Jeanne forgives you, and so does He.

Kana looks back quickly to a concerned Jeanne raising her finger.
Poor Jeanne, let her speak she's too cute and innocent whenever she says something to not let her do it.He glances over briefly at Jeanne, the Saint again frowning and raising a finger.
He probably saw Pacific Rim: Uprising recently... That movie has WAY too many shout-outs to fucking everything from Star Wars to the original Pacific Rim.Is it just me, or did this chapter have an greater-than-average number of shout-outs?
See what you did? This is now a Tag!
I don't think she can. I mean, this is Jeanne D'Arc we're talking about here.I sense that this line will be repeated often. until Jeanne runs out of forgiveness.

Jeanne isn't Jewish, YHWH is not the name used for God by non-Jewish people, and apparently in canon Jeanne's at least mildly annoyed by the name of Rods From God.Jeanne has no reason to care about Ritsuka and Kana's language. They're not saying YHVH. That's why YHWH doesn't have vowels, so you don't even have the option of saying the name. They're not saying 'the name of the Lord thy God in vain.'
I can totally see her say that. Yeah.

Pretty sure it is for the Christian too. But also pretty sure it is not relevant as an objection either. I've seen instance of similiar objection by Christian characters in other fictions.Jeanne isn't Jewish, YHWH is not the name used for God by non-Jewish people, and apparently in canon Jeanne's at least mildly annoyed by the name of Rods From God.
Ah dagnabit, that reminds me that i still need to watch PR2 (was sick all last week so couldn't go)

If we want to be nitpicky with jokes and linguistics, i'll point that it it's unlikely they are speaking things like 'goddamn' in the first place. I don't think Japanese have expressions like that
But then the joke won't work and swordo have to run around trying to find alternative English expressions and the chapter will got delayed further and we lost one chance for inane quibble
Honnoji already happened. this is all just a flashback. So, I honestly can't recall if this has been mentioned but are the events gonna be a thing in this story? I'm talking about Halloween, Nerofest, etc.
Cause I'm sure Saber Wars is probably gonna raise quite a few questions. I mean, for all we know some Servants may or may not have already seen Star Wars, and I can see someone in Chaldea proposing some sort of movie night to educate the new Servants about theprequel memesa decent part of 80's movie (and cultural?) history.

Welcome to swordotown.
Marie peeksJeanne fully turns around, and Marie peaks out of the chapel. "Really?" They both ask.
Well, yes, but it was only mentioned to be a code word for running into a saberface.Actually didn't they namedrop Mysterious Heroine X when talking about Okita, Nero, and Saber having the same face? Sounds like Saber Wars might have already happened...
Mashu and Roman are fluent in Japanese, Mashu because she's a Demi-Servant now and benefits from Grail hax, Roman because he's a legitimate gigantic weeaboo. She may have used senpai from the start though.Chaldea is a global organization and Rin went to school in London. The Tohsaka twins probably speak English, or at least speak English on the job for Roman's sake. Honestly if the dialogue wasn't so obviously rife with Japanisms like Senpai (though this could be Mash being weird because Roman is a GIGANTIC WEEB and didn't teach her properly), I'd assume everyone was speaking English the whole time simply by context.
And that Saber wouldn't want them butchering her native (sort of) tongue. The Twins are fluent in english, and very fluent in it because Rin refuses to have them be laughed at for proper pronunciation. They don't stumble over Ls and Rs, for instance. Probably helps that Saber is omnilingual because of Grail hax. Also helps that Shirou is a lawyer, which practically necessitates fluency in english. Aaaaand that Taiga is around to be nitpicky about pronunciation.
isn't English THE most butcher language in the worldAnd that Saber wouldn't want them butchering her native (sort of) tongue.

I am glad on't.
That's not actually the point of the Second Commandment. The point of the Second Commandment is to treat God with respect in your speech. To use God's name (or a euphemism used to refer to Him) as a careless curse word is disrespectful.Jeanne has no reason to care about Ritsuka and Kana's language. They're not saying YHVH. I thought she spoke Brythonic? And since Artoria was a Romanized Briton ruling over the former Provincia Britannia, she possibly spoke and wrote Latin, or at least a Latin dialect.
