Harry And The Shipgirls: Prisoner of Shipping (A HP/KanColle Snippet Collection)

Speaking of New Battleship Princess from previous discussion, I wonder what kind of fashion she'll gravitate to once Jersey introduces her to the wonderful world of clothes.

Hey! Loving the story so far but can anyone tell me which thread has Harry originally cross dressing at Hogwarts? I can't find the snippet number and I wanted to do a reread.

Well, as she is a wee one, she will want to mimic Mama. So likely something similar to New Jersey's tastes. But regardless, Mama NJ will make damn sure she doesn't go out dressed like a hooker/stripper/clubber.

"How blunt are all the arrows of thy quiver in comparison with those of guilt." -- Robert Blair

Ehren scrutinized the puffy-eyed girl in the washroom mirror.

Haunted steel-blue eyes stared into her eyes from her haggard face.

She hadn't been sleeping well at all.

Even her solitary 'field trip' Monday afternoon after classes hadn't helped her much with her mood.

She had felt the burning need to get in a little Luger, trench knife, and hexing target practice on the creatures infesting the Library of Secrets. So as soon as her homework was hastily done, she had skipped dinner so she could fight her way down to the Ninth Level for a visit with Pratibha and Amala. It had been a perfect opportunity to drop off one of her hilt pins so that she could take advantage of their offer of training in Indian magics as the justification that she used when she headed down through the Library looking for trouble to neutralize.

Her lips twitched smugly at the memories of her killing spree that afternoon.

But even putting a serious dent in the creepy-crawly population down there hadn't had the wished-for effect.

She was unable to forget the feel of Draco's arms embracing her in his lap.

The feel of her lips on his in their kiss, and then the kisses that Niobe and Johnston had given her.

Her.

Her.

An
SS-Ehrendolch.

A Nazi dagger.

A Nazi who had sworn to not interfere with the pure and noble and right and true love that Johnston, Draco, Cleo and Niobe shared among themselves.

She'd given her word to Draco and his Fleet for all the right reasons!

She'd always be faithful to her sworn oaths in word, spirit, and deed!

To do anything else was as unthinkable as... oh... Claire quitting playing music!

So why was she not sure that she was doing the right thing anymore?

Why was she so tempted by those kisses that she had stolen from them while drunk off her
Arsch at the Hufflepuff Party?

Why did it seem even more right to sit in Draco's lap, his arms embracing her adult avatar, his eyes gazing into hers, his Fleet surrounding her and.... and?!

Ehren yanked her gaze away from the tomato-faced girl in the mirror.

'Mooning over Draco like some love-struck village idiot (or that brown-haired flabby-uddered cow Parkinson!) wouldn't produce the answers she needed!' She told her reflection angrily.

She automatically smoothed down the T-shirt that Claire had dropped off during her visit last weekend before slipping on her weighted harness and gloves. She had to stay in combat shape, to stop Pansy's attempt to enthrall Draco with necromancy. That was far more important than some stupid kiss in a drunken moment, right?

Unbidden, the right hand of the blushing girl in the mirror gently caressed her shyly smiling lips just before Ehren turned on her heel to begin her morning jog.

---------------------------------------------------------------

"Guten Tag, Harry, Hanna, Regina!" Ehren gasped out, sweat pouring from her as she reached the top of the Great Stairs during this leg of her 'vertical mile' jog that she had been doing to get her mind off the intractable problems that she had been grappling with.

She slowed down, swinging her arms backward and forward to stay limbered up.

The exercise and fresh air had helped clear her mind somewhat so that she had been able to organize her unsettled thoughts and desires. She had managed to visualize locking them away for security back into her mental fortress to be handled at the proper time and place.

"Hello Ehren!" Harry said. "In the mood for a group jog? We were going to head down along the shore of the Black Lake."

Ehren smiled and fell in as they began to jog down the stairs. "I don't mind in the least. Thank you again for transcribing that recipe from your family's cookbooks."

