Gamehammer 40K(Warhammer 40K/The Gamer)

You seems to be under impression what I want to summon demons, prolly because my vote mentions asking yourself if we could do that.

Meh.

It was more of a "What this actually does" kind of vote. Perhaps I should have wrote in "Could we summon Satan?", that certainly would have cleared up the situation, but I though it was clear enough as it is, considering the mishmash of questions.
Makes sense. Sorry, I guess I'm a little paranoid when it comes to warp related stuff.

@mrttao I don't think that arm-wrestling is a good idea. Usually Gamer's body would be a boon, but in this case it means that we could actually die from nothing but arm injuries. And considering that the Ork is 23 levels above us, one over-enthusiastic slam of the arm could pixelate us-assuming that that's what happens when a Gamer dies.
I figure it won't kill us, just injure us a bit.
which would get us started on physical resistance skill as well as arm wrestling as a skill.
plus it would be hilarious

My vote is pretty much his, since people aren't voting for my - clearly superior - plan, and his is better than the alternative.

[X] Plan BG
basically my plan, minus the arm wrestling, which I can live with

Could you summon demons?
why would we want to do this thing?

[X] Ask our cellmate why he is here. And if he is willing to work with us to escape.
-[X] This amazing boon from the emperor said we have been blessed with the ability to rapidly grow in skills. Lets see just how rapid it is. Start excercising. Start with pushups, then move to one handed pushups, to handstand-pushups, one handed handstand-pushup.
-[X] Observe your cell, try to see if there is anything you can make a makeshift melee weapon from. Most games have some way of knowing what effects items have, see if you can imitate that.
-[X] Pray to the Emperor. Maybe he would be willing to lend a bit of protection?
-[X] Meditate to stay calm and keep your mind in order once you are fatigued.

[X] RevisedEmperor's own Gamer
[X] Alright alone in a filthy Xeno prison with no backup and weird power... doesn't matter The Emperor has a plan and so do I
-[X] Step one observe my surroundings in detail these primitive Xeno's have to have some flaws in their prison
-[X] Step two figure out what i know of the warp. it's crazy But obviously this power comes from the Emperor so i need to use it to the fullest.
--[X] Pray to the Emperor's for Guidance in fulfilling his will
-[X] Step three From what I can recall there where a few entertainment devices back home... maybe my power has the same commands? Pause,Menu,Tutorial,Inventory?
No. of Votes: 2
[X] Look for any suspiciously large air vents leading out of the cell.
-[X] Failing that, hide under the beds in the cell if there are any. When a guard comes to investigate your disappearance, pray your Xenos cellmate can take him.

[X] Grill the guy for information, while you do 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and 100 squats along with running 10 km. In circles
No. of Votes: 1
[X] Observe your surroundings for anything what could be useful later. Pay attention to all details.
[X]Grill your cellamate for information. Why exactly he is here, Where is "Here" in more details, what is nearby, where are other prisoners, what is going to happen to us, etc, not necessary in this order.
[X] Lore of Warp. You don't know how or why you know it, but you know it well. So, do you know anything anything particulary relevant to your current situation? Could you summon demons? Throw arcane fire at your enemies? Build a warp-drive? Turn yourself into omnipotent manifestation of warp energies? Anything?
[X] Aside from Lore of Warp, there is a whole set of new unknown things you suddenly discovered about yourself. What your new abilities really do? Test you limits. Exercise physically, see the limites of your strength and endurance. Pushups, running, whatever.
-[X]If this increases your stats, keep grinding.

why would we want to do this thing?
Why, I want to summon Satan. Or at least, some Chaos Gods.

I mean, sheesh, I already explained my plan on this very page. TL: DR we summon Satan, turn him into mecha, and then fly him to Terra, ram the Astranomicon with his giant red demonic body and once the lights go out, we forge our own star kingdom.
River of sarcasm is flowing freely.
Shit will be rad, yo.
plus it would be hilarious
No, it's going to be stupid. Shitty forced slapstick comedy is bad.

