Coil killing danny in an alt time line to test and accidentally having to keep it.
Nah, doubt that one will happen.

He would only get that sloppy if cornered and after having developed a dependency on Dinah's precog. Prior to that, he was quite careful (one might might even say paranoid) in leaving a safe timeline in case things went to shit in the "risky" timeline.Coil killing danny in an alt time line to test and accidentally having to keep it.
I'd like to point out that Dark Phoenix only came about due to Mastermind's mind-fuckery turning Jean into a psychopathic sadist and weakening the psychic barriers that restrained the full power of the Phoenix Force.

I somewhat doubt even something as terrible as Danny being killed would be enough to set her off that much (though I'm sure people will burn for it).
On the other hand, if she's subjected to something similar to what the S9 did in Acceleration, and doesn't take it as well as that Taylor, that may be a different case.
I didn't know why my powers were different from everyone else's, but some instinct said that they were and the few things I could do now were just the beginning. I would grow stronger. Stronger than the Triumvirate. Stronger than Scion. This world would love me.
Or it would burn.
Ah, I must have missed that. I was unaware that the Phoenix Force's arrival in the Wormverse occurred just after that.I'd like to counter that with the fact that timeline-wise, the Phoenix is coming right off the heels of that, and so all those pieces and bits and bobs of the Dark Phoenix experience are floating around in Taylor's shared subconsciousness with the Phoenix. Along with bits of Jean and of course, the Phoenix itself.
Spreading misinformation and confusion? Me? Not a chance.
I admit, I had forgotten about that bit. Probably because Taylor hasn't shown any of this line of thinking since. How foolish of me. This is, after all, Worm, where things only go from bad to worse to mass extinction.

Pretty much. After all, one of my Taylor's is one bad day away from blowing up the planet.
I was talking about canon:
She bitch-slapped Leviathan, incinerated Echidna with a big ball of plasma, and in general lolnoped almost everything that came her way.And man, people have much higher calcs for my demonstrated feats of Acceleration!Taylor than I did.

That's what Ziz wants you to say.
Yeah, going to lay down that this topic has been exhausted quite thoroughly. 2.9 will address a great deal of this. So, move to another discussion.
Also, let's note in canon Taylor proved she's willing to just walk away from home, and here I think she's very near her limit.

You forgot that canon Taylor as a mildly successful super villain at the point when she walked out on Danny. Taylor has only been a hero for what... a couple of weeks here?
Plus she had some sort of resources that helped her on her own. Take away her job as a criminal and she had no source of income, no job prospects and no real education. She'd either be couch surfing or on the streets in any other situation.
I don't know, the vigilante laws that let people keep the money that they "confiscate" from gangs always seemed like a bit of fan fic wankery to get Taylor a shit ton of money really quickly, kind of like the HP Pounds to Galleons to Gold to Pounds to Galleons thing. If that was a thing why were the Undersiders considered villains, all they did was rob Lung. Plus it really seems like that would be open to abuse, I mean what constituttes a villain, and that is not even getting into if a "villain" and a "vigilante" worked together.Well, she could always raid the gangs for cash at least. Though that would make her easy to track when she runs away.
I'd assume there'd be some limits on what a person could take. It might even be unofficial. Like if you take down a few dealers and take 200 bucks off them, the cops aren't going to waste resources to get that money back, but if you take 200 grand off a group of dealers that's an issue because that's money that would need to go into evidence.I don't know, the vigilante laws that let people keep the money that they "confiscate" from gangs always seemed like a bit of fan fic wankery to get Taylor a shit ton of money really quickly
Well there's your problem. A lot of what happens in Worm is way illegal to IRL. Attacking criminals in a colorful costume is illegal. Holding people in prison with no appeals is illegal.
That's not entirely accurate.
IRL murder is illegal, in Worm murder is illegal. Why? Because murder is morally/ethically wrong and disruptive to society.
IRL profiting from crime is illegal. Why? It isn't just because the profits gained from crimes are considered illegally obtained/damages of the crimes committed. That would fall under moral/ethical wrongness and disruption of society. It's because crime is morally/ethically wrong and disruptive to society so it cannot be incentivized in any way. You may not keep the money you mugged a man for, you may not keep the insurance money you killed for, you may not keep the money given to you by your drug-dealing financial supporter, and you may not loot criminals because that incentivizes criminality. Not because it always benefits a criminal, but because Crime is not allowed to pay, and you've just turned a profit from somebody committing a crime. On top of that, that money you took is evidence and/or forfeited to the state because it is either illegally obtained or damages of the crimes committed. There is a reason criminal organizations launder their money.