---------------------------------------------------------------

"This was an enjoyable run," the now pink-cheeked dagger said as they finished their circuit and began a cool-down walk

"It was my pleasure, Ehren!" Harry said with a warm smile for her while the walked back through what Ehren thought of 'die Einhornwiese'. While the Unicorns were not present, the crunch of snow underneath her sneakers and the puffs of frosty breath were most enjoyable as she jogged back to Hogwarts alongside her friends, chattering back and forth about classes, favorite German dishes, and the upcoming Christmas holidays between breaths full of the cold, crisp air. Her black mood had been lightened somewhat since she had been able to push the issue of her near-betrayal of Draco back to the recesses of her mind where it belonged while with her friends.

"Ehren." Harry's voice cut through Ehren's happy reverie as they entered the Entrance Hall.

"Was ist das?" Ehren responded after waving at a pack of Beauxbatons students trickling inside.

"Something's been wrong with you since this weekend. What's troubling you?" Harry asked, leaning closer with concern in his face and voice.

'Nothing at all." Ehren responded firmly, fighting down a blush caused by her damn puberty hormones and certainly not the illicit memories of Draco and her kissing. "Nothing's wrong. At all."

"Unh-hunh." Harry said skeptically. "You know that you can confide in me, right?"

Ehren squared her shoulders and gave him a firm and commanding look, noticing out of the corner of her eye that Fleur was heading their way. "It's nothing and I'm handling it even if there was a problem. Which there isn't. A problem."

"I just don't want to see you hurt, Ehren. If Draco did something to--" Harry began.

Ehren promptly snapped back at him with her furious eyes flashing and irate voice cracking slightly. "It's nothing to do with Cousin Draco and he's a perfect gentleman!! More so than you are being!"

Fleur jumped in to add her two francs to the mix. "Stop badgering Mlle. du Chasteler, M. Potter!" The French girl said with her hands on her hips to highlight her T-shirt and a frown on her face. "You can't understand what she's been going through."

Harry shook his head and spoke in a resolute voice. "No. Ehren's my friend, and she needs me."

Ehren bit her lip as she wrestled her emotions back down while watching the byplay of her friends.

Fleur softened slightly, then leaned in. "She's my friend too, but it's a girl problem that she is dealing with. A boy you like you can't understand a woman's heart like hers when she is in pain over amour non réciproque."

Ehren blushed slightly as Harry and Fleur began to argue over who should help her and if Harry was clueless about 'women's hearts'. She was perfectly fine and didn't need their help, although it felt nice for them to stand up on her behalf and show their concern for her.

Finally Fleur tossed her head back and glared at Harry. "Hmmph! Boys are simple for me to understand. I would make a far better boy than you would ever make a girl!" She spoke in a smug voice full of 'so there!'.

Ehren's blood suddenly ran cold at Harry's smile when he nodded and replied. "We'll see, Miss Delacour. We'll see...."

Author's note: 'die Einhornwiese' is 'the Unicorn Meadow' and amour non réciproque is 'one-way love'

Well, Ehren thinks she's not right for Draco (She's wrong but...) One of these years Ehren will accept that... most likely right after Niobe, Cleo and Johnston sit on her and bluntly tell her to go on a date with Draco...

Ah, Fleur you don't give Harry a challenge like that, he's a military brat and easily bored... (almost every second year and up Hogwarts student)   :D :D🐺

To me, it just... flows strangely.
You probably know better and I don't want to backseat, since that is something of a sore topic both here and on SB.
'Afterwards, one would often find Morgana use what knowledge she had of herbs and such to heal my hurts.' is the way I would have written it. Sorry if this is backseat writing.
Well, they were much cruder, but yes.
I thought so, but it was supposed to feel like the straw that broke the camels back in terms of Arthur's reaction: They spent the entire day insulting each other with rather viciously, not in a vitriolic best friends way, and that is their last little bit before they parted ways for the night.

Catch me if you can, it's time to RUN~!
For A moment, I thought she'd made a gingerbread man reference...
An eyeblink later, she was over the East China Sea.

Then she was gone once more.
Talk about fast.
And I think she'd like Shimakaze.
(I love the Sirius/Dido/Hunter one!
Yeah. That one's adorable.
At least Blackbird Abyssal didn't start quoting the Gingerbread Man
So you got the same idea as I.
As a side note, something funny for everyone.
Still cute.
The Horned Serpent would have been released by TOTEM. They discussed breaking the wards here to release it as a doomsday plan during the Cold War and then during Blood Week. A creature so terrible that it would turn the enemy's victory to ashes.
...Like the Kamo plans...
The tree of freedom is watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Well, as she is a wee one, she will want to mimic Mama. So likely something similar to New Jersey's tastes. But regardless, Mama NJ will make damn sure she doesn't go out dressed like a hooker/stripper/clubber.
With the taffies as her sister figures, just how many of her outfits have selves?
And how many fancy dresses do the Malfoys gift NJ and Nessa?
...
And now I imagine Pagoo wearing a little bow tie.
(I love the Sirius/Dido/Hunter one!
Yeah, that one is adorable.