I'm not sure but does the luck stat cover anything important in this quest? So would it be okay to keep it low?

Yeah no we need to feed that luck stat every spare point we can get.

we can train everything else LUK is untrainable and it effects loot drops and critical hits ( both are very much needed in this verse) at least it could also have an effect on well our luck random stuff going our way.

as soon as we get an IC status view we need to fiquire out how each of our stats work

Will oppose dumping points on luck for because practical reasons, and because I absolutely refuse to see the third quest going that route.

Really Cause most of the quests I have seen Absolutely ignore and neglect the LUK stat . and leaving a stat that governs drops ( if not more important things) seems like a bad idea considering we are a squishy human

Now that voting seems to have bandwagoned, Time for commenting.

Ork Convict
As other's have noted, we don't know who or what he betrayed. We also don't know whether he accepts this title, so we probably shouldn't mention it.
New Quest!
Escape Lockdowns Penitentiary
Reward: 600 EXP, 1 Fate
Fate for such a simple quest? If you're that lenient with fate, then something tells me we'll be dieing a lot.
That....explained something. What was a gamer, however?
Do we not know what video games are? Completely likely, seeming as it's the imperium and the tech level varies incredibly.
You decide to move on. Emperors Favor was...Well, slightly overwhelming. After all, how many could say that the Emperor smiled upon them? Though you were a bit confused. What was a fate point? What was a Gold Quest?
Indeed, that's kinda big. Receiving direct commands from the emperor is something that only the living saints and a few other edge cases can really claim.
If you want a weapon - that's fair, even if I don't think what stabbing giant green bulletproof humanoids to death with a shiv is going to happen any time soon - make it something concealable, since otherwise it's just going to be taken away.

Though, there is a fair chance what they are going to take it away regardless of it being a fullsized lasgan or just some small sharpened piece of glass or stone, since PC has no skills in item concealment whatsoever and probably couldn't smuggle a fly past a sleeping guy.
Once we get our inventory(if we even have one) that should cease to be a concern.

Most embarrassing bad end ever.
@Maragas I edited my plan on further reflection-he might not be a traitor to Orkkind, but rather to his former warboss. Either way, probably best not to ask an Ork for a spar either. They don't really know what "restraint" means.
How would one betray ork-kind anyway?
Third-I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here. Is there a specific part of my plan that you are objecting to?

Fourth, let's avoid any obvious workings of magic quite yet. If you will check the front page, you will notice that we do not have Gamer's Mind. And the most readily accessible magic is sorcery, which is inherently corrupting.

Finally, that's what I'm doing, but cautiously. We really don't want to accidentally draw the attentions of any Daemons around.
I wonder how daemons would see us? We're quite the anomaly.

I wonder how the high INT/WIS/WP bonuses react with the warp in this?

Really.

Level relevant stats not to be squishy anymore, then. Like Endurance or STR. Humans might be squishy, but not so much when they are hight-level heroes or psykers.

Or we get High tier loot ( that we can farm and arm our Minions with) and kill things dead. in this universe weapons are complete bullshit and far more useful than being slightly stronger ( im willing to bet that for it to be useful we would need to raise our STR to absurd levels considering a Humans Low Base level) Normal humans survive either by outnumbering the other guy 4 to 1, Having Super psyker powers ( which im all for getting) or by haveing much better equipment

Why in the world would you think that luck is not trainable? all we have to do is start gambling and we will grind luck.
And loot drops and crit hits does not justify dumping all the points into it

  1. Like their are many Non chaosy Casinos that a low level PDF can get into
  2. do we even know how that will work?
  3. for all we know it also governs you know Luck ,and frankly luck will be the best thing to keep us alive until we are strong enough.
  4. Loot drops could give us things like Power swords, shields, Artifacts, weapons, all sorts of stuff that can help us immensely if only to give us something to bribe inquisitors from killing us

1. We are currently in an orc prison. If we survive this we won't be a low level PDF anymore. Also, we are literally blessed by the emperor. another thing that makes us not a low level PDF. Also, you don't need casino, gambling away your wages using dice or cards with the other PDF is still gambling.
2. No, but we know it will work
3. The issue is that you are suggesting that given the choice between strength and luck, we should go for luck over strength.
4. Nobody is saying that loot isn't awesome, it is a matter of opportunity cost. Dumping all points into luck means not having points to raise our other stats

Or we get High tier loot...
In how many games you had seen high-tier equipment dropping from rabbits?

