Hakazin Plays: Mods for Hearts of Iron 4 (Old World Blues) (ON HIATUS)

So thus far I've seen three Equestria at War let's plays that ends with a geopolitical situation that's not going to be pleasant for the world on the other side of the mirror.

"For a time, the Humans of Seras knew the illusion of peace"

Yeah *sigh* I would like to be the good guys for once, or at the very least, a neutral country again.

Yeah *sigh* I would like to be the good guys for once, or at the very least, a neutral country again.

I said it before, and I'll paraphrase it again; playing the bad guy, especially a dickish one, always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was really looking forward to Equestrian Civil War, too. Oh well, next time.

Anyway, assuming we don't surrender and subsequently get annexed by the Arcturians, we'll want to go down the path of vampirism, as it removes many of the malluses to research- more than lichhood, at least.

I've seen the Solar Empire, the Changeling Realm and the Dread League. All would most likely attempt to subjugate humanity.

Honestly, I do want to see a play through in which things don't go horribly South for the future, but at the same time I just want to see if the Dread League can succeed because they're actually in a pretty difficult position with the whole DECLARE WAR ON LITERALLY EVERYONE thing, so l... Yeah, I wanna see how far we can get

[X] Steal the Body!

The body, as it turned out, was not of much use. Grover V's sickly nature had robbed the corpse of much of its inherent strength, and any mystical resonance that the body of the emperor might have had was undercut by the fact that the Griffonian Empire had apparently undergone a partial collapse under Grover's rule.

Oh well, animating it might still be a good way of instilling fear in the griffons. Now, where did I put that preservative…

...Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Apparently, during a speech dedicated to the Arcturian Order's policy towards us, a changeling went and… stabbed, was it? No, no, shot, that's right, all this modern language is a bit confusing… anyway, a changeling in the crowd shot Headmaster Torygg as he began his speech. Interestingly enough, we had nothing to do with this, but we are fully willing to take advantage of the chaos now gripping our ancient enemies.

Certain arcane scryings have informed us that the Olenian kingdom is undergoing something of a dynastic dispute. Their devil-king is unpopular among the masses, and we believe that there is a conspiracy in place to overthrow him. Not our business, of course.

With Rosa having solidified her control over the minor necromancer circles, and having gained the support of the Voodoo cabalists and a number of activist Ghouls, she had achieved enough of a majority that her ascension to Queendom was assured. However, the Coven of Blood and the Society of Bones still were unwilling to support her unless Rosa sided with one of them in turn. Since having both of them opposing her would be an effective guarantee of deadlock, one that would be ill-timed with the south in chaos, the choice must be made. Whom shall Rosa Maledicta choose to align with?

[ ] The Coven of Blood
[ ] The Society of Bones

[X] The Coven of Blood

Both are interesting but the idea of a Vampiric Aristocracy dominating a continent in MLP is too cool to pass over.

[X] The Society of Bones
One, Liches are cool. Two, I don't like the monthly population negative. Three, non pirate vampires are lame.

I'm leaning towards the spooky scary skeletons, but It'd be kinda nice to know exactly what mechanical benefits each focus tree provides.

I think we can work around the quantity issues, but we'll need as much help as we can get quality wise.