Apocrypha

Ehren was nervous. Today was the day Claire was to return from her visit to the C&K base, and while she knew too little about most dolls to judge... she couldn't help but be worried. wz.29 seemed nice enough if a bit quiet and melancholic.
But...
That other one, SOPMOD II... that one worried her.
She had seen just what that doll could do to a Grendel without breaking a sweat. To be exact, she had laughed like a damn maniac as she tore the construct apart. And then she had complained about it being too easy: Something about being less of a challenge than whatever a Smasher was.

And then, SOPMOD asked her if she could have one of her eyes.
So... the idea of her beste große Klavierschwester being anywhere near someone like that... terrified her.

An odd 'shimmer' in the air caught her gaze. The shimmer became a wall or veil. A waving, smiling Claire stepped through backward, her suitcase in one hand and a strange piece of machinery in the other. Then she turned around. The smile became even brighter as the veil vanished.
Ehren couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Both of Claire's eyes were where they were supposed to be and she didn't seem to be in any kind of pain.
"Ehren!" her sister called out and hugged her, which the dagger spirit eagerly returned.
"So... how was your holiday with the griffins?" the younger sister asked gently. "Great! They all love to hear me play and even have a few skilled musicians among their number. SAT's a fantastic cook if you want some Italian cuisine and Sop..."she adjusted her grip on the machine in her grasp. "well, it would be unfair to the others if I would show you first. Would you please tell the others to come as soon as possible to my room? I want to show everyone."
Ehren couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. Sop... made her somewhat nervous...
But...
If Claire talked so eagerly about whatever Sop made for her, it probably was harmless.
"Wait for me then."
---
"Ehren, do you have any idea why Claire wants to show us?" her mother asked. Kasuyu, Father Jaques, Miho, herself and her mother were present. Where the two little yokai were, she had no idea.
The younger daughter of her household shook her head in a no. "She said it would be unfair if she showed me before the rest of you. The only thing I know is that Sop made it."
Before anyone else could say anything else, The piano pianist entered the room and summoned her true form before placing the odd device she had brought home on the keys of her true body.
"Thank you for coming, everyone! I would like to introduce you to someone and is there a better way to introduce a fellow musician than by letting them play?"
She placed something on the machine... and the piano started playing.
The melodic giggle of her big sister made Ehren happy as she listened to the music. Good, without a doubt... but nowhere near as good as Claire. It couldn't be her sister playing: if it was music, she always gave one hundred percent. Still, head and shoulders above Kasuyu, probably better than herself.
...
About equal to her mother.
The last note rang out and Claire picked whatever she had placed on the device up.
With another melodic giggle she held out her hand.
"So... let me introduce you to... Claire Junior!"
Standing there on her open palm, was a tiny copy of the music-obsessed spirit.
It shyly fidgeted under their collective gaze.
...
Ehren stared. So did everyone else in the room.
"... Are...are they mad at...me?" the teeny being asked with a quiet copy of Claire's voice.
Before Claire senior could answer...
"Oh mein Gott, bist du nicht herzallerliebst?!"
Ehren seized the tiny thing in Claire and gave her a tight hug, which made Claire Junior make a noise, similar to a squeaky toy.
Then, he younger daughter of the household realized just what happened.
She blushed a lovely shade of red, much to the amusement of the rest of the household.

A/N: Hope it's cute.
Another idea I had for this was Miho making Junior some magical plushy friends to help her move around the castle since she is so small.
And the device... imagine a junior-sized keyboard that allows the smol being to play Claire's true body by translating what she presses onto the real piano.

Tell me what you think.

And Junior being introduced to the family

Apocrypha
*Snip.
Don't worry Ehren, SOPMOD is firmly on your side.
And how hard is it to kill a smasher? Regina had to use her full strength to take on a Grendel. Are smashers stronger/more durable than grendels?

