Fallen Fantasy Worldbuilding Thread (No SV, Help Cyber Go Insane in Fantasy Land Together)

...Speaking of dragonriders.

There is that one group of vikings from how to train your dragon, whom during/after the series became essentially a society of dragon riders. Vkings and dragons, they may be small, but I get the feeling that they may hit harder than the average city-state.

Edit:...Though, how feasible might throwing one of the spyroverse factions in this?

Or maybe the Carpathian Mountains?
You are correct, I didn't put anything in Russia.

So...it fits.

Also they have mages and shit.

You can put them in just know Actual Magic is this guys bread and butter.

Yeah. While don't know that much about both sides...

Well, what little know is both HTTYD viking clan would be more nimble than big/strong considering the average side of HTTYDverse dragons are kinda small.

And that Inheratinceverse has something special about the bond between dragon and rider...

Though, wonder how the Spyroverse dragon civilization might interact with the other dragon groups.

Inheritanceverse has rider and dragon bond so deeply that the rider can use magic thanks to the bond.

HTTYD with the culture shift started by looked down upon chief's son whom managed to completely upend society by becoming the first dragonrider.

GOT that is, well. Crazy family with dragon-rider blood riding, or commanding dragons.

....And I found out there are books of HTTYD, and they are quite, different....

Let me try my hand and a Char Sheet... Also this is like the second time I've tried to stat out a character please let me know if I should make any changes.

Palawa Ignatius Joko

Age: Immortal; 577 confirmed years, longer by his own claims.

Titles: 'The Scourge of Vaabi,' 'Last of the Primeval Kings,' 'General Joko the Undying.'

Diplomacy: D20 => 13 +4 +5 =22 (You've persuaded high ranking individuals who had no reason to trust you to consider you a non threat long enough for you to rebuild your armies and conquer the continent.)

Martial: D20 => 10 +5 +5 =26 (Your expertise on the battlefield is unquestionable, though not without flaws exploitable by true geniuses.

Stewardship: D20 => 20 +4 +2 +5 =31 (Logistics is the lifeblood of your war machine and the reason you don't have your undead running around killing every living thing they see.)

Intrigue: D20 => 9 +4 +5 =18 (Your skills at espionage in time, caused your victims to forget the heroes whose actions you had taken credit for.)

Learning: D20 => 4 +4 +5 =13 (While you are undead, you are capable of learning from your mistakes and your enemies tactics... Eventually.)

Piety: D20 => 20 +5 +5 +6=36 (Your Skills in matters arcane are undeniable, indeed you've witnessed the fall of gods and the rise of their replacements.)

Personal Combat: D20 => 6 +5 +5 +6 *+18 =42/22 (In spite of all your wisdom, all your years of skills and knowledge of spells applicable to combat, the majority of your losses came about from fighting in person.)

Traits:

Self Proclaimed Primeval King: While you can say you were alive during some of the earliest years of humankind, existing proof of your claims are few and far between. But the knowledge and skills of a countless years do remain, so wouldn't that be proof enough? (+4 Diplomacy, Stewardship, Intrigue, Learning +6 Martial and Piety)

Legendary Necromancer: Few can claim to have mastered Dark Magic to the same extent as Him. Whenever you have the opportunity to properly exploit your spellcraft, you do so with fine avail: (+5 Piety and Personal Combat. Situational add half piety to personal combat)

Scourge of Vaabi: You've become well known for your tactical expertise and skill at logistics: (+5 Martial +2 Stewardship)

Miserable Wastes of Flesh: Your minions have an unfortunate tendency to be two of three things; Loyal, Competent, or Powerful. Current circumstances have left you with only those minions of whom loyalty is one of those two facets: (Significant Malus to Starting Forces)

Arrogance of Evil: Your confidence in the certainty of your eventual victory is easily your greatest weakness: (In combat must succeed a Situational DC check or reroll and take the worse result.)

Regenerative Immortality: Your body will eventually recover from any wound and the magics capable of breaking this enchantment are few and far between. You've long taken advantage of this capability to become an even greater menace to your enemies. (+5 All stats, when defeated roll dice to determine how many turns must be spent in recovery.)

Haunted: The Ghostly Hero, Warmarshal Turai Ossa, one of the few mortals to ever best you both on the battlefield and in person, has returned from beyond the grave to plague your dreams of world domination once again. Fate claims that you are fated to lose to this hero and his forces, but true masterminds defy destiny and search for a way to win regardless. (Starts with a heroic faction on the same continent.)

So…update. No Rwby factions or characters because RT is blatantly abusing its workers.

So they can go screw themselves.

So who do we replace atlas with?

