Fallen Fantasy Worldbuilding Thread (No SV, Help Cyber Go Insane in Fantasy Land Together)

Nice idea, its in, but where do we put it? Italy?
Hinestly not sure myself. But there are certainly some interesting characters, what with the eternal pessimist Dreg, that insists on doing the job right, and possibly toing the line of what is exactly human, before involving timeline shenanigans. And the newbie crew led by Amber heart, whom at least attempts to be a font of positivity in the force. And well, it's gonna be interesting seeing how certain groups would react to the Dimensional techniques that turn fighting into combative debates. Which incidentally, Debates being the police force's forte with the fact their officers are obligated to never turn down a debate, should someone challenge them to what they call a 'Medieval debate'. And then there are people like Eva, a spy with teleportation and the ability to hide as a statue, unknown how exactly they work, and then there is one person with an unusual dimensional technique called Lucifer's Wings, that apparently, by the wiki page, is "a powerful fighting technique which allows the user to hypnotize (as per the words of the Crow Clan members) their own body into thinking that it has no injuries. This allows for maximum power blows en masse."
...Honestly, I wonder what would happen if Dreg and Galbatorix would meet and clash?
Raw Combat wise, Dreg would b outmatched, but in a clash of wills and dimensional debate...
No clue.

On it, chief. Should be up by today evening.
Okay.

I'm just gonna give my Conan OC, he's a Apprentice Wizard and killed a Vampire in a Magic quick Draw duel.

The Undercity of Zaun
his is the Scale of Power It will tell you exactly how powerful they are in basic Geopolitical Terms that are in basic and are 20th/21st century terms.

Outpost-> Colony->Middling Power->Secondary Power-> Great Power->Superpower->Hyperpower

The Undercity of Zaun

Ideology:

Power Scale: Middling Power

Leader: Silco

Population: 17.4 Million People

Positive Traits:

The Undercities Grand Design: Inherited from Vander, Silco and many within his power structure have grand and frankly near unattainable goals that come from Zaun's independence, a community, of people, with respect and that rough edges that keep them sharp…and honest. (Special actions to turn Zaun from a slum into a real nation without peers)

Silco Shimmer Supremacy: Shimmer, some say it's a problem, but with small doses, it can unlock a great deal of human potential…you just need to manage the intake. (Shimmer tech available for use, Special units available from the start)

"Zaun Always Knows How to Cut a Deal and Keep it.": There is one thing, even in the pit of the undercity's depravity…Zaunites, honor a deal…no matter the cost, no matter the pain it causes. (+20 to all deals and rolls with nations that know you an established and trustworthy power, as you've proven you can keep the deal)

Negative Traits:

Shimmer Supremacy…and Side Effects: Shimmer is…dangerous, unstable, and terrifying its a drug that causes pain and suffering once it takes hold. And given that Silco relies on it for control, any issues with the production or distribution of the drug will have consequences…for all involved. (If the Shimmer Supply gets low, roll for Shimmer and Drug Riots that will damage your infrastructure.)

Vassal State: You are a Vassel of the "Great" City of Piltover… you're actually their slums. And you have to go through them to get anything…unless things change.

Zaunite Decay: Zaun is dying a slow death, from the fumes, the crime, the hate, and the desire for war and violence…

It will destroy them…if something isn't done.

(Decay and Pain and the Disire for war…will drive a people to madness and grief)

AN: ZAUN!! From Arcane...

Silco is clearly fucked if all falls down!

At least he has Jinx.

Name: Link
Age: 20(120)

Title: Hero Of The Wild

Diplomacy:

Martial: 35 (He and his line may be more well known as one man armies and such, but that doesn't mean they don't have a good understanding of the flow of battle.)

Stewardship: 23 (When you are strong enough to often break your equipment, you learn how to manage resources to avoid finding yourself unarmed in a fight.)