"So... let me introduce you to... Claire Junior!"
Standing there on her open palm, was a tiny copy of the music-obsessed spirit.
It shyly fidgeted under their collective gaze.
Well, there goes Ehren's heart.

On the bright side, this ought to take Ehren's mind off her kissing Draco.

And seriously, Fleur, have you not learned from when you called him a little boy?

Did Harry have a wet dream, or just a lewd one?

Considering his extra embarrassment, I think wet (or as close to one as can be depicted on SV/SB).

He woke up before it became a wet dream. But he still had some activity "Below the belt" when he woke up (his pants became too tight and he needed to take a cold shower).
It was, indeed, a wet dream. Hence Natsumi taking very deep, very long sniffs (because she is a teen herself and interested in him... and as mentioned, Tamamo is not the only "Ero-Kitsune") and it was noted that the shipgirls had thrown the top sheets into the clothes hamper with blushes on their faces. It was just that was as far as I could go into detail without getting whacked over on SB for it.
On the bright side, this ought to take Ehren's mind off her kissing Draco.

And seriously, Fleur, have you not learned from when you called him a little boy?
Well, to be honest, Fleur only let it slip out because she was worried. And second... she doesn't know that Harry was practically raised in a household almost entirely composed of women (as in, he has dozens of "Big Sisters" and "Aunts" with a handful of male role models).

Well, to be honest, Fleur only let it slip out because she was worried. And second... she doesn't know that Harry was practically raised in a household almost entirely composed of women (as in, he has dozens of "Big Sisters" and "Aunts" with a handful of male role models).
I can understand worried. But by this point she's had a few opportunities to talk to various students about Harry (personally? If the first time I saw somebody they marched in with Abyssals? I would want to know more about this new person... Particularly if he has Shipgirls and Abyssals as allies.) So lack of understanding is no excuse... (like if you go into a foreign country, lack of knowledge about the law is no excuse)

At this point, people at Hogwarts should have a rulebook they hand to any newcomers. First rule on the first page?

"Don't give Harry Potter an excuse. You will regret it."

Probably, too bad that Ehren and Fleur missed the memo here.

Worse than an excuse…is permission

Well Fleur gave Harry permission~~

Well, Ehren thinks she's not right for Draco (She's wrong but...)

More like 'Draco can and should do better than a filthy untrustworthy Nazi like me who was about to jump him for my own selfish reasons'. Ehren really sells herself very short here, and it's mainly unjustified.

One of these years Ehren will accept that... most likely right after Niobe, Cleo and Johnston sit on her and bluntly tell her to go on a date with Draco...

Yeah, it will take some work to get that she has self-worth and is loved through her skull, alas.

Ah, Fleur you don't give Harry a challenge like that, he's a military brat and easily bored... (almost every second year and up Hogwarts student)   :D :D🐺

Good thing Ehren is a First Year~

Yes. Remember that feeling. You will feel it again in the future. Harry Potter doesn't do things by halves.

Yeah. And Ehren really does need something to break her out of this depressive rut.

For A moment, I thought she'd made a gingerbread man reference...

Not consciously, no.

Talk about fast.
And I think she'd like Shimakaze.

Yeah, Rabbit is a fellow speed demon type.

Yeah. That one's adorable.

It totally is!

...Like the Kamo plans...

This was pretty much a 'the nukes are flying and we're all fucked anyway' WWIII war plan that was proposed to be dusted off and looked at when Blood Week happened.

The tree of freedom is watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Well yes, and it was a real Father/daughter bonding moment, especially since Mika knows Del is a WWI vet and of course Del knows about Saint Kitts.

With the taffies as her sister figures, just how many of her outfits have selves?
And how many fancy dresses do the Malfoys gift NJ and Nessa?
...
And now I imagine Pagoo wearing a little bow tie.

That is an adorable image of Pagoo,. Draco and Nimue will no doubt hook Nessa up with birthday gifts of pretty dresses.

Some art. A bit of a lean day.

I have to say, Del and the rest would definitely link up with her.

And Junior being introduced to the family
Set long before the Fenrir incident
Apocrypha

Very nice snip!

