of orbit thing.
