No need to make them use any more magic.
They need fuel to fight. We don't.
Helps them conserve Grief Seeds.

Also, less chance of Mami needing to borrow our spare head :V

I'd prefer to keep her as a pet, but I can't honestly see any way to pull that off without killing (or at least putting the fear of God Flan into) Mami. And that will also alienate Madoka, get Kyouko pissed with us, and possibly lose us Homerun's help too (at least partly due to aforementioned Madoka alienation).

- [X] Convince them to let you hold on the Charlotte's Griefseed.
--[X] If necessary trade her Griefseed for one we had from before if we have one.

We can always play with Charlotte later anyway ...

Honestly, I was not expecting the witch to ignore us. We were going to kill it anyways so we might as well solo it.

You sigh. Both Mamis you met seem to have the strangest obsession with pointing firearms in your vicinity. Oh well ... you suppose you could use the exercise, if Witches are as tough as you remember. And since this little plush-doll of a Witch doesn't seem to have any offensive abilities, so there's no need for you to change! You'll just have to make sure Remilia doesn't hear about this ....

"Okay, fine, I get it. You want this dead, right? How about you let me kill it? No need for you guys to tire yourselves out any more." You grin sweetly down at them, and Madoka falters a bit, looking over at Mami. After a moment, Homura sighs and steps back, dismissing her magical uniform.

"Homura-chan?!"

"Flandre can handle this by herself, I believe, if we let her ... and my arm is hurting more." She presses around her right shoulder, but Madoka hurries over to her and makes her stop.

"Homura-chan, stop that! Um ...."

Mami still stands facing you, however, weapon aimed up at the Witch. "... Alright, Scarlet-san. If you want to fight this Witch, go ahead - but I'll be ready in case you fall. It only takes a moment of carelessness to let a Witch gain the upper hand." The weapon she was holding glows as ribbons wrap around it, and it enlarges into a large mounted gun of some kind. You giggle.

"Oh, you don't need to worry - there won't be any problems!" You turn to the Witch and hop to your feet. "I'm sorry, but it looks like you have to die now. Feel free to scream~" You lunge forward and down, driving your claws through the doll's-body - but that's not the end of it. Instead, its head rears back, and a massive black worm with a white-painted face throws itself out of the tiny body. It shoots up, then dives down at you, and you stand, waiting for it to try and eat you. It's always fun to tear something apart from the inside!

But that doesn't happen. It lunges forward, reaches you, and puts its mouth over you - but instead of chomping down, cutting through your stomach and swallowing you in two bites ... its jaws come together almost gently, and it throws you away. For a moment, you simply fly through the air, confused. Then the rage comes. How dare it? How DARE it!! You hurl yourself forward, interposing yourself between the magicians and the worthless creature that had the gall to throw you away! You arrest your movement, and the Witch slams into your outstretched hand, hiking up as its body tries to continue its own forward movement, and the Witch stares at you with what seems to be confusion. Then you look down.

Yes. Yes, that is a hole in you. Rather a large one, all things considered - and you can see the scoring down the Witch's flank where the ball skipped along it. One hand still holding the Witch motionless, you turn your head to the side to look behind you with a single baleful eye. Yes, Mami is standing right there, frozen in the act of drawing another weapon, smoke still dispersing from her cannon. Her face is pale, and her expression matches the one you know as "I've made a very large mistake, and I hope I don't get into too much trouble." Madoka is staring at you as well, eyes fixed on the wound in your torso, but whether she's staring in fear or shock is too hard to tell. Homura ... almost looks pleading.

"She attacked you! She broke the deal and she attacked you!" "Shut up, Headless." Your injury dissolves - it's not worth the effort to try and recover the mass lost to the attack, so you simply regenerate the flesh, bone, and muscle, rebuilding your torso in an instant. "No, she deserves punishment! She should be destroyed! If you let them think they can get away with -" "I told you to be QUIET!!!" You shriek at Headless, who flees from your wrath, and turn back to the Witch. "You. You ought not to have sought a way to avoid fighting me. If combat with your better is what you wished to avoid, your duty lay in a quiet death, without an attempt at reprisal. Instead, you have spurned a simple death, and I will ensure that you suffer." One-handed, you throw the pitiful youkai to the ground. It quivers for a moment, then tries to worm away from you. You look at it, and you see its Eye ... and carefully, oh so gently you ... scrape the Eye with a single talon.

The effect is immediate. The youkai arcs up, doubles up, twists around ... but it's all futile. There is no escape from having your very existence scraped away at the source. You drift forward, drift down, land nearby, and stride the rest of the distance to the fallen youkai. You could simply dash in, rip it to pieces in an instant, but this is all just a performance. The presentation of a kill is so very important to inflicting a feeling of inferiority, so much so that even if it's inefficient or difficult to do so, it is often much more important to generate the myth of invulnerability in those watching. You are inevitable. That is what it means to defy the Scarlet Sisters. Remilia is the Inevitable Fate, and you are the Inevitable Death. There are no gods capable of stopping you, of changing the fate of one who has been marked by your sister, of preventing the death you inflict so casually. And the youkai ... the youkai keens, as if to beg you for mercy. You smile.

