[X] Boneripper rips the Necromancer Lord sapping his life off and throws him at 1 to minimize the time he's exposed to its effects, then goes for Necromancer Lord 3 with a Warpfire blast, then heads for 1 Thanquol casts Death Frenzy on Boneripper if Necromancer Lord 1 evades his grasp.
-[X] Thanquol makes as if to run-only partially true-so as to distract 3 from Boneripper's Warpfire and get out of the Ash Storm. He takes opportunities as they come-or as needed- to hit 3 and 1 with Burning Wrath.

@Xantalos
If instead of overrunning territories like the Empire or Bretonnia as a whole we spend authorities to conquer them piecemeal (like one or two provinces or duchies at a time) is there a possibilitiy to loot more shinies and/or tech ideas?
I still think we should have taken Sylvania like two turns ago.

If we started this off with taking Sylvania I don't think Nagash could really come back to life properly.

Probably too late for that now though.

He could've tried to retake it from us via the use of overwhelming force.
Not to mention the Empire would've been uncomfortably close to us.

It wouldn't have mattered though, the actual province itself is useless. I think one of his books that are necessary for his resurrection were there, and Manfred was definitely there and he was integral to Nagash's success. Eliminating either of these factors would have meant we fulfilled our goal, and we could take the book and/or Manfred's remains to our capital and it would have been completely secure.

All we needed was the stuff in Sylvania, the actual territory is useless. Raid and loot the place and then leave and there would have been absolutely no problems.

We will cross that bridge when the time comes.
If we are lucky he will be more focused on fighting the Orcs in the Badlands, the Tomb Kings and Chaos.
Not to mention that as we are now we are really close to his base of operations.

Honestly I really hope my plan of "literally just send Settra a letter saying that Nagash is back/trying to get back and that we will completley avoid him until that's settled" happens at some point.

My real plan was tell literally everyone that Nagash is back, even Chaos hates that guy, but the rest of the voters didn't seem to like that idea so I'm settling for Settra.

He probably already knows.
Also, are you sure that maybe the other won't believe them? We are Skaven. You know, the ones universally known to be traitorous backstabbers of the highest order?
And even if they knew, they already have their share of problems.

Most certainly - the more time a place has to fight against you the more it'll be able to deploy its unique units and such.

This'll also kinda tie in with some alterations I make come turn 3 where I slow down the resolution of some events so that everything's not over instantaneously and the world enters a more realistic state of being on fire.

That's awesome, heh.

To give an update on the update: I'm currently working on the next turn for Respect Your Elders and making good progress there. Once I'm done that I'm gonna turn over to this. This does mean that until then you can hypothetically propose another plan if you want.

I haven't actually read the ones voted for, so this isn't anything about them, just a note that there's time for changes if someone wants to for whatever reason.

By the way, is the sequel of this quest going to be like Respect your Elders, with the Skaven going to 40k?

Yeah. And I'm at loss on how to take on the Southern and Northern Wastes.
Space Lasers.

I explained a long time ago that the best Superweapon we can develop is two superweapons. One is a portal to the Warpstone moon so we have infinite warpstone power, and one is a giant Space Laser that we can use to nuke armies from space.

The best thing about these is that we can use them a ton, it's real hard to interfere with them, it's real hard to destroy them, and the Space Laser is pure tech so we can presumably just make a bunch of them.

Just destroy all of our enemies from space like it's not even a thing.

Opening a portal to Morrslieb... isn't that place full of Deamons because of all the Warpstone? Also, we might want to create something resembling a space suit since we would be in space.

That's not an unsurmountable problem.

Firstly, let's remember that the Chaos Dwarves could bind Daemons to weapons to make extra powerful weapons, and this is something we can reverse engineer from them. So, in one respect, this is actually a good thing, as all of those Daemons are essentially just a giant pile of power ups.

Second, let's acknowledge that we also have Daemons and that the moon doesn't fall under any particular deities sway. I imagine that all we'd need to do is establish a small area of safety first and then we could throw down a ritual to make it so that only our daemons pop up on the moon, or cast that ritual we were talking about developing to transform daemons of other Chaos Gods into Skaven Daemons which is probably a thing we can do.

Third, remember, this is a Warpstone moon, and enough Warpstone for Skaven Mages means we can do anything. I'm pretty sure Thanquol could just shove his face into the floor and snort for a solid minute and be able to solo a moon full of Daemons.

I'm not saying dealing with the moon full of daemons won't be difficult, I just think it's possible and worthwhile.

Also, we might want to create something resembling a space suit since we would be in space.

Yes, of course. Eventually, inevitably, I want to figure out a way to get Oxygen up there ... but we'll still need some space suits anyway because I want some lasers/satellites that aren't directly on the moon as well.

Or explode.

There's a limit for ingested warpstone going from helpful to destabilizing. Thanquol has an unusually high limit for getting high, but not infinite.

Being able to strip mine Morrslieb will give us a lot of Warpstone, yes, but even that giant mass of raw Chaos isn't going to last forever.

Now, if/when we take over the world and we pull the same thing Thanquol and Verminking did during the End Times and teleport the entire planet into the Warp... now that is really going to give us Unlimited Warpstone Works. Just don't dig too deep and we'll be fine.

Alternatively we could do the same thing, only on a smaller scale, if we conquer the Chaos Wastes.