I'll note that Ehren would be worried, but Ehren also defers judgement on if people are good to Claire a lot, since she admits that Claire is far better at 'people things' than she is. So she wouldn't freak too much since Claire clearly sees something in SOPMOD that Ehren doesn't.

Very VERY true to the Ehren/Claire relationship. They are close like that, and Ehren's a worrier.

Yeah, Ehren would be looking forward to Claire showing it off.

"Ehren, do you have any idea why Claire wants to show us?" her mother asked. Kasuyu, Father Jaques, Miho, herself and her mother were present. Where the two little yokai were, she had no idea.

Interrogating the right person, although Mutti knows that if Claire asked for secrecy from ehren, wild horses won;t drag it out of the dagger.

Peak. Claire!

She placed something on the machine... and the piano started playing.

Superb tune, Claire absolutely would love that!

To be fair, Claire sets an impossible standard for Piano. Ehren is actually a better pianist than Colombe is (in Claire's expert but biased opinion) and could play semi-professionally if she worked at it (a pianist teaching and doing paying gigs in the local bar/small town orchestra on a Friday night). Kasuyu is terrible at Piano, of course.

Peak Ehren! She really is a massive softie under the ice. And yes, that was utterly adorable.

A/N: Hope it's cute.

It's very VERY cute. Adorable!

Another idea I had for this was Miho making Junior some magical plushy friends to help her move around the castle since she is so small.

Or just enchant and animate some of Claire's small army of plushies.

On the bright side, this ought to take Ehren's mind off her kissing Draco.

And seriously, Fleur, have you not learned from when you called him a little boy?

Well it will boggle Ehren VERY hard, yes.

Well, to be honest, Fleur only let it slip out because she was worried. And second... she doesn't know that Harry was practically raised in a household almost entirely composed of women (as in, he has dozens of "Big Sisters" and "Aunts" with a handful of male role models).

I should further note that Fleur saw Ehren's crying jag at the party when Draco was dancing with his Fleet and isn't aware (yet) of the exact dynamics. She knows it's boy trouble and Ehren is hot for Draco, who has other girls interested in him that he's dating (Pansy, Niobe, Johnston, Kamilla...)

So she is thinking some heartbreak and a bit of a playboy scenario where Ehren is getting her heart trampled. She intends to sit down with her cousin and get her to unwind while reassuring her (Fleur is no stranger to romantic spats, especially with Isabella as a friend). She doesn't know the specifics of what's going on and is selling Draco very short.

I'd say she hasn;t processed fully what Harry's upbringing did for him. Much less that Harry is very mature for his age (she's also processing the Dragon incident). She knows, but hasn;t drawn the correct conclusions yet.

Speaking of New Battleship Princess from previous discussion, I wonder what kind of fashion she'll gravitate to once Jersey introduces her to the wonderful world of clothes.

Basically i see NJ getting her a very "AMERICAN" outfit, essentially what she herself is wearing just sized for NBP, complete with Aviator shades!. :D

The Sharpest Arrow In The Quiver

Hogwarts

Wednesday, November 26th, 2014

Ehren looked at the red-eyed girl in the washroom mirror. Haunted steel-blue eyes looked back at her from her face.

She hadn't been sleeping well at all.

Even her 'field trip' Monday afternoon after classes hadn't helped much with her mood.

Poor Ehren, *Gives comfort hug*

She had felt the need to get in a little Luger, trench knife, and hexing target practice on the creatures infesting the Library of Secrets as soon as her homework was done.

At least she is properly preparing for a new expedition into the LoS.

Her lips twitched smugly at the memories of her killing spree that afternoon.

Well she does have Muramasa heritage after all. :p

But even putting a serious dent in the creepy-crawly population down there hadn't had the wished-for effect.

She was unable to forget the feel of Draco's arms embracing her in his lap.

The feel of her lips on his in their kiss, and then the kisses that Niobe and Johnston had given her.

Her.

Her.

A
SS-Ehrendolch.

A Nazi dagger.

A Nazi who had sworn to not interfere with the pure and noble and right and true love that Johnston, Draco, Cleo and Niobe shared among themselves.

Oh Ehren, you thick skulled Prussian.

Why did it seem even more right to sit in Draco's lap, his arms embracing her adult avatar, his eyes gazing into hers, his Fleet surrounding her and.... and?!

Because it is right? And your all meant for each other?