"You ought not to have sought a path around me, but through me." And then you begin, holding the worthless creature in place with your sheer presence, to flense it, using only a single claw. You will not sully the precious gift from your sister by so much as allowing this cur, this misbegotten mongrel, to see it. You are not done quickly. The youkai shivers and trembles the whole time ... and, eventually, a smile works its way across your face. You are not a tormentor by nature - death and destruction are your own, not suffering - but before the youkai finally expires, you have purged your unneeded stresses, cleansed yourself of the uncertainties you have suffered. The wonderland world evaporates around you, fading away like a night-born dream, replaced by a modern world bathed in sunlight. A Grief Seed falls to the ground nearby, and you absently pick it up before drawing forth your parasol.

Remilia will come for you, in her own good time. Until then, you are free to do as you please, in whatever worlds you find yourself in. To that end ... perhaps a certain young magician can be enraptured?

She saw us giving Lutecia the blanket, so asking her about Lutecia should make it a bit easier to socialize with Lutecia

Where are Mami and co right now?

School. (Not that Flan knows that.)

Also, I keep finding typos. There's like ... three I'm aware of. I've just let them stay there :V Give the thread character.
Did they leave whilst we were tormenting the Witch to death? It's just that the last mention of them is right after Mami shot us, so I'm a little confused as to what they did/what happened to them after that, what they were doing whilst Flan was indulging herself, how long we took finishing the Witch off, etc.

... how long we took finishing the Witch off, etc.
Well, Flan woke up around dusk (... "The sky is red, signaling the fall of night upon the land, and you stretch. Yes, now is the time to go for an excursion ...."), spent a few hours looking for a Witch, talked with Charlotte for about half an hour before Mami and Friends showed up ... and now it's morning. But yeah, they left a bit after Flan started peeling the Witch. Because frankly, Witches may be horrible monsters, but it's quite disturbing to see one writhing on the floor while a little girl cuts its skin off with her fingernails. More than that ... eh, maybe Kyubey knows? :p

I Didn't MEAN to Shoot Her!
Heh. Mini omake. I try to write what I think happened.

"I..didn't want to shoot her!" a horrified Mami stared at the little monster girl who can as easily drink tea with a Witch as to kill her, and who was right now arguing with herself if to fight Mami over the mistake or not. Both she and Madoka didn't saw the horror in Homura's face and the relief when the 'sane' Flandre won, and instead of attacking Mami jabbed one finger in Charlotte's eye while berating the poor creature. In several minutes the magical girls for the first time in their carrier felt sorry for a Witch. The poor creature was writhing in agony and pleading for mercy obviously while Flandre was slowly , with a feral grin running her fingers over her body, leaving deep scratches behind.

"I don't think," Homura tugged at their arms, "that we need to see what Flandre will do to the Witch. She is obviously winning, and trust me, when she is in that mood, you DON'T want to be near her! I tell you later why. Besides, we should get some sleep, we have a school tomorrow. And I need for you, Mami, to look at my arm anyway. So, let us go, please?"

"Yeah," Madoka, who was a bit green, took the chance. "It don't seem Flandre even CAN loose. And, well.." And with last frightened, and unease glance at the being that couldn't be human, she hurried away.

Mami decided to follow. "Homura," she murmured as the three magical girls run through the Labyrinth, the strange familiars running around in panic, ignoring the girls, "what the hell is Flandre? She isn't a human, is she? And is she schizophrenic? What is going on?"

"I swear, I tell you later," Homura, white as a wall, answered. "Let's just say, we are incredibly lucky, she knew, you shot her by mistake. I saw her do incredible and horrible things to those who offended her." 'Mostly you,' the black haired time traveller thought. 'She told me, she still has your head somewhere. And your Soulstone too.'

If you do not mind, please explain red text and yellow text. Unless this is something we have to figure out in character, please tell us if the two are Deadpool analogy (ie Fladre is merely crazy) or if the two are related to the soul gems. She has a yellow gem and a red gem. Would be cool if these two voices come from those witches.

... Headless (Red Text Voice) has been with Flandre for centuries (before 1640). Yellow Voice (as I explained a couple times previously) is one of Headless's attempts to 'create' sisters for herself, but which backfired when she 'woke up' prematurely. Their exact nature ... They are unrelated to the Soul Gems, that's simply (unintentional) coincidence. Flandre currently considers Headless a friend, more or less, but has been contemplating either locking away the Yellow Voice behind her own internal barriers so that Remilia and/or Patchouli can study it, or simply going in and exterminating it - Headless told her that Yellow 'woke up' incomplete, so Flan's belief is that it's crazy, or at least partially so, and doesn't think having a crazy person inside her head is a good thing.
