  • [X] Enter Glenhaven and gather information. If the Shrieking Talons have been here for a while, then the locals probably know some useful things that could help you out. This will almost certainly bring you into contact with members of the Talons, but that might just be more sources of information.
[X] Try to find Mantrae's people; they're probably nearby. As much as Robin doesn't like it, he agrees that it will be useful to have some backup. Besides, the Countess's agents will have been here longer; they might have a plan of their own that you can help with.
[X] Plan Extract and Fly - The goal isn't to kill the mercenaries, it's to get Sypha out. Besides, a frontal assault would reveal Ryza's existence and it's not like she would be willing to kill all the villagers to keep that hidden. Wait until night time. Ryza half-shifts, and Robin infiltrates the camp to find Sypha. When he does, or he gets caught, he uses a pre-arranged signal to call for Ryza who swoops in, grabs him and Sypha, and flies back to friendly territory.

Alright, pretty clear win for an intel run.

I'm doing an experiment: could I have a few people roll some dice: 2 d6s for what information you get, and 1 d8 for... complications :p

  • [X] Go along with the plan. While you suspect Sypha's in that tent, being able to confirm that will be good. These boys might even be able to help you save Sypha. No idea how, but it's possible.
    - [X] Tell Robin where you're going. He's still talking to the stall owner, so you'll have to figure out how to pass the information along surreptitiously.
-- [X] Tell the boys you need to tell your "father" before running off somewhere. Assure them that you're not going to rat out their plan or anything, you just don't want him to think you were kidnapped or something.
[X] Suggest that the boys don't do anything risky. You know how violent these Talons can get when crossed: you don't want them to get hurt.
-[X] Mention you heard something about a mean mage.

    - [X] Just go. You're a big girl, you can take care of yourself.
[X] Respectfully decline. You already know what you're going to find, and you've already gotten valuable intelligence about where Sypha is. No need to risk yourself.

Alright, scouting mission is go.

If I could get someone to roll me a d4 for... reasons, that would be great. >: )

  • [X] Plan Kansas City Shuffle
    [X] Plan Death From Above
-[X] Primary objectives, in chronological order:
-[X] When the wyvern falls asleep tonight, Ryza will transform (determination), approach the camp with Robin from high altitude and attempt to kill the wyvern by diving on it first. (PREY!) By tooth, claw, arrow and magic, it needs to die or be made incapable of flight fast.
-[X] Next land by Sypha's tent. Rip the tent open, grab Sypha. (MINE!) Blast or flatten the guards if you must, but Sypha is what matters.
-[X] Fly over the horses, blasting some of them as you go or at least blasting the fence.
-[X] Leave by flying over where Mantrae's people are camped. Let Sypha's shouting tip them off to what's going on. Robin can shout something if need be. Fly low, change directions out of view, and get as much distance as you can before having to land somewhere out of sight. Perform the half-transformation ritual while Robin watches Sypha and fly for home at best speed.
    --[X] Secondary objectives:
--[X] If the mage shows himself, avoid fighting him. You can't afford to get bogged down or risk getting hurt.
--[X] Grab Artemis' bow if you see it while performing other objectives. (SHINY!)

Alright, plan is put in place.

I need 3 people to roll some dice to see who/what you run into: 2 d6s and a d4.

  • [X] Tell Robin to use the Elixir on Bernard so he can come along more easily. You don't know how bad the injury is, and it will mean that the elixir won't be available if you or Robin get badly hurt in the escape, but you don't want to leave anyone behind.
[X] Do as Bernard asks and leave him. You don't like it, but your job is to get Sypha out, and already the shouts outside are starting to lose their panicked edges. You have to go now!

-[X] Shift if it's necessary to get everyone out, or to avoid getting bogged down in a risky fight. If you're chased by the wyvern try to get far enough away that the mercenaries can't help and you have time to put your passengers down. If it comes to a fight then don't hold back, and try to keep the fight close enough to Robin that he can help.
