That's been confirmed:@Nictis, probably a very stupid question, but the scum abilities have a drawback as well, right?
They are the same abilities as on the wiki, except that each has a hidden drawback that only the Mafia know about.
Thanks, missed that one. As I said, stupid question
Setting up a potential mislynch? This, along with your stuff about Meso later in the post, sounds like you're going to vote on meso, but when he flips village you plan to be all 'I told you so'. If we lynch him and he's village, you're my next suspect.
@Nictis, probably a very stupid question, but the scum abilities have a drawback as well, right?
The theater, the theater, what's happened to the theater?!??!
What do you mean? We know how many scum there are. I don't think they could be dousing and killing on the same nights so we definitely have another day. Or rather if they are able to kill and douse simultaneously, we're already doomed.Setting up a potential mislynch?
And if there even is a tomorrow.
It's possible that they've already doused. Then they could simply kill tonight. We don't know if that's the case or not, but it's possible. What do you mean? We know how many scum there are. We have at most one more mistake we can make before we lose the game. Possibly zero. So we need to kill mafia now. It's possible that they've already doused. Then they could simply kill tonight. We don't know if that's the case or not, but it's possible.
I've never been town before, but mechanically speaking. Claiming gives us nothing right? The Scum would know what roles don't exist, so they have a buffer they can simply step into. Thus not giving any information to town I feel. But, that's just my personal thoughts on the matter. It's at best a risky proposition that I simply don't know how it would work.
Yes, I agree with that. However, what mechanical advantage does everyone claiming their roles provide for town? Scum could simply roleclaim a role they know isn't in play.We have at most one more mistake we can make before we lose the game. Possibly zero. So we need to kill mafia now.
This is what TMI looks like to me.What do you mean? We know how many scum there are. I don't think they could be dousing and killing on the same nights so we definitely have another day. Or rather if they are able to kill and douse simultaneously, we're already doomed.
What's your drawback?I'm a fool, with the ability to visit a person out of three randomly chosen.
Yeah. I think I can help a bit. I'm the Cop. Unfortunately, I have a very big drawback, one of the scum each night is immune to my investigation. Night one I tried to visit InterstellarHobo, but I was roleblocked. Last night I visited @Young Pyromancer and got a town result. Of course, there is a 1 in three chance I'll read scum as town and I don't know if that is the same as or in addition to the lawyer. We have at most one more mistake we can make before we lose the game. Possibly zero. So we need to kill mafia now.
for a reason why We should actually go about doing this.
The ability is visiting. The drawback is it has to be one of a certain random group.
It's not D1. We have our backs against the wall. I would rather hear from Tykan and Swarm and Zaealix first though.for a reason why We should actually go about doing this.
Since as far as I can see it's simply harmful to town. Since all mafia already know what roles are in play and which aren't thus allowing them perfect cover for this mass claiming. Which makes any role claims on our side have no real use in my eyes. Thus, I don't see value in it. For now until that's resolved I'm not going to go about telling you my role.
Could that be the lawyer listed in the mafia abilities?Unfortunately, I have a very big drawback, one of the scum each night is immune to my investigation.
I hope so.
