Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

No. I just figured Casey Jones in NYC would be hilarious.

I should write that. Elias Koteas' CJ beating up criminals with sports equipment in Worm NYC... and driving the Protectorate up the wall because no one can catch him. Could even borrow from the 87 cartoon and have people think it's perfectly ordinary when he's wearing a business suit and a hockey mask.
Huh. I thought you were referencing Troubles With Me. My bad.

I can't recall any, at least not any full stories and not just little snips. Can someone link me or tell me the title of some?

Atonement is the one I think of first for that, which is one fic I do quite enjoy. I think someone said somewhere that Tales of Transmigration has a redeemed Emma? I haven't read it, so I don't know.

Amelia has something with it. I don't, however, have anything to say about that at all.

I could never get into Atonement or Amelia, and while I suppose ToT kind of redeems her, the fact that her redemption moment, a letter written to Taylor, made most of the readers hate her even more, kind of puts that into question. Thanks anyway.

Transmigration's Emma is... complicated, partially due to the fic's premise. She is taking therapy though.

The best Emma redemption I've seen lately is Nyctophobia, in the SB ideas thread. It cannot be recommended enough.

Honestly, I read Atonement for Madison as Spidergirl.

Like I said over on SB, it's possible Emma may try to start rebuilding things with Taylor. Admitting she fucked up is the first step. You could have her try and follow through, to Taylor's perpetual bemusement.
No. Just no. I loved the treatment with Sophia's breakdown and the fall of Emma. This isn't even a fic where the author hand waved the locker incident away. It's already stretching any reader's SoD to already have Emma apologize like this, when we see 20.03 in reality. Lets not make this another fic where attempted murder is considered redeemable.
Emma said:
"You killed your mom."

I wouldn't necessarily say it was SoD breaking, since we didn't have Emma's view, or even what prompted the utterance of those words. As it is, I'll ruminate on Emma, but I'm still leaning away from a redemption tale and having her reappear. I simply didn't want to just go onward without closing that thread off and my original plans would have filled in the three weekish space we jumped to from the end of Arc 1 to the start of Arc 2.

As that would have been pretty boring and been lots of words telling you how Taylor worked on her costume while hanging out with friends and having some skirmishes with Emma, I decided to move forward a bit.

I'm surprised honestly that, other than time travel remarks, no one's inquired about Canberra, since Colin's bit starts right on the heels of that. Being ground bound, I imagine he was busy handling civilians and the like, but Simurgh battles = stress galore. Which I tried to showcase. How well I succeeded is another matter entirely.

And, as I pad my post count, including the 145 words I have of 2.2, Firebird sits at 47,877 words presently. It should surpass Acceleration in total word count well before the end of Arc 2.

He drank the chronoton laced milk, didn't he? I think that's a sign of stress. Do you have any idea what chronotons do to your liver?!?:D

Nah, he removed everything that was reading as chronoton infused and disposed of it after taking the stasis device and putting it in a dim corner of his lab. Just a plain old refrigerator now.

I do not think the locker was attempted murder honestly. If it was done with the intent to kill, then yeah it is. But it was not done with the intent to kill but to psychologically break someone. Any death would have been ruled as accidental. Since Taylor would have had to be stuck there for a rather long time in order to die.

-edit-

Or had to have open wounds.

Or her being deadly allergic to peanut butter.

Let's refrain from discussion over whether the locker is attempted murder or not. There's a place for that and it isn't here. Instead, enjoy more delicious cookies since you found CJ earlier.

Damnit, well only the good die young so that let's you out Emma.
Taylor really needs to let scum go.

Too much history. This Taylor hasn't reached the point where she honestly could give a damn about Emma.

I.E. made a stupid decision to become an undercover hero, robing a bank, becoming friends with villains, hero's trying to kill her, shoving an Halberd up leviathans ass, becoming a warlord, dealing with the fallen, teeth, slaughter house nine, killing Coil, saving Dinah, then going back to school.

Similar events need to happen before this Taylor can give no fucks about Emma, since this Taylor is not suffering from apathy like acceleration Taylor.

After all, Emma used to be like a sister too her. Even after two years of betrayal, it is hard to forget a bond like that. Unless you are mentally ill like Emma, I guess.

Muahaha, the cookies are all mine!

Sorry, I am kinda tired right now so I decide to discuss about random things.
