Gamehammer 40K(Warhammer 40K/The Gamer)

Sorry it took so long, first draft was deleted by accident, so I had to rewrite what I had.

Adeptas Sororitas
You pump up your luck, raising it from a pitiful 1 to a slightly less tiny 10. Immediately you hear a ding.

Your Loot Tier has been raised! Your loot tier is now (1)!
Your loot tier is the quality of loot you can salvage from enemies! You can raise it by increasing your luck or by holding onto special items!

Well. That was...nice? You put your remaining point into INT, reasoning that being able to think more clearly was always a boon. Indeed, you feel your thoughts speed up a little. Closing your screen, you wait for the others to begin moving again.

You walk into what appears to be a cargo bay. All along the ground are various Ork corpses, charred and burnt. At the back you can see a shuttle, with wisps of smoke rising from it. At the center of the bay is a group of white haired women in intricate powered armor.

Adepta Sororitas.

A shiver runs down your spine as you lay eyes on the brides of the emperor. You had heard tales of the Sororitas, of the Sisters of Battle, from various off worlders. Very few of those stories good.

They spot your group and raise their weapons, only for a voice to ring out. "HALT! LET ME THROUGH!" The Sisters pause, and split forth, allowing another Sister of Battle, her power armor a bright silver, to step forth. "Greetings. I am Sister Ophelia, of the Order of the Argent Shroud." She says, pronouncing her words slowly and with care. "Judging by your Garb, I assume you are of the Caleondian Rough Riders?" She says to Captain Knock, who nods.

"Nice t' meetcha sister. Always good t' see a friendly face in a place like this." He says, with a grim smile. Sister Ophelia nods.

"Likewise. We have much to discuss." She turns to the other Sororitas. "You all, guard the door lest more Orks get in, and try and repair the shuttle!" She turns back to Knock. "Now, since you're here, I believe we can discuss our next move." Knock nods, and turns to the rest of his men. "Alright, rest of you, try and look busy while me and the Sister talk shop!" With that, he walks over to Ophelia, and both of them dissapear to a dark corner of the bay for the time being.

Well. It seems like you had a moment.

What Do?

[ ] Check with the Sisters trying to repair the shuttle
[ ] Help Guard the Door
[ ] You spied a odd individual, with a robe over their armor, whom most of the guardsmen seemed to avoid
[ ] A few of the men were playing a game off to the corner. Perhaps they would let you join them?

It also improves the critical hit chance. As for encounters, while I don't use tables for that, higher luck does give bonuses to encounters.
Oh good, exactly why I voted for luck. I guess, still encountering the same enemy but at a more advantageous manner (we happened to get the drop on him instead of vice versa) is huge. also crit hits FTW.

What about the Astartes?
presumably the lead PDF guy is telling the lead sister of battle about him right now and then they will plan to rescue him. We currently do not have the authority to just barge into the conversation
although the shady guy is probably an assassin or an inquisitor and when we talk to him if we let it slip he might take us to talk to them. maybe.

Actually I feel this is a good chance to decide what we want to do with the character. I am sure that if we work on repair we would likely be scouted by the mechanicus and likely join them later and quickly rise through there (and we can always go biologis)
On the other hand, the assassin/inquisitor presents another obvious path.
I am not sure about the gambling path
Guarding the door is likely a chance for more XP
All of it is a bit meta

When in doubt, identify mysterious character first.
