[Exalted, ?] Most High

Will, we'll just have to kill two birds with one stone. And by killing I mean stabbing them in the neck. Hell lets kill all our minders before our ship even gets to land. Why wait. Let the blood flow.
At least wait until we can make it look like the enemies of the satrapy did the deed. It would look rather odd if we showed up, and all those DBs were dead. Someone's been killing the DBs there already, so it won't be hard to shift the blame once we are there.

[X] The Scarlet Flag Prophecy

Because if we had wanted to do crazy train, we should have fucking initiated the Realm Civil War, but since we didn't, I'd rather not fuck around with realm's politics while we still need to stay alive fighting a war against three enemies.

That's stupid and extremely shortsighted. At least wait until we have the plausible deniability of multiple armies to pin their deaths on.

Once we kill everyone, we loot everything we need and store it in our anima/armor pockets. We burn the ship and sail away on a rowboat. Once we get to our destination, we claim that our ship was attack by pirates and we're the only one that got away. This way, our enemies has no way of solidifying their position and turn the locals against us... which is the biggest problem. We have a fresh start and can run our operation with one less faction to look out for.

Who will dare question the word of the new Imperial Governor?

the plants and potential backstabbers are still getting sent into the middle of three way war, with Ulyssian's success as their best bet of making it back alive, making them a rather easy conversion target.

beside, if we were going to kill them, have it be on our term, there are plenty of opportunity to trade pawn on this game of chess in Luseng.

We're riding this train right over the cliffs of sanity!

They're not our pawns, they're Ayn's pawns. They're not going to go where we sent them, they're going to deliberately fuck up assignments, they'll be trying to undermine us at every turn. Best to kill them now and have one less enemy to deal with. If we let them get in contact with the locals, we will be dealing with everyone they can get on their side. They can spread rumors and sway loyalties that rightfully belong to us.

Undermine us? Possibly.

But they're not going to deliberately fuck us over when there's Deathlords, Fae and Anathema trying to break all our collective faces.

How noticeable is the constant attention needed by Grand Heretical. Can people trace it to us, and can our orders be intercepted?

You're honestly thinking that the Lord Strategos can't plan around expected betrayal?

There are ways to make people do exactly what you wanted them to do despite their every effort to undermine you.

The situation is utterly shit, and these guys are at least nominally supposed to help us. We can't afford to turn down a circle of shikari and a possible Sidereal when we're up against the kind of odds we are.

[X] The Grand Heretical Prophecy

I support the heretical prophecy because it is a fairly long term bonus. It starts out small but will get bigger over time in a way that will not just benefit us but any other Celestial exalt who is willing to behave in a virtuous manner, while undermining our true enemy. Boosting the navy only lasts as long as we keep giving advice, and doesn't directly accomplish our goals or harm our enemies it just defends against further loss.

With Heresy we plant a seed for later victory.

you kinda need to live through the current predicament to capitalize on that "later victory", and this mission is not exactly a walk in the park

i mean it's called a suicide mission for a reason

And removing our minders will go a long way to insuring our survival. If these people gets to land, they're immediately make contact with the locals and begin to turn them against us. We don't need to be fighting for the loyalty of our forces and 3 external enemies at the same time. They need to die before their influence spreads.