She automatically smoothed down the T-shirt that Claire had dropped off during her visit last weekend before slipping on her weighted harness and gloves. She had to stay in shape, and figure out how to stop Pansy's attempt to enthrall Draco with necromancy. That was more important than some stupid kiss in a drunken moment, right?

Kek! Trust Claire to find and send that kind of t-shirt. :D

When in doubt, exercise.

The exercise and fresh air had helped clear her mind somewhat so that she had been able to organize her unsettled thoughts and desires. She had managed to visualize locking them away for security back into her mental fortress to be handled at the proper time.

Now that is a fortress!

And now Harry looks to try and help Ehren out off her funk.

Ehren squared her shoulders and gave him a firm and commanding look, noticing out of the corner of her eye that Fleur was heading their way. "It's nothing and I'm handling it even if there was a problem. Which there isn't. A problem."

Thick skulled Prussian being thick skulled.

Fleur jumped in to add her two francs to the mix. "Stop badgering Mlle. du Chasteler, M. Potter!" The French girl said with her hands on her hips to highlight her T-shirt and a frown on her face. "You can't understand what she's been going through."

*Facepalm* Fleur your digging your grave even deeper then before!

Fleur softened slightly, then leaned in. "She's my friend too, but it's a girl problem that she is dealing with. A boy you like you can't understand a woman's heart like hers when she is in pain over amour non réciproque."

Fleur you fool! Youve doomed yourself!

And now youve doomed everyone else you silly French girl!

HatSG Harry Potter does not half ass his crossdressing. Prepare for the veritable flood of boggles!

I think Jr. needs more practice to be closer to her Mother's style...
She's less than a week old at this point, so she deserves some slack.
And how hard is it to kill a smasher? Regina had to use her full strength to take on a Grendel. Are smashers stronger/more durable than grendels?
Smashers are... borderline immune to ballistic small arms fire and very resistant to everything else. These things will happily wade through beam cannon fire by Typhons, which vaporizes T-dolls. One of the main tasks of these hover tanks is to hunt them and its about 50-50 who wins. And the most horrifying thing about those things? They can happen only a few hours at the most after heavy Collapse exposure and they radiate Collapse themselves. So we have creatures at least on par with Grendels that take less time to 'produce' and can spread by infecting humans. But I'll let SJ decide if they are stronger and tougher than Grendels.
And while I place Sop lower in lethality than the knives or Regina, the fact that she considers killing those things 'fun' should tell you just how skilled she is in killing.
I hoped for that reaction...

That is an adorable image of Pagoo,. Draco and Nimue will no doubt hook Nessa up with birthday gifts of pretty dresses.
Meanwhile NJ, of course, complains about how silly she looks in dresses, much to the confusion of everyone around her.

I'll note that Ehren would be worried, but Ehren also defers judgement on if people are good to Claire a lot, since she admits that Claire is far better at 'people things' than she is. So she wouldn't freak too much since Claire clearly sees something in SOPMOD that Ehren doesn't.
Claire herself was unsure of Sop before the visit. Before, they met twice: Once, when she played for wz.29 and Sop asked for one of her eyes(bad) and afterward where she got that vampire fang bracelet(neutral?) Remember, in the first Claire in the Sopmod's lair, she wasn't sure just how Sop's room would look like.
But you're her author. Thank you for the feedback.

Yeah, Ehren would be looking forward to Claire showing it off.
I think everyone in the family would.
Interrogating the right person, although Mutti knows that if Claire asked for secrecy from ehren, wild horses won;t drag it out of the dagger.
Yup.
For someone so utterly devoted to the art of music, hearing someone play for about four minutes is a better introduction than a thousand words.
It was to come across as humility. Ehren, like so often, selling herself short. In addition, to show just how good Claire's tiny Companion is. But what is more impressive: Junior being so damn good that she's a match with someone with centuries of experience, or Colombe being so damn good that she's a match who was literally created to make music?
And Kasuyu is probably better at dancing than most.
Peak Ehren! She really is a massive softie under the ice. And yes, that was utterly adorable.
She loves her big sister, here is a mini-me of her sister being shy. Of course, she hugs.
Or just enchant and animate some of Claire's small army of plushies.
Note made. A big plush wolf for land movement and a stuffed dragon for when she needs to get up somewhere?