...So, I guess we might want something more magitech...
And overall something that is a bit on the colder side.

Though I don't have any that immediately stick out yet

And for some reason, separate from that I am imagining the XCOM 2 XCOM somehow being in the crossover, as one VERY LOST ship and crew... Though XCOM may be a bit much to be added period.

To put into perspective.

Euron has 20 piety.

Before factoring in all the traits he has about the cults and mystical crap.
If he could beat Zelda in a magic duel, then it might be really worrying.
But...
Well, besides the fact it sounds like he is gonna hit a lot harder than his verse would imply, I suspect that other than the fact there may not be a heroic counterpart brought in, it may still be impressive but maybe not among the top hitters.

King Euron Greyjoy

Age:43

Titles: The Crows Eye, Stormlord of Gagossa, The Corsair King. The First Storm and the Last.

Diplomacy: D20 => 6+3+5=14 (Euron is a violent-tempered, angry man, though he can spin a tale and back it up with facts, and can gather armies easily.)

Martial: D20 => 19+3+5+2=29( Euron is a Master Reaver and Veteran Military Commander, and has been commanding nearly all of his life)

Stewardship: D20 => 7+3+5+3+2=20 (He is not a good ruler, in the traditional sense, but he can run a ship, and a fleet should then need to arise.)

Intrigue: D20 => 18+3+5=26 (Euron Crow's Eye is not a fool, he knows all and if he does not, he will PREY it out of you.)

Learning: D20 => 13+3+5+3=24 (He learned from the Maesters under an assumed named and forged his chains, learned the higher mysteries from wise men across Essos, and more in this new world, he is impressive.)

Piety:20+3+5+2+3+6+2=41 (In a world deprived of Magic and Power, he stands as one of the few to master it, in this changing world, he is a potent force of nature. His Dark Gods will see to it.)

Personal Combat: D20 => 20+3+5+12+6=46 (With his decades of Combat experience, and His Valyrian Steel Sword and Armor, few can match his raw combat potential, save those with more experience, or potent weapons.)

Traits:

The Corsier King: Euron Greyjoy is king of the Sea, Master of Tides and Ruler of the Iron Fleet of the Ironborn. Before him, many Pirates pay homage to his power, might, and wealth. (Gain +3 to all stats, when commanding fleets, intimidating or diplomancing gain +10 to all rolls as he uses his reputation and authority.)

The Crow's Eye: Euron Greyjoy, Monster, Mystic and Marauder… The Crow's Eye is powerful, dangerous and most of all intelligent. A true master of the seas and the mysteries hereafter. (+5 to all stats. When against those with a strong magical presence gain +5 to all rolls following a Piety check of 80, if the roll is a failure -5 .)

Mystic of Dagon: This Character is a Mystic of Dagon, the Deep One of the Hyborian age and a powerful elder god. (+2 to Martial and Piety, when in the seas gain +5 all rolls, when doing actions supported by Dagon's ambition gain +15 to all rolls)

Dark Mystic: The Dark is generous, and it is patient and it always wins. It wins because it is everywhere. You have merely embraced the void and all of its wonders. (+3 piety, +15 to all piety rolls when using dark magic.)

Sorcerer (Trained): This Character is a trained sorcerer, though while not trained in the truly advanced arts of magic, compared to a normal man, he is a fascinating example of trained power. (+3 piety, Learning, and Stewardship. +10 to all magic rolls)

Equipment:

Valyrian Steel Armor (Full set): A Valyrian Steel suit of armor, a near unbreakable spell forged armor made in the Old Valyria before the Doom, it can protect the wearer from nearly all physical damage, if worn properly. It can even channel Magic. (+12 Personal Combat, +6 piety, enemy rolls gain a -25 when attacking him while wearing it.)

Silence (Formally the Sword Truth): A Valyrian Steel Sword that formerly belonged to the House of Rogare, it was taken by the Corsair King in 294 AC, Euron took the blade as his own, and reforged it into a mighty blade. (+6 Personal Combat, gain +5 to all combat rolls against a normal opponent)

The Silence: Euron's personal warship, crewed by mutes and monsters. (Gain +1 National action, +2 piety, and Stewardship. +5 to all rolls when Euron onboards it)

AN: EURON KING!

ALso look at those stats he's a baller son of a bitch.

Good luck with that, I'm the only one who knows where he spawns in.

And also he's got magic hacks for days.
Well, lets be honest, magic hax is probably floating everywhere.
Including hyrule that may have a thing where jealous neighbors try, and inevitably get killed trying to access some of their magic hax. :D
In fact, we might also have that one 'mage school' that is more of a threat to themselves than the enemy around, with probably the most trivial revival method in existence.
