Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

It must have been pretty weird for Lisa when 'everything changed when the fire nation, i mean phoenix attacked.'

She goes from sitting in the room with Coil and Taylor getting ready to intuit answers and questions to ask, and then WHOMP shes in her apartment and feels like something is off.

Hold on, my extradimensional inference engine and I have different memories.
...wwaaaaiiiiiit.

The day before Taylor woke up the Undersiders were rudely awoken at 5am by Tattletale's "WHAAAT!!!!!!" before she went on to have slight breakdown and began to giggle which turned into crazy laughter that would have the Joker leave as silently as possible.

Why do people think that Taylor reshaped reality? The in chapter clues (I.E. those that aren't 100% certain to be Chibipoe trolling us) indicate that Taylor was captured and drugged. Her place was blown up. She healed Noelle. Coil's place was blown up. Why are we adding time fuckery?

Because Author said that Lisa no longer has any idea who Coil is? Which implies that either Coil never existed(somehow?), existed in another way(?), or Lisas (and by extension presumably everyones) memories were altered.

I'm starting to wonder...that empire probably wasn't talking about Empire 88...

Is the Phoenix gonna try to conquer the world or something?

"Taylor! Gods, where have you been? Are you alright?"
Is Vicky a polytheist?
"After… gods… that stupid…"
Is Taylor?
"Taylor, gods, your neck… what the hell?"
I don't think Vicky is a polytheist.
God, I've been blathering on and blamed her, but she looks awful. What the hell happened to her?
I guess Taylor isn't either.
Ah, hells, Piggot's not going to like this at all.
How many hells does Dauntless need?

Obviously Vicky's fairy godmother stopped by for a tea party and reintroduced her and the rest of New Wave 2e to neopaganism during the missing week. Amy is really into the whole dancing skyclad thing.

and by 'fairy godmother' I obviously mean GU, who just happens to be Vicky's actual godmother.

Joking aside, that sounds like a cool story idea. An enigmatic independent hero, helping heroes in need in exchange for later favors. Usually being near a certain person when they die... and now you've got me wondering what GU's thinking of the Phoenix Force and Taylor.

This crazy train has no brakes! That's what.

Call it, Taylor couldn't use her telekinesis so she had to find something else to fight with when she was pushed hard enough she went deeper she tapped into her telepathy and coincidentally found a flaming turkey there to help her out when a would be a echidna got loose.

Damn it.

I both like and hate this. Hate it because, fuck, we've still got to wait to figure out what the hell has been happening for the last two chapters if not more when it could have been clear already.

Like because there's probably a reason you're doing it this way and I'm not going to stop you from telling your story the way you want.

Coil mustn't be retconned out of existence. Just disintegrated. No body, no remains no evidence of disappearing would leave the open interpretation that he might have run away.

Plus disintegration by plasma bath is going to be most enjoyable. For the Phoenix.

Vicky could be a polytheist. Nothing says she isn't anyway, Worm didn't really touch on religion at all.

As for Taylor, well if she has memories leaking in from Jean and the Phoenix she knows there's a lot of gods in the setting. Of course Thor, Jesus, Apophis et al are all middle management at best compared to her Vice Presidency of Reality but she does know they exist. She remembers making them get her coffee sometimes. Probably wonders why references to Hercules make her blush and start staring off into space.

As for multiple hells, isn't that actually a thing in some of the myriad strains of Christianity?

In that regards, as depicted in the Divine Comedy there is one "Hell" but multiple layers or functional "Mini-Hells" if you would. Each Circle of Hell is dedicated to a different category or subclass of Sin.

Going from first to last, you have Limbo, which is where you go if you weren't sinful in life, but didn't do the whole "Religion" thing. Or at least, Christian Religion. It's basically budget Heaven, and it's described as basically being "Ok" and you go there if you weren't baptized or you were an unsinful pagan.

Then you get Lust, which is where you go if your sins were related to Lust in some nature. Pretty straightforward.

You got Gluttony next, followed by Greed, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud/Deceit, and finally Treachery. Leading to the saying, "There's a special place in hell for Traitors."

Depending on the primary nature of the sins you committed in life, you get sent to one of those Circles of Hell. Or in the case of the first, the lack of sin.