To defeat enemies which drop shit worth anything, your character needs to be of certain power. To defeat those enemies, character needs to be of certain power and yes, equipment - but it is a balance, and neglecting your character's primary stats is going to end in a disaster if you don't have the stats to properly wield good guns and swords - if you can even get them, which is unlikely, because character is subpar.

Better get good equipment from quests and boss-monsters than waste time.

in this universe weapons are complete bullshit and far more useful than being slightly stronger ( im willing to bet that for it to be useful we would need to raise our STR to absurd levels considering a Humans Low Base level)

...Also, half the universe chops things with swords. Surely, STR or DEX are not useful. No, we need to invest in Luck so we could hope what some random harmless gretching drops a legendary hammer which we then will be unable to lift.

Normal humans survive either by outnumbering the other guy 4 to 1,
Say that to every human hero who chopped apart horrible gribblies with a not-so-legendary chainsword or shot orcs with flaslights lasguns to death.

Right, first, gather information, see if you could get the xeno to aid you. As distasteful as it may be, you would need all the help you could get to get out of this situation. "So, uh, why you here?" You asked. Briefly looking up from the tome he was reading, Bigtoof grunted. "I may 'av tried t' get the warboss killed by messin wif 'is personal vehicle. 'az you can guess, he didn't take kindly to that. Nearly krumped me. Bad luck fer me 'is Oddboy Kommando stepped in, decided it'd be a betta idea t' make a example out of me."

...

Well. Traitorboy wasn't unearned then. "Okay. Well. I for one intend to escape here, but I doubt I can do it alone. You willing to assist?" You ask bluntly. The Ork paused for a moment, then let out a bellowing laugh. "AHAHAHA! Y-you thinkz ya can escape? Ya dumb git, ain't no one escaped the prison! Not any Orks tossed in here, not any humies, not even the beaky Lockdown keeps 'as is own personal trophy!"

You'd take that as a no, then.

You decide to move on, doing some exercises. After all, the boxes had said that you could increase your abilities rapidly. You start with pushups. After about thirty minutes of this, you switch to using only one hand to raise yourself up and down. After another thirty minutes, you collapse onto your bunk, exausted.

STR has increased by 5

Thank the emperor!

You spend another ten minutes doing your best to meditate, to collect your thoughts.

Meditation LV 1(0.0%)
Calm your mind and empty your thoughts. +1% WP, +1% WIS, Mana Regen increased by 1% while meditating.

Useful. You spend a little improving that skill, before moving on again. This time, you attempt to find something to use as a makeshift weapon. Luckily for you, ork construction tends to prefer haphazard assembly. Specifically, you were able to yank one of the sharper bars off your cell door.

Gained Sharpened Bar!

Okay, you had a weapon. Now to take a moment and pray to the Emperor.

You sat down, placed your hands together, and silently praised the God Emperor, and asked him for a way out of this situation.

It was at that moment a huge explosion could be heard, rocking the prison, and your cell door swinging open. You can hear the Ork gaurds scurry off to investigate the source of the incident. You blink for a moment, then grin!

The Emperor Protects!

[ ] Okay but what now?

The Emperor Protects!
He sure does! (I seriously didn't expect results so fast)

[X] The door opened when you prayed for a way out, surely this is a sign that you should actually walk through it. And it happened just as the xenos came under attack, which has to be from your fellow humans. Now is the time, sneak around looking for your fellow prisoners and their affects. Your goal is to free and arm them so that you can hit the orcs from the rear and rejoin the human forces
