Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

Babylonia's problem was somewhat different, in that the quality and density of the mana in the air was of an entirely different level in that time period. Even Ritsuka wasn't able to survive that, so his mystic code was upgraded to help filter it down to something he could actually breathe in.

Hooo boy... okay... so...

First off, "Mash and Ritsuka sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Second, now that that is out of the way, I think I remember what is next but... wasn't there a Ruler that came into the story around this time? Or am I thinking of a friend summon that I tried out?

Third, uhhh... The mask... and Da Vinci casually dropping a bomb on the twins that the costume is an actual thing. Great, and it seems like even Ritsuka is reaching the limit of how much he is willing to let slide without an answer based on his reaction.

Will the twins learn how Taylor got powers? Will they learn of trigger events? If so, how would Taylor describe them?

"You go through the worst moment of your life... You break... and then you are left to pick up the pieces and put them back together with superpowered glue."

...Anyways! Nice chapter, I am looking forward to the next!

I see your reference! :ninja:
Also, thanks for the chapter

Alright what is the reference? I've seen it before many times but I have no idea what the reference is referencing.

Edit: Forgot to put a question mark instead of the usual full stop.

Honestly, I'm going to outright say I hope not that kind of thing is never handled well. Putting aside that Marie has classified it they outright don't need to know or have a right to know especially Hans and are only curious but note they aren't exactly digging into the pasts of anyone else with the furthest it's gone being making Caster reveal his true name since he could have been P and wanted to go into the field with them which is a very different thing. If we're being fair and realistic it should be people like Jack or Mordred who are made to elaborate on their lives before Taylor.

The scenes themselves are also basically never well written where the cliche would be something like Taylor goes to America and a cape is there as an enemy servant who Taylor knows and drops a line about it. That would then lead to Taylor immediately caving and giving them her full life story covering the entirety of her life in particular walking through worm arc by arc usually full of other bad writing such as her basically doing it all as an unbroken monologue before she finishes and everyone is in awe and supportive of her before it's revealed it took her something like 3 hours to get through it all so the sun is setting.

Just know that the fic has a fair bit of Fanon, as iirc the author is the source of a good chunk of Fanon.
In Flight is good for what it is, but it's best to treat Shirou there as someone a lot closer to Archer than he believes himself to be. I think the biggest difference is that In Flight has Shirou as a lot more... robotic, almost. It's not anything obvious, but it's definitely distinct from how Shirou is in canon. If you want to find a good explanation, I always leaned on "his time in the clocktower changed him"

edit: I just remembered that Shirou has a somewhat distorted view of Rin in that fic.

Given what happened to Dauntless when March fucked with the time bubble he was trapped in should we be concerned about Goetia's time fuckery setting off Kronos? Is Kronos waiting in the American Singularity?! Things'll get real bad if the Shards are firing off Titanifications. That's a prelude to "shit's fucked, time to blow petri dish," and not even Goetia wants that to happen.

Why do you think it's a good idea to give the authour such an idea right after he just did an evil laugh?

I wonder if Taylor could get away with telling part of her past. You know, "I used to be a supervillain before I made a bargain with the US Government and worked for them dealing with people with special powers for a couple years, then I transferred to Chaldea. Please keep this a secret, my past is classified."

It's the alternate timeline stuff she really wants to cover up.

She could really cut that down to "I used to work for the government, what you want to know really is classified."

Gabriel Blessing's "In Flight (Fate/Sekirei Crossover)", infamous for the spreading of certain MEMES regarding the wider Nasu-community.

Are you sure? Because I could have sworn the "legacy of a misspent youth" phrase was used back in old Ranma fanfictions. But I really don't remember, which is why I'm asking. I swear that phrase was a lot older than the Gabriel Blessing's story.

No it is not the wrong meme, I'm referencing the original MEMES meme with a remix of the Boss song for the character who started it not something from Fate like you are.

I distinctly remember that the phrase "legacy of a misspent youth" shows up in a story that is pre-90s which is why I am asking where specifically that phrase is from. Because it keeps turning up in fanfiction but not in any fanfiction of a work where it was originally used.
