Going Full Hollow (Bleach)

No, that was an actual quest ending vote for TPK a while back. And it wasn't even worded right: they were trying to get Shinigami powers back or something, and then voted for commiting suicide by stabbing themselves in the heart.
I'd like to think we're not quite that stupid.

*He says after voting to go to a fort owned by hollows and hoping nobody notices the human behind him.*

Nah they stole Aizen's sword when it was sticking in the wall with his illusion body. Then after the fight with Kenpachi they tried talking the spirit in it to give Ichigo power. The options were kill the spirit with the sword for an upgrade or don't kill the spirit in the sword for an upgrade.

They figured stabbing yourself with a spirit sword gave us powers once so it can happen again! Overwhelming majority forgot we were a soul reaper at the time and already had powers so it'd probably kill them.

Why was that thought of as a good idea? Desicration of the dead is a thing. That probably would have gotten you OMG'd.

It was a thing because Ichigo would of had no idea. He was more like 'Cool. Free sword.' And near everyone else would be seeing Aizen's body on the end of the sword. Then the hilarity of Ichigo wondering what the hell is wrong with everyone he was fighting.

...How many quests do you have that have ended early from stupid decisions?
well, off the top of my head
Going full Kubo, killed off viewpoint character twice
The quest where they were playing Not A Dick Shinji
That dark general quest where he put MY PLAYERS ARE DROWNING IN THE RIVER STYX AND WILL DIE IF THEY DON'T VOTE TO ESCAPE for a good few weeks with no effect

Obviously we are being morons. But we're Velociraptors. Of course we are being morons. It's either that, or self entitled assholery.

Probably being morons in some way, but trying to guess at what we're doing wrong A. probably isn't going to sway other voters unless it is extremely convincing, and B. probably starts to descend into paranoia, another staple of Questing.

Which....I admit, isn't a very good defense of us.

Of all the things one might pick to dislike TPK over, him being a tough QM isn't one I mind.

No risk, no fun.

So that means I will gladly eat my sword pie. May I have another?!

I just had a potentially very stupid thought.

When someone is killed by a hollow, they in turn become a hollow, correct? So if mister 11 kills Tatsuki, she'll become a hollow. All we have to do is then subdue Hollow!Tats without killing her and then convince her to rip off her own mask. Bam! Arrancar Tatsuki!

Like I said, it was probably a very stupid thought.

The problem there is that typically, tearing the mask off a hollow kills it instead of making an arrancar. Aizen's army was possible because he had the Hogyoku, which basically let him mass-produce arrancar without worrying about killing off the majority of the hollows he attempted it on.

I couldn't think of a way to continue the quest as-is. I'll try again tonight.

Alright, then, here's my humble, dumb idea: the Hueco Mundo part was Aizen screwing with our mind to analyse a new unknown factor in his master plan, since we are somehow born out of a eugenic experiment of his.
On the plus side, we're alive and Aizen thinks we're a dumber, weaker Grimmjow. On the minus side, Aizen knows personally of us and our abilities, motives and skills.

Shawlong doesn't believe us and kills Tatsuki, Shirosaki goes ballistic, attempts to kill him, only to get his butt kicked when Shawlong uses his resurreccion. Shirosaki is either slain, ending the quest, or captured and possibly experimented on by a certain mad scientist. If Shirosaki is captured, quest continues when he is either rescued, escapes, or is brainwashed and sent after Ichigo or Soul Society.

Shawlong accepts the explanation, "kills" Tatsuki anyway, Shirosaki goes ballistic, attempts to kill him, gets his butt kicked when Shawlong uses his resurreccion, only to be saved when Tatsuki, having regenerated, unexpectedly ganks him from behind. Shirosaki and Tatsuki then get swarmed by arrancar and are forced to retreat.

Shawlong accepts the the explanation, invites Shirosaki and Tatsuki to join Aizen's army. Players vote on whether to think it over or join, write in refusal, and get swarmed by arrancar, including Shawlong.

Players unexpectedly change their votes to something that doesn't potentially get a main character killed or bad end the quest. Ahahaha, nope.

Of course, the other options are also shit.

Fight him
Shirosaki attacks at full power, catches Shawlong flatfooted, and wins. He then has to haul ass as he and Tatsuki get swarmed by arrancar.

Shirosaki attacks Shawlong, but is unable to defeat him before he uses his resurreccion. Shirosaki loses (and possibly dies in battle), Tatsuki is slain, quest end.

Run
Shirosaki grabs Tatsuki and books it, only to be taken down almost immediately by Shawlong.

Shirosaki opens with a cheap shot, grabs Tatsuki, and books it. Then they're still stuck in Hueco Mundo, Shawlong tracks them down with some other arrancar, and they are slain.

Shirosaki opens with a cheap shot, grabs Tatsuki, and books it. He somehow figures out how to use Garganta and makes it back to Karakura Town. Except Shawlong had been following his progress with Pesquisa and follows him with a group of arrancar. Ichigo gets involved, because of course Ichigo gets involved, and a very public, very destructive battle takes place in the middle of Karakura with no backup from Soul Society. Urahara, Yoruichi, or the Vaizards are forced to intervene. Don Kanonji returns to Karakura to investigate.

I had completely forgotten that Pesquisa was a thing. God, dammit! If I had remembered that then I wouldn't have voted for the "stick close to her" option and we wouldn't have been in this mess!

What would you have voted for? Hollow disguise was an even worse option. We shouldn't have even come to Los Noches but, as the tags now say, we have made our own bed so we must now lay in it.
