You are right, but it still does not get you to the 11 successes you would need to fake natural diamonds. That is the threshold because it is literally inhuman 'bubble shaping nano-tech' levels of crafting
It's craft, you are not making advanced technology, you are literally making a shinny rock, it's hard to get any simpler than that. True you are using advanced technology, but the same would be true if you used a electric saw to cut planks and it would be rather silly to call that technology over craft.

Honestly, the more reasonable thing would be to go to Lydia. If it doesn't work, we certainly should. @DragonParadox how pressed for time are we? If we waste several hours on the search, are we certain to miss the window to sell the diamonds?

Maybe liquid sunscreen? Or just keep ourselves covered in essential oils. There are people that do that for fashion and various skin care. Might be a little expensive, but we should be able to afford it soon.
