[Exalted, ?] Most High

Actually, upon further consideration, I'm gonna have to change my vote to
[X] Lord Strategos
[X] Rose Blossoms
[X] The Sword of Endings

The opportunity to curb unnecessary Solar excesses (in favor of more worthwhile excesses, like excess power and excess optimization) would be amazing. I don't really care about the Sword of Creation thing. Then if the Lord Strategos could just get the other Solars to do their fucking jobs, all of Creation would become the shining jewel Protector of the West would create in the west! Plus, more free time for Siddie/Lea adventures whenever he's not trying to wrangle Desus.

Ody would be the worst boss, seriously.

[X] Lord Strategos
[X] Rose Blossoms
[X] The Sword of Endings

No one can wrangle Desus, because his Charms make everyone believe that everything he does is for the best. That said, I have been convinced to change my vote as well.

[X] Protector of the West
[X] The Conquering King
[X] The Rose Blossoms

I want Conquering King for it's synergy with Protector of the West, having a stronghold in the west would be very nice.
Would being Protector of the West give us access to the directional Titan? I know it's not the Sword of Creation, but it's still a pretty nice artifact N/A superweapon.

There is no particular rule saying we cannot take both Lord Strategos and Protector of the West, for the record, should you desire to simultaneously possess a network of cults, artifacts, an awesome ship, legendary military prowess, and access to the Sword. To take that a step further, there is also no particular rule that says we can't take a full four options, either.

Well, remember that you cannot take more than two options per epoch, so you can't get both Conquering King and both Social Link options.

Really glad that The Rose Blossoms is making a comeback here. In terms of how much a given option helps Ulyssian later, it's probably hands down the strongest option there because it guarantees that he's going to have someone very powerful on his side.

Vote Update, The Wars of Glory
Okay, there is currently such a variety of combinations that it's difficult to isolate factions for judging, and, as most people picked their options in manner that is context-sensitive to their other options, I can't simply take the most popular ones. Therefore, after reviewing the arguments and general disposition of the thread, I have come up with two combination choices. Three options is the overwhelming standard, so both choices will contain three options. Both options maximize internal synergy given the number of options available and the limit of two options per epoch.

[ ] The Wanderer - Lord Strategos, The Rose Blossoms, Sword of Endings

This option focuses on companionship and conflict on the personal scale: an adventuring party that focuses on Odyssial's spectacular prowess at killing things, setting out to solve the problems that this prowess makes them uniquely suited for. The Lord Strategos Title gives massive personal power due to its Heartless Might synergy, and because it involves less actual work than the Protector of the West, Odyssial has much more time to adventure and develop his relationships with Lea and Pearl. Of course, by adventure, we refer to the countless Titanic-scale (or nearly-so) threats still remaining in the wake of the Primordial's Surrender; though this episode focuses on specific persons, the threats they encounter well could imperil all Creation.

[ ] The Imperator - Protector of the West, Conquering King, Sword of Endings

This option focuses on conflict of a national scale: the struggle to create a perfect utopia in this imperfect world. By harnessing the force of his superlative determination, Odyssial sets about to bend the course of the world to his will, at the cost of somewhat neglecting (relatively speaking...) his personal concentration of power. Burdened as he is with the duties of rulership, and far from the courts of the Blessed Isle, he and Lea do not have much time for intimate connection. However, he does often consult Pearlescence, his Sidereal Adviser, and her nation-spanning Astrologies are well-suited to fruitful management.

Pearl gets to be in both options because she got a lot more votes than Lea. Poor Lea...

[X] The Wanderer - Lord Strategos, The Rose Blossoms, Sword of Endings

Yeah, Lea is simply too good a pick here to pass up, and the benefits of Conquering King are diluted to an extreme by the usurpation, so I see having Lea as someone we can definitely count as far more worthwhile.

[X] The Wanderer - Lord Strategos, The Rose Blossoms, Sword of Endings

So we get:
The most political power.
The Sword of Creation.
The Sword of Endings.
A loving wife.
Maximised personal power.
Our own personal Sidereal because we kill so much stuff.
Phat loot/Artifacts.
More options in later epochs (From LS and SoE).

Well, do note that while The Wanderer does ensure a level of affection for you in the Second Age, it doesn't impact her sanity. It will be a considerably greater investment than this for Lea to be someone you can truly count on, and that may be further diluted if Odyssial does not perfectly reincarnate as planned.

Nation building is simply more appealing to me at the moment that just murderhoboing.