Intrigue: 30( While the line of hero's aren't particularly noted for stealth skills. Link was able to sneak through the Yiga Clan hideout, and also was zelda's guard. So he is pretty good at such games.)

Learning:20 +5 =25(While link isn't an academic, he is still quite capable, in part due to needing to solve puzzles that can include stuff like physics.)

Piety: 30 (He may not be a user of magic, but he does cary a certain weight from being the wielder of the master sword.)

Personal Combat:40 (Link pushes the boundaries of what is even possible, even being able to deflect stuff like lasers. And yet, it isn't his full potential.)

Traits:

[Locked]The Champion's blessings: Blessed with the power of the four champions. Friends whom perished in the great Calamity. The Blessings imparted their signature abilities to link, such as Daruk's Protection, which creates a sort of bubble shield for the user. Mipha's Grace, which heals link, stemming from her natural healing powers.Urbosa's Fury, which creates an explosion of lightning, reflecting her affinity of lightning. Revali's Gale, which creates a strong upwind gust, great for vertical mobility alongside Link's paraglider.

Ravaged Hero's Body: His Run-in with Ganon has left his body greatly weakened. He is still very capable, but he tires more easily and finds himself less able to take hits than before. Such affliction will not be easy to reverse, as the particular Gloom that afflicts the body is even more potent than that is usually found in the Depths.

Hand of the First King: After the encounter with Ganon, his right hand was beyond saving, leading to it being replaced with the one that was part of the seal holding Ganon.(???)

Extreme Omnivore: He is able to eat Goron cuisine, which being rocks...

Shiekah Slate Master: In his earlier Journey, he had mastered the use of the Runes in the Shiekah Slate. Going so far as incorperating them into his battle style. Yet, there is currently no known active shiekah slate to use those skills with. Maybe the new runes in the Purah Pad can aid him much like the Shiekah slate did?

Extreme Strength: Link is strong enough that his gear often breaking under the strain put on it. ( +5 Personal Combat, +10 to equipment bonuses, but unless particularly durable, will break much faster than normal.)

A Champion's Doubt: Even the prodigious determination characteristic of the line of heroes has it's limits. Between the disaster that had him lose his memories, and the most recent curbstomp when confronted with Ganondorf, his confidence in himself is at it's lowest point.

Puzzle Master: The line of heroes are natural puzzle solvers, something that is continued, with Link having solved all of the Shiekah shrines in preparing to face Calamity Ganon.( +15 to solving puzzles, +5 learning.)

A/N: Well, here is BOTW/TOTK Link, a sheet reflecting the early TOTK state. Although definitely not fully complete.

The Hyrule Restoration Project
Since the Upheaval has rocked the kingdom, the path of recovery has become uncertain. Sky islands, Mysterious ruins from the sky, Hyrule Castle floating in the sky, the disappearance of Zelda and her knight, and even more monsters. Meanwhile, the Geurudo are in a strange storm, the Rito too busy trying to feed themselves, the Zora dealing with raining sludge, and the Gorons have a new delicacy with strange effects. While some may say the situation is bleak, we are not helpless! Even with the Upheaval leading to the degradation of our weapons, we have discovered ways to mitigate the effects, such as replacing the blade tip with monster parts, and bows are unaffected.

There are whispers of the yiga clan being more active, even though whatever actions they are doing aren't very visible for some reason. While not confirmable, some suggest the reason might be linked to him falling down the pit behind their old hideout while fighting link. And yet, there sems to be mysteries and possibly potential. There have been rumors of a warrior in green, fighting with crossbows and Cuccos. Alongside with some sightings of people with knight and/or royal guard armor being a mystery to be investigated, in light of the fact that new armor of that type hasn't been made since the Calamity. And then there lies what is beyond our borders. While scouting is limited, they don't match what records we had left.

But we are the people of Hyrule! We survived the Calamity, and we will survive this! We have the Zonai research teams uncovering the secrets of the Zonai, we have Pura and Robby, we have the brave people who call this place home. We will not fall!!!!

