Going Full Hollow (Bleach)

[X] Own up that Tatsuki's human and refuse to care

The best of a very bad set of choices.

Christ on a bike, you people. I go away for a day...

[X] Own up that Tatsuki's human and refuse to care

I changed my mind...
Honestly, it's quite like having to decide if being hanged and quartered or burned at the stake.

My favorite kind of lols voting is when people say

'BUT NOT DOING THIS MEANS THAT YOU ARE META GAMING' Because everyone knows that going right into the home base of a bunch of weird hollow-people we know NOTHING about is a good idea and all the nay sayers are only objecting because we know things, and not because it's a fucking stupid choice.

'LOL WE DONT KNOW ABOUT AIZEN THO LOLOLOLOL' No, but we can infer via what Whitey DOES know, along with common sense or instinct, that going to the home turf of a HOLLOW ARMY- YEAH IT MIGHT BE A BAD IDEA.

'but but we are instinct' This one especially because the GM outright said that while we're instinct that doesn't make us stupid.

Instead we are now in the base of an unknown amount of people that we have no info on. With Tatsuki. No meta info factored in at all! Also implying that Whitey gives a single shit about Soul Society killing 'those poor defenseless hollows'. Like, could you be any more obvious with the 'desperate to go against canon in a way that just looks needlessly edgy'? Seriously that stupid as fuck write in to rationalize not giving a shit about Rukia.

I am innocent, i was advocating for a good fight against a opponent slight more powerful than us, but well now we need to run damage control, and not point fingers at people.

Welp, we're fucked. Here's hoping Tatsuki doesn't become some Hollow's lunch.

We're in an interesting tension filled situation and you're kvetching about it?

This is something I don't get about quests. We find a new place with an interesting plot hook and people just want to turn around and go home to eat ice cream in front of the television. It's this constant refrain of "take the safe choices and just make our power levels higher, damn the opportunity for drama and excitement!"

We've got a cool chance to fast talk our way into knowing more about what's going on and perhaps even about ourselves. Whining about how we aren't being boring just cuts against everything that makes this forum enjoyable.

Regardless, we're a Hollow and we're vouching that our adorable little apprentice on our side, not a shingami, and has her own reasons to dislike Soul Society.

Earlier today, I attempted to find an image of Shirosaki riding a hollow. In hindsight, I probably should have seen what I actually found coming. Dammit, Internet.

Honestly, speaking from my own questing experiences on this board, the last time I saw a situation like this, i.e. a human being outed to non-humans, the GM revealed post-mortem that the only right move would have been to own up to being human.

So, yeah. That's my reasoning for voting for this.

Although in that particular situation, the move was so suicidally stupid that the enemy character would have concluded that they must be a brain-damaged shapeshifter or something.

I have no problem with voting for interesting things. I have in fact not voted once to gain more power, in favor of the interpersonal relationships and the plot of going to go see Ichigo or our family. I do not really care for power levels and would mostly be content in see social interaction. However my votes for this never won in favor of paying more attention to Tatsuki and other things. Please do not assume to know what I want.

As for the rest of your response you seem to have completely misunderstood what I was talking about or even the kind of quest that this is. Take a look at those tags up there. 'Bad decisions' 'Bed Making''. At the very least, in this quest, voting for is not about 'THIS WOULD BE COOL' 'OMG LULZ'. It's about making wise choices.

Do you think we made a wise choice by faffing about and not giving mister hollow an explanation about Tatsuki? Not to mention going with him to begin with, which was naive in the extreme.

Unresolved issues, Lils?
Flashbacks for the most part.

Lots and lots of flashbacks.

Why is this at all relevant to this quest that you had to share it?

I just want Tatsuki and Blanca to survive.

And then rub it in Ichigo's stupid ugly dumb face that doesn't look like ours.

I mean that was the whole point of this...

right...?

I'm pretty sure the 'bed making' and 'no bait' tags are new. Which is reminding me of that one Dark General Quest.

Though at this point, it's kind of making me more apathetic than anything else.

Not to sound like a whiner, but it would kinda be nice if @TPK would give some nudges or correct misconceptions when some of these bad decisions are going on, especially if it's making him irritated. Credit where it's due, he's definitely willing to write out our choices and hasn't been unfair about the consequences of our choices either. But some communication between players and GM could help prevent situations where both sides are unhappy with the situation.

About the only way we'd get out of this situation relatively cleanly is if they let us leave, or we spontaneously develop Garganta. Which, admittedly, is on the table although

I have provided such warnings in other quests, to which the response was 'stop railroading us!'.

I don't know or don't remember the context of the warnings and reactions in the other Quests, but if giving people hints on forseeable consequences or correcting their mistaken assumptions is railroading, then I have no idea what to say.

I don't know, that sounds kind of painful. Test it on Tatsuki first. She can regenerate, right?
No, that was an actual quest ending vote for TPK a while back. And it wasn't even worded right: they were trying to get Shinigami powers back or something, and then voted for commiting suicide by stabbing themselves in the heart.
