...Seriously though, this is another perfect time for a command seal, just need to figure out how to best use it.
And how to convey that to Ilya - and get her to act on it - before Saber decides that her arms are getting tired or whatever she's waiting for happens.

To be fair, it's not like people don't already convey an improbable amount of words and information in the heat of combat in canon.

I mean we're not at talking is a free action, but if memory serves canon gives us a fair bit of leeway.

Battle in the Rain
[X] Leave Ilya and Sella in the car and dogpile Saber together with all your clones.

Ilya whimpers, then inhales sharply as she sees the dark Servant. Neither the strange mask she's wearing nor the changes to her armor and sword conceal her identity. You open the door, hating how long it takes to rise, and disengage the seatbelt, and once there's enough space for you to slip through you slide out from under Ilya and shoot out from the car. You turn to keep track of Saber and throw your clones out - one to your left, closer to the car, and the other two to your right - and the four of you charge through the rain toward her. Instead of surprising her, however she simply shifts her stance and brings the sword down, unleashing the black energy building up around the blade. The two clones to your right are destroyed and the right side of your body goes numb with the radiating energy and rain, but you're still alive. Ignoring the sound and fury behind you where Saber's attack carves into the mountain, you follow your clone's lead and slam into Saber. Your clone hits her body, trapping the blade for an instant and driving her claws into the breastplate, while you hit the Servant's legs, sinking your good hand into the exaggerated tassets protecting her right leg. You keep moving, driving Saber through the road-guard and tumbling her down the hill into the forest.

You look back as you flex your scorched hand, working feeling back into it, and it seems that the road is impassable for the car, at least until the rubble gets cleared away. That shouldn't take too long, but it will need doing. A faint glimmer of darkness alerts your clone and the two of you throw yourselves away from the edge … but Saber is much too dangerous to let live, and you'll have to find her again. Your clone hurls herself down into the forest and you scowl at the sky - you've got a time limit, and you don't know what backup Saber might have.

"Lady Flandre!" You grin confidently at Sella and wave even as Saber cuts your clone apart.

"I'll be right back, Sella! Don't worry!" Laevateinn appears in your hand and your clones follow as you dive down the cliff. Hopefully Ilya won't do anything silly, like sending Berserker after you - it would be much better to keep him around for her own safety. And in the trees you're sheltered from the rain, at least a little … hopefully enough that you can have a bit of a snack. Between the rain and having to send out your clones a second time, it's the least Saber can do for you! Another blast from her sword almost catches you off-guard, but now you know where she is, and your clones dart forward as you advance, surrounding her. She doesn't wait for you, however, and rushes forward to make a crushing overhand strike. You hold Laevateinn in both hands to block it and are driven into the soggy ground for your trouble. Your clones dash in to take advantage of her distraction, but she senses their approach and whirls to face them as you pull yourself out of the muck.

One clone traps her blade in its own body momentarily, but even as she works to rip the blade out she lashes out with an armored fist to shatter the face of another clone. She tries to face your attack and defend against the other clone, but you're crowding her too much, and she can't stop you from thrusting Laevateinn through her torso. She still manages to pull herself off and eliminate your last clone, and she doesn't seem affected by the injuries you've inflicted on her. You grin and lick your lips eagerly as she faces you expressionlessly, but it's a false confidence. The trees offer some protection from the rain, but not much, and you've already taken longer and used more energy on this fight than you'd planned. She's definitely a more skilled fighter, and even if she doesn't have your maneuverability, she doesn't need it if you want to keep fighting her this way. And with the way she was firing those blasts, she probably doesn't have an energy supply problem. But now you can see her eye again, and you cradle it loosely in your left hand.

What do you do?

[ ] Break her and get back to Ilya.

[ ] See if you can withdraw without further fighting.

[ ] Other?

[X] Break her and get back to Ilya.

It's revealing the trump card again, and Sakura will most likely know about it now, but this is precisely the kind of situation we keep our trump cards for.

Arc...could quite easily be watching us right now, so if she doesn't know she will soon. But blackened Saber is not the kind of foe you fuck around with.

[X] Break her and get back to Ilya.

...Yeah, I'd really like to keep this from the people I'm completely sure are actually watching right now, but we're in a bad enough spot that we are not going to be able to kill her without doing this, and there is no way in hell I'm going to vote to let her Corrupted Saber get away.

Hmm....I wonder if we've endeared ourselves to Ilya enough, and are in a tight enough situation, that Ilya would consider giving Berserker back his sanity?

I mean it is absolutely a gamble to have Herk still friendly from an OOC perspective, but metawise Herk broke his limits to revive himself a 13th time against Gilgamesh in an attempt to save Ilya. He's about as attached to Ilya as she is to him, so it would actually work out well for us.

How much will this screw with the timelines though? Since Saber isn't actually a servant in the way the others are. She's still alive as of the moment, and breaking her eye means there won't be a conversation with Bedivere if i remember correctly... Though Fanon may have messed me up a bit with the exact point at which Saber made her contract with the world...

[X] Break her and get back to Ilya.

Changing vote due to explosive geography.

If Saber dies, the Sakura situation will likely grow worse. If we're going to save as many of our friends from this world as possible, we have to leave Saber alive.
