[X] "Ryza, you mentioned there's a Solar Knight garrison nearby? We'll take them there and explain everything to the Knight-Priestess in charge. They'll want to know about Brother Danvien's treachery, and after we explain what they were up to that should absolve us of any problems. True, they'll probably want to deal with their traitor themselves, so we won't get the full benefits of questioning him, but we should be able to get something, and we might even be able to convince the Divine Realm to move closer towards joining us in this war."

Being a big tough scaly dragon sure is great, imagine having to play like a mage or something. Couldn't be us.

*distant ominous wyrmbane noises*

So out of curiosity will any of the characters mention dragon Ryza tearing a dude in half with her mouth and having a bloody smile? Because that definitely happened and I don't think gap moe is the right term to describe the dichotomy going on here once she goes back to looking and acting like a pre-teen.

Oh yeah, everyone's gonna be a little more nervous around her. However, she wasn't doing anything a wyvern wouldn't have in the same situation, so it's not going to be completely crazy.

Remember, she has also flash-fried people with electricity. When she goes into fight mode (which involves semi-consciously calling upon her dragon to give her heart-mind some needling/ mental protection from what she's doing) Ryza can do a lot of damage.

Fair enough. So the shift comes with automatic teeth cleaning services, if she's not gonna make too big a deal out of her dragon self getting human blood and body parts in their mouth?

"One arrow… that's all it'd take, one lucky arrow, and they've got ten bowmen."
We need to teach dragon!Ryza how effective weapons work. And the tome weapon triangle. And maybe why speed is so—point is, she needs to be taught how Fire Emblem works before she picks a fight with a Dragonkiller Bow or something.

"Ryza, a little help?"

You're confused as to why he needs it, but as the prone soldier keeps trying to swing at Kelton, you shrug. You want him to be safe and you have the energy, so why not? "Alright," you say, gathering a bolt of lighting in your mouth and shooting it into the twitching soldier on the ground, burning out his chest and causing his pained writhing to stop. It's cleaner that way anyways, he probably didn't even feel it.

Kelton jerks back, cursing. "Fu-" he starts, throwing you a slightly panicked look.

'He meant he wanted help healing the man…' Heart-you says tiredly.

…Well he should have said that then! How were you supposed to know the details of the mission were changing!?
I'm not sure whether Kelton deserves a share of the blame. He assumed dragon!Ryza would act like Ryza, but I'm pretty sure she warned him (and the rest) that dragon!Ryza was more impulsive than heart!Ryza. And Ryza in either form has struggled with implied meaning.

Obviously, most of the blame is on dragon!Ryza for being so quick to bolt. But still.

"No, but he might be useful," Artemis says quietly, frowning. "The problem, though, is that he's not technically wrong. We were acting in the defense of Starhelm and Hornglade, but we don't have any legal authority here in the Divine Realm. And by the looks of it, that priest is a citizen of the Divine Realm, so not only could he kind of give them the authority to enter, but taking him will be… problematic."

"He was acting against the interests of the Divine Realm," Axton says.
Difficult to prove, harder to prove it's relevant. Unless maybe you can prove treason.

Not that this is some kind of complaint, mind you, Overwhelming Firepower kind of comes with the premise of "play as a dragon person".
"Manakete! And that's only true for red manakete, anyways."

I don't think most wyverns talk. A rational, sapient creature half-eating her opponents is a bit more unnerving than a half-domesticated predator doing the same.

Is there a point to voting when the option you want to win is crushing so hard?

Thank you for the update! Poor Ryza, embarked into a war when all she wants is revolutionize the magic system.
