I think I'm spotting some of grandpa Kitsurugi in Ritsuka. I can just see him having the same blank and dead eyes when he's in "I'd rather be dead mode" and "I'd actually rather be dead mode."
That works.
Y'know, Herk and Medea might get along. They are old roommates and the reason she had to move out is that his neighbors were assholes, not that they had a falling out. They're old friends.Ritsuka's punishment to Medea is going to be "you are getting a broom closet to rebuild your temple in and no spatial shenanigans to make it bigger, also fuck you talk it out with saber seriously you are both adults STOP FIGHTING LIKE CHILDREN'
Well, either that or he lets Herk have his way. He's going to have fun making her call him Uncle.
Herk walking in on this is the equivalent of walking in on your niece doing something spectacularly stupid that nearly fucked over life for everyone.Y'know, Herk and Medea might get along. Fair enough. Honestly, I've not seen much interaction of any sort between Medea and Herk.Herk walking in on this is the equivalent of walking in on your niece doing something spectacularly stupid that nearly fucked over life for everyone.
He might be exceptionally aggressive about making her call him uncle, too.
And now the Temple will be no larger then a shoebox."...I'm sorry I used that illusion of you in drag to distract Shielder," Caster whispers.
"It's okay, Cas--wait you what."
A feat that, if successful, should qualify him for a spot on the Throne of Heroes by itself. A good spot. With a nice view and comfortable furniture, or whatever the equivalent is in special Akashic databases of heroes.going to have to explain the concept of morality to Attila the fucking Hun. Who, in case he somehow forgot, is a magical girl from space.
Wow. Just imagine if he was able to talk. The guilt would be a Noble Phantasm all on it's own.Herakles grunts. He turns his gaze on Medea, yellow eyes firm and disappointed. Medea, unbelievably, wilts under his gaze. And wilts some more. And more, and more, the longer he keeps his gaze on her. It looks like the disappointment of the God of Strength is akin to a wasting curse, or a high power spotlight frying a dandelion.
...Shit, he's starting to feel pity for Medea.
"I'm sorry please don't look like that at me, Herakles," the witch wimpers quietly.
Ooooohhh... yeah... that's gonna be awkward as fuck."...I'm sorry I used that illusion of you in drag to distract Shielder," Caster whispers.
"It's okay, Cas--wait you what."
me reason to rescindRitsuka makes an aggrieved expression. "Please don't give me rescind that trust."
Saber Alter: "I suppose your talents have finally become useful, Ritsuka."Ritsuka is never going to live that down, is he?
Especially when it's going to end up plot-relevant come Shinjuku?
Saber Alter: "I suppose your talents have finally become useful, Ritsuka."
Jeanne Alter: "If this weren't such a disgustingly good look for you I would laugh."
Kana: "Maaaaan I'm jealous of you, Rits!"
Ritsuka: "this is my life"
Heh, and thank you for reading! It looks like I have a goal in mind now. This is wonderful.
Everything about this story is wonderful.
The very beginning set a tone of sincerity and snark that stays strong and relentless, what little we've seen of the characters suggests oceans of depth waiting to be explored, I can already taste the meaningful divergences being hinted at with respectful subtly, leaving me desperate learn to about everything that happened before Chapter One, and the fight scene in the third part of this chapter was Boss.
I literally found Fate/Sunny Order less than twelve hours ago, and the only Fate story that beats it out on my favorites list is Chaos Theory, and I have been with that story for Years.
Thank you for making this story Swordomatic. It's just plain wonderful.
The following (random-as-all-hell) thought occurs to me:Ritsuka looks down at Medea, now more like the downtrodden and abandoned Princess instead of the old and bitter Witch.
Yes, but it may be too broad to be much use. Command Seals are best when used for very specific things, such as 'Kill X Right Now'.
Question about Command Seals: can you issue an order to multiple servants at once? Also, is "stop being a fuckwad" a valid order?
I've been debating the topic of whether or not Command Seals should have a 'wide' setting, as it were. Currently leaning towards 'no', because regenerating Command Seals are incredibly powerful as is.
Also it opens up plots where a group of concerted servants, intent on getting what they want, work together and force their Masters to spend all their command seals on frivolous bullshit so now they're forced to actually stop the shenanigans. And subsequently get wrecked because Ritsuka gets stronger the less he has at his disposal. And he already has no shame, no respect, and no fucks left to give*.
*Much to Mashu's confused disappointment, since she's still grappling with the idea of being with him together eventually maybe
There will be a joke about the Battlesuit. Ritsuka will be like 'wow these spells *suck* did you design them for normies' to which the answer will be 'uh yes'. Kana will somehow shoot Literal Swords. Ultimately, Mystic Codes are just pre-loaded packets of spell data for Magi to utilise at a moment's notice, only needing mana to cast at a moment's notice - though casting time can still vary, and be fairly lengthy. Ultimately they're designed to support and buff Servants in combat, or distract/harm enemy Servants, much like in the game. Gandr might do a lot more than just stun though.Say, how's the Mystic Code stuff gonna work once London rolls around for your characters?
