And we will cut them down like wheat. At this point, only the Exalts matter and we have access to a number of Dragon-Bloods of our own. Dragon-Bloods that are loyal to us if our minders doesn't get the chance to turn them.
[X] The Grand Heretical Prophecy
Honestly, I'm bored. People have been making boring choices. We just unlocked a vast amount of power. Dangerous and action packed is a positive to me, at this point. Let's make some changes to the world.
Wearing away even a percent of a percent of Syn's power will have far greater effect to our survival and eventual usurpation of the realm than adding one more boost to Zao's navy. Rihaku has already said the navy will be damn near useless to us in the near future and in my view Heresy vastly trumps Scarlet Flag in long term gains for our faction and losses for Syn's faction.
Useful for our Immediate purposes
It's strategic value is great, and it would at least guarantee our supply lines remain open.
The problem is we don't have the time or attention to keep the Heresy chugging.
They have three armies to our one, each of which they were confident could defeat the Legion in residence. Presumably their armies are made up of monstrosities in Lunar, undead and Wyld flavors. And we will cut them down like wheat. I suppose the Deathlord and her Abyssals will just vanish, then? The Raksha freehold and Lunar horde will dispose of themselves? Face it, Luseng is going to require our complete and undivided attention; we can't spare the time to dole out a daily dose of prophecy to forestall Anys' plans. Easier and less time consuming to just buff Zao now, preventing her from eroding the influence of our allies. We will if we don't have to waste time to deal with the intrigue coming from our minders or trying to compete for loyalty. Just kill them now.

We're strong for an E4. The Abyssals have a Circle, and the ghost of a First Age Solar leading them. The Lunar is an E5 'semi-Elder', meaning he's probably been around for 1000+ years. We don't know what the Raksha are fielding, but it's presumably equal to the other two.
The Fae will be coming right for the capital, to put it to the torch. The Deathlord and the Lunar are aiming for the jade mountain.
I'm very worried that we're going to get an either/or choice: save the city or save the thaumaturgical wonder, and let the other one burn.

I find your lack of vision...disturbing. Winning here is just winning one battle. To win the war we need to undermine Anys. Focusing solely on this area is just what Anys want. Let's not play that game.
How do you expect to win the war if we're overcome in the battle? Because we split our focus too much between "Not Dying" and "Undermining Anys Syn"
A pragmatic one? We also chose to enter into a tournament of the finest warriors in all the Realm; not sneaking into Yu Shan on top of that was just us choosing not to spread ourselves too thin.Edit: I mean really, to illustrate my point, we chose to do homework instead of sneaking into Heaven. What kind of choice is that?
We already chose not to focus solely of Luseng, though. That was decided when Three Kingdoms lost; I note you're not disputing the fact that Grand Heretical explicitly distracts from our objectives here, while Scarlet Flag takes less of our precious time and energy.I find your lack of vision...disturbing. The Scarlet Flag will barely help us in this particular situation as we have plenty of other avenues to take advantage of where as Herteical will help us start eroding at Syns base and make some of her supporters our own. We are going to win this with or without the Scarlet Flag where as the struggle for the greater Realm will benefit orders of magnitude more from Heretical than from Sclarlet Flag as it has been presented. How do you expect to win the war if we're overcome in the battle? DBs just don't have the chops to take on Solaroids in most situations, as I think we've proven rather well throughout this quest.Yeah, but we have at least 20 Exalts on our side. 20 Exalts led by a peerless strategic mind who is probably the strongest Solar alive.
Scarlet Flag also gets Ulyssian naval support, and we can probably stunt how that works. Perhaps a wave of marines or two on can be seconded to him under the table? We have 20 odd exalts, imagine what we might be able to do with more, trained to work as a unit!Scarlet Flag just mean Zao's support doesn't diminish. It doesn't help us win as it simply secure a safety net. Prophecy will bring us closer to victory whereas Scarlet brings us further from defeat but no closer to victory.
