What Element does Kana have, that Rin can't teach her, I wonder? Imaginary, like Sakura? Sword, like Shiro? Rin was an Average One, IIRC, which means she should be capable of teaching anything which covers one of the five (or is it seven?) classical elements.

Wonder what element Ritsuka has?

I think Kana's is confirmed to be Sword.

She doesn't have the dual origin/element or the Reality Marble.

Even if he rolled back his path to it's beginning and tried to give her a "10 steps to making your own style of weird magic" it's one of those Taoist-like things where "the path that can be taught is not the true path" since even Archer's original path to Unlimited Blade Works can't be replicated to give someone else a similar power. It'd probably help if she knew her Origin, or met her future self, her her.

That or Merlin works some Hero Creation EX, but that could just as easily go this way:

It was an heartwarming chapter, but the bits of this chapter that are from Kana's perspective don't really feel like a child's thoughts. I doubt an eight-year-old would use Damnit for example.

Eh, it depends on the environment. My Mother sweared a lot, so I did too, (I just knew not to do it in front of the teacher)

Shirou had One Trick, and that One Trick relied on a thing that can't be inherited. Kana's SOL.

It's still FSN!Rin, actually. Just the other traits.
Really? Huh are you sure? I mean all the other Pseudo-Servants never really altered their hosts bodies aka changing hair color which is why I am not sure that is the case. And we do canonically have a blonde Rin.

I think it would make a lot more sense for her to be Extra!Rin unless there are line that say other wise. They are the same personality wise so there isn't much of a difference but Extra!Rin is FSN!Rin's descendant. Plus she is of the Lancer class which is Extra!Rin's Servant during Moon Cell as oppose to IstaRin being Archer because FSN!Rin had an Archer. Though I may just be reading too much into it...

It's explicitly mentioned in Babylon that Ereshgikal is possessing the same body as Ishtar, IIRC. Time to go track down citations.

It's the same body. They're on a timeshare. Whenever Ishtar is asleep Eresh gets the body. However when Eresh is in charge Rin's body gains the natural hair color and eye color of Mesopotamian deities which like Gilgamesh is golden blonde hair and red eyes.

Nah, it's a memory of an adult Kana remembering a childhood event. You never remember events exactly as they happened, they're always colored by the present.

Unless Kana has an eidetic memory it's fine.

Then why isn't Shirou able to train her?
Shirou only manages to get a grip on his magic after burning more or less 2/3 of his Magic Circuit, and then got proper tutelage from Rin and Archer's Cheat Sheet™. And Sword Element was practically, totally unheard even in The Age of Gods, so Kana was out of luck.
Apparently, the Archers are getting a bit too excited about their current contest.
Dammit, Arjuna!