Hyrule Resurgant
After facing the Calamity, we hadn't expected the world to be upended again, but it has. Even now we are still adapting to what seems to possibly be the breaking of time. With the sealing of calamity Ganon, we thought it was over, but we were wrong. Calamity Ganon was but the begining, a mix of Shiekah technology and Malice from some other source. The origins are unknown, our weapons have been greatly degraded requiring some inventiveness to maintain combat effectiveness. We have met the Hyrule Restoration Project started by the currently missing zelda of the other timeline and her knight. We are probably going to need to think of some way to avoid the confusion, especially with the manhunt to find those two, since their last known location was below the castle during the upheaval. Monsters are coming out in force, meaning our warriors will be needed to protect ourselves and our allies. And yet, the places best off is Lookout Tower, Hateno Village, and Kakariko Village. Scouts have reported that the Zora lands are plagued by sludge polluting their waters and spreading everywhere. While thanks in part to collaboration with the restoration project we are aware of problems plaguing the other three settlements of our main allies, likely connected to the power behind Calamity Ganon.

While our allies in the yiga clan came along, there are complications brought by the fact there is now two yiga clans, which is going to be a problem for PR. But, there might be potential, as the death of the local master was never confirmed, only assumed after he fell in the abyss when Link fought to return the Thunder Helm. For thanks to our allies, we are more aware of the nature of the organization, even if not the changes since our time, and their loyalty not truly belonging to the Calamity. While unconfirmed, the archaeologists seem to have found some information that may be critical in this war, something which may help us identify the true nature of our enemy, and meaningfully fight back against them.

The Chasm in Kakariko village may be a possible boon. It's secrets hidden by the powerful Gloom that is likely be connected to the Calamity. Though the Gloom and the deepness of the hole prevents of easy access, it is possible to use hot air balloons to enter, and brightblooms provide vital light, even with the Gloom greatly curtaining truly in-deph investigation.

A/N: A little something, not proper faction sheets, but basically taking TOTK to inspire other hyrule takes besides the one from before the game launched. One being largely canon with some oddities, set before Link reappeared. Which is before the inevitable escalation. The other is a bit more COMPLICAED. Exploiting AOTC being it's own timeline caused by divergence from the time traveling involved from that game, to do a confusing mashup. Which would have Ganon respond accordingly summoning more monsters and very possibly being more active with his trickery, due to there being a real army for hyrule to call upon.

So… tomorrow I'm gonna give you a gift.

A gift in Honor of D-Day…

Anyone who guesses it will get a cookie and a char sheet for anyone you suggest. I have spoken.

Well, the biggest name in said event is Patton. A colorful character in his own right. Though it could also be someone like the Phantom army that plays around with inflatable vehicles. Or more obscure, that madlad and alleged spymaster, Juan Pujol García, whom helped sell the lie with his somehow earned reputation.

How long until you think Cao Cao and Long Fang try to kill each other?
I say very quickly. They both would probably be seen as kindred spirits given the archtype, but...

One tried his best, and tried to fight off the corruption best he could, till the betrayal.

The Other, was the lowest of the low, focused on holding his own power from the beginning, thriving in the corruption. And eagerly sol out the capital to try and retake the power he lost.

Cao Cao would probably loath Long Fang's exitance, both the lack of any real loyalty to the earth kingdom, and the stupidity he done in the name of preserving absolute power, prioritizing the illusion he used to maintain power short-term over preventing conquest by the invaders at the gates, followed by selling out in a desperate bid to regain power in spite of the forces he offered having no real loyalty to him, allowing him to lose his forces to the Azula because of the very corruption he thrived in.

I think Azula would scare him on a cultural level…

The lack of proper family values in Ozai's home would infuriate most Confucian and even normal people.
Culture shock is par the course with this huge morass.
But yeah, many would be suprised at the sheer callousness of Ozai to his own family.
Even the mediaeval style families would prob be suprised even with some of their dynastic struggles.
